Power consumption of SRP520-U series

Hi all

I was wondering, how many series to do the SRP520-U real power draw?

Compared to common quality home devices, I think that energy consumption is above average?

Thank you.

Depending on the device and its configuration, they will build between 4W and 20W.

    Hello

My point is, that I m looking for an external drive that uses only 1 x USB and no extra power. (for my plan, I have only a single USB Port free.)
I bought this external hard drive 750 GB.
On its package, it says it works with USB 3.0 and 2.0 and need only 1 x USB Port. without additional power supply via USB or power supply. (on the package do not mount the power consumption.)

My problem is, most of the usb Ports (on some PC) are what I have only usb 2.0 a the drive does not not on all Machines.
I Don t understand why Toshiba said, his race on USB 2.0 when he knows that the Spezification USB 2.0 allows 500mA on 1 x USB Port and use Max 900mA drive its almost double the power. So it does not work!
How to introduce the Toshiba, how it works?

If I have to take back, because I can't use the drive on all Machines and all Ports.
Please write all the requirements on the package, so I see all the things needed to start on all fittings.

    Best regards

Here you can find also info that it is the HARD drive works with USB 3.0 without additional power because USB 3.0 provides 900 mAh. In this case, you just a USB 3.0 port. There is a note that its compatible USB 2.0, but can't find the info that it only works with a USB 2.0

  • Pavilion 15-n259se: upgrade to ssd Amp (power consumption) or

    Hi all
    I have 15-n259se flag which comes with 500 GB seagate with a consumption of 5 v, Amp.451
I bought a 1 TB SSD which have 5V power consumption and 1.5 Amp it will propply function is or is not
NOTE will have 1 SSD has more than normal HARD drive
    SRY for bad English
    THX

Not sure where the power requirement data comes. The SSD uses 335mw at idle and 1.76w read and 3.66 watt to write.

The hard drive uses 810mw idling and 220mw 2.85 watts in standby and 2.6 watts to read to write.

    http://www.Seagate.com/docs/PDF/datasheet/disc/ds_momentus_5400_6.PDF

The SSD draws less power at idle and is good idling more than a hard drive because it ends its operations much more quickly so that it uses a lot less energy over time and in use.

Long story short: the SSD will be fine.

  • GPS power consumption difference?

I have read the API documentation and found that we can define GPS power consumption in the criteria, my question was how this may affect the difference device and what is between Low, Medium, High? Cost, accuracy and power consumption are all the selection criteria for JSR - 179.  Instead of explicitly select the location provider you want (autonomous (gps), assisted or cellsite) makes it JSR you define a set of acceptable criteria then the API decides to give you based on the features of the device and the network.

  • Calculation of power consumption and data room AC

    Hello

Try to understand my energy consumption of servers in respect of the installation of a new AC unit and potentially adding a UPS battery pack. Certainly not I consider myself an electrician so I would value your input.

I based my calculations this article where, in essence, the formula is: equipment BTU = total power for all equipment x 3.5

Q: is it safe to assume that if a server has a dual power supply to double the power used?

After digging by some docs of dell and random sites, I gathered the information following, and I don't know if it's the correct support :

Power double Power in watts Total power
    PowerEdge 850 None 345 345
    PowerEdge 1550 None 240 240
    PowerEdge 1750 Yes 320 640
    PowerEdge 1750 Yes 320 640
    PowerEdge 1850 Yes 550 1100
    PowerEdge 1850 Yes 550 1100
    PowerEdge 1850 None 550 550
    PowerEdge 1950 Yes 670 1340
    PowerEdge 2850 Yes 700 1400
    PowerEdge 2900 Yes 930 1860
    Large total power: 9215
    Required total BTU: 32252.5

    1 ton of cooling = 12K BTU about needing a 2.6-ton air-conditioning unit.

    That sounds right? Your thoughts?

Certainly I'm not including the size of the room etc. but I wanted to just make sure that I am calculating the consumption of servers correctly. I also read that they start just numbers, and the number of disks in raid and memory sticks to the server will take more power... something that... is the addition of 10W by the disk/memory stick - it true?

    Thanks for your time!

No, you must use the pliers on the individual wires, not more of 3 or 4 wire bundle to a cord. Better to find the track to the circuit breaker box, remove the cover and block it on one of the legs of the off circuit breaker. I would like to leave plug in for a day, exercise oversight for peak power consumption. You will need to get lighting consumption included in total and heat through wall, floor, ceiling, door gain.

  • Pavilion dv7-6135dx: power supply for Pavilion dv series

I have a pavilion laptop dv7 is about 2-1/2 years. I just had to replace after it does not charge while plugged in the battery. I always ran my laptop plugged in and just developed this problem about 5 weeks ago. I received the spare cord recall. Now with the new battery installed, it still will not charge so that hip upward and running. I called the Geek Squad at Best Buy, which has replaced the battery. They said to turn off the unit and allow it to charge for 8 hours. Then the battery charged. So now, I'll have to turn off the laptop at all times to keep the battery charged. It will take a full load of 6-1/2 hours. I think that the power adapter is going or gone bad. It happened to someone else out there? Should I order a new adapter or just to treat the problem and turn off the laptop for the battery to charge?

I ended up having to replace the battery because it was defective. The motherboard was not the problem.  But in the long run, it was actually the adapter that has gone wrong and killed the battery cells. I bought a smart adapter HP at Best Buy, plugged in, turned on the laptop and Yes, it started to load the runtime so solve my problem. I had no idea that the AC adapter might go bad after just 2-1/2 years, but he did. Hope this ends up helping someone else.

  • Power consumption (watts) of Equium A100-147

Anyone know what is the power rating on the computer satellite phone?

I want to buy a car charger but there are two models in the shop an assessment @ 70 Watts and the other assessment @ 120 watts. Any ideas?

    Concerning

    Hello

AFAIK the Equium A100-147 supports an AC adapter 15V 6a 90W.
In my opinion if you want to buy a compatible car adapter you should seek the 15V - 6a compatibility!

  • Power cord power supply and adapters for series nr9700

I would like to buy a replacement power supply cord and possibly an adapter for my laptop nr9700.  passing by the parts store is quite expensive but I think 11.25 in freight for a power cord is outrageous.213349 - 001 is the part number for the power supply cord and 432309-001 for the adapter.  Is there something else comparable for the power cord?

I have a wireless connection and want to move the laptop from one room to the other without constantly by unplugging and plugging it in.

Or you could just buy it here to 63.99 USD (sale today) - includes sector and power cord adapter and it comes with a 1 year warranty.

  • HP 15r205tu: i3 5010u, uncore after sleep and wake up power consumption increases

After start of the uncore cpu power remains unused 1W (according to the CPUID HWmon) below.

If you sleep and wake up the laptop, then the uncore power increases to approx. 2W.

Time remaining on the systray icon is touched by it.

Navigation on the duration of use of a low-power battery is reduced after sleep wake cycle.

Is this a known issue? Is there a solution?

Thanks for the post and suggestions.

Now, I know what has caused this problem.  I had turned off the network adapter cable into the Device Manager to save energy!

This caused the uncore somehow to go crazy and pointing up (only after the day before). Now, I have activated the wired lan card and all is well. The laptop can be used for about 9 hours on battery power saving mode now sometimes the loading of web pages.

    Thanks again.

PS: If any unused pci express port is disabled it can lead to the same behavior.
