  I've been fiddling with the license keys page and decided to make a filter. I had two folders selected license keys and left all options empty except the name of the product of the filter. Filtered by vSphere 5 Enterprise and clicked the button apply. A message dialog box is displayed on the page of keys to license with the following warning message:

  
  

  Data tables warning: Server JSON data could not be analyzed. This is caused by a JSON formatting error.

  and an OK button.

  When I click on the OK button the screen remains the same with a loading... wheel products.

  My L50 has a problem with the internal TFT display. It starts and runs normally and I can control using UltraVNC or by attaching an external monitor, so it isn't a problem with the graphics chip.
  But the internal TFT remains mainly black - after ignition, it gives a short flash showing noise colored with a darker in the middle of about a second task, then becomes almost black and shows that vertical lines brighter and darker than the change in appearance a little whenever the content of the screen is changed.
  The * backlight still works * and on very rare occasions, the screen * lights correctly * and then shows no signs of a problem until I restart.

  Since your laptop is not very useful when you can't read the screen, I used it as a small, low-power 'server' for the last year and a half, which did not cause any change in the situation of the screen.
  I tried to re-allocation of places each connector who may be involved - the great connector of the main card for the Group of experts, as well as all connectors that leads from there to the module Sharp TFT itself and the connectors inside the module. I noticed a few connectors which, when unplugged, causes a white screen Uni, but otherwise, the problem persisted.

  It would be a shame to withdraw from this cute little thing in a drawer just because of the screen.

  Does anyone have a suggestion as to what could be the cause? If I knew for sure that would solve the problem, I could buy a replacement screen or wait an article damaged on ebay that has a working screen.

  Man, it's a pretty old baby. The last time I had something similar in my hands was 4 or 5 years ago.
  In this case, I would say that the screen and the cable must be exchanged because the jury should be OK.

  Why the screen and the cable? Because if the connector on the screen has some damage then the cable she also.
  I guess that the controller of the screen has a few hitches, maybe a touch loose?

  You can go to Dell.com site and search for the part number 312-0448. This is the same kit for the Perc 5.6. and h700.

  To replace it, you will need to turn off the server and unplug the power cord, then hold the power button to drain flea power. After that then just remove and replace the battery. Power back up normally. The configuration is stored in the controller and will not be lost by replacing the battery. The main role of batteries is to provide the power required to save the data from the cache when the server goes down.

• Set up a pre-production environment...

  My current employer has a pre-production environment that is being updated nightly from the production. I started to look at how it is done (powerCLI script) and I'm trying to make things better.

  Here's how it works.

  A snapshot is taken of production servers, which 'freeze' the base vmdk disk. A new virtual machine is created for pre-production and it uses the 'frozen' drive to the production server database, because it is not persistent mode, clean disc. Of course, the virtual machine is connected to a group of isolated ports. Basically, this allows the team dev/infra to have an identical copy of the production servers anytime (just run the refresh script).

  While this works very well, I have a problem on using disks of production for this purpose. Usually, I prefer to leave only one production and complete clones have either fully provisioned pre-production environment.

  Suppose I'm onboard with happens like that and I want to automate the creation of these reservoirs of pre-production. Right now they are built manually to the new servers, and then the refresh script.

  Refresh the script:

  (A) pre-production shutdown server

  (B) remove the snapshot on the production server (committing the latest changes to the base vmdk)

  (C) create new snapshot to the production server (freeze the base vmdk)

  (D) Power Server pre-production (with validated changes)

  
  This script is scheduled every night to start the next day with a cool environment. Another advantage of this approach that is not persistent, it is that a simple reboot brings the pre-production back to a clean version (if tests are not doing well).

  Issues related to the:

  Is there a way to clone a virtual machine without the disc? This would make the easy creation of new servers in pre-production. Clone, log drives, change the port group. Fact.

  Is there a better way to achieve that kind of result without this kind of 'false linked clones?

  The following seems to work for me. A few notes:

  • The virtual machine is cloned without any of its VMDK
  • The new virtual machine is created on the same node of ESXi and store data as a source of VM (since you don't seem to have special requirements in this aspect)
  • This script does not work for a virtual computer with RDM disks

  When you create a snapshot of a virtual computer, new vmdk file are created to write all the new data since the snapshot.

  This new wil vmdk (normally vmname "_00000001.vmdk" "") to develop until the snapshot is deleted.

  This means that if you have a 100 GB datastore race a virtual machine with a 20 GB vDisk Ofbrussels take snapshot, the new file * _0000001.vmdk can grow until the data store is filled. So the instant vmdk can grow much larger than the original vmdk

  The interesting part is, and I think that is where your problem.

  Let's say you have a virtual machine with 3 x vDisk (vmdk) each on a separate data store. (1, 2, 3 Datastore data store data store)

  When you take a snapshot, the file of * instant _00000001.vmdk for all 3 vDisks, will be created on the data store that contains the virtual machine configuration files.

  Say in this case, the configuration of the VM is the data store 1, wink all vdisks will write to the data store 1. When you delete the snapshot, the changes will be Committee of the 1st store of data for the respective data storages.

  I understand, there is no change to your outdoor environment, and I guess you already checked the reading of the temperature of IMM2 Web GUI.

The microsoft Download Center, I was able to download the power pack 1 when I distance destop and try to install, I get "error installing memory is available to process this command.  3 TB of storage.
