  Other that the timelysupportof the right answer, you could do things * methodically * and in the following order:

  1. Uninstall Skype.
  2. Update your web maison.* of manufacturers motherboard chipset driver
  3. Update your audio device driver, since manufacturers web maison.*
  4. Update your video device since the manufacturers driver web maison.*
  5. Update your network from the Web pages of manufacturer (s) device driver. *
  6. Reboot and install CCleaner.  Run and cleaning of loose files it finds.
  7. Download and install MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware (FREE for BOTH) and run scans of complete system with each of them (one at a time) and remove all found each of them.
  8. Open the registry and find the Skype entries and remove them.  Everything you find.  HKLM and HKCU areas in particular.
  9. Reboot again.
  10. Run a CHKDSK on all readers
  11. Perform a defrag on all readers
  12. Reboot again.
  13. Visit http://winodwsupdate.microsoft.com/ and install all the updates that are not optional (optional and hardware software optional can be ignored) and who do not update anything you don't want to update (such as Internet Explorer, etc.)
  14. Restart and repeat 13-14 until you have updated not more not optional, you need to install.  Reboot once more for good measure.
  15. Download the latest version of Skype and install it. Reboot before running it.

  * If possible, go the real manufacturer - not the whole machine - but the device.  For example, if you have an Intel chipset based motherboard, download the drivers for it to Intel.  If you have a video device nVidia, download the drivers for it from nVidia.  If you have a Broadcom network device, download the drivers for it from Broadcom.  If you have a RealTek audio device, download the drivers for it from RealTek.  And so on...

  If, after doing all this in this order, it still does not - it is probably a hardware problem or a Skype number.  However, you might try ONE last thing.  SFC/scannow.  You will need your Windows XP CD-ROM.

  After that - you are really left with material/Skype or something messed up so you might resign yourself to try a full installation of fresh erase (although I wouldn't do if I couldn't have my disk image and send it to where it was before I tried.)

  When I call a viseo, my computer displays only a black screen. The other person sees me very well, but my video show just a white screen. It is definitely a problem on my computer as he arrived with a couple of different people.

  Hey, I recently bought a new computer. I would say that there is one month. In any case, I use Skype for years without any problems at all. • ZBook u2 G15: too quiet Microphone with the Skype program

  I've updated to Windows 10 with a clean install, and it's all working very well.  I have the latest Realtek HD Audio drivers installed (driver Audio Realtek High definition (HD) v6.0.1.7564 A 1, 17.8.2015).

  The microphone works well with voice recorder Microphone of a dispute (Windows 10: 8), which I worked through.

  My problem is to do with Skype, but it is also related to the hardware/software/Windows 10.

  Windows 10 comes with Skype video as an application, which requires a Microsoft Account to use it.  I already had a Skype account that seemed impossible to make a link to my Microsoft account/Skype Video application, and neither I wanted (especially because it was linked to another email address).  I don't like this level of integration, and I wanted to use Skype as a stand-alone Windows program.

  I read on the removal of Skype video via Windows Powershell as an administrator user, and I typed the following commands (based on a Google search):

  Skype video & e-mail: Get-AppxPackage * e-mail * | Delete-AppxPackage

  Phone: Get-AppxPackage * CommsPhone * | Delete-AppxPackage

  Get Skype: Get-AppxPackage * skypeapp * | Delete-AppxPackage

  Then, I downloaded the program Skype for Windows (v7.26.0.101).

  However I have set the parameters of the microphone (e.g. on the level auto/manual setting) to the Echo/Sound Test Service the microphone is so low I can hardly hear what I say.  I can hear the person I call very clearly.

  I note that in settings/privacy/mic, Skype does not appear as an application to grant access to (of course the video Skype app does).

  Does anyone else have this problem?  What can I do to solve it?

  I was able to answer my own question.  There is no problem with having removed the Windows 10 Skype Video app.

This is done by the 'sound'-> tab "Recording" Control Panel-> select "microphone Realtek High Definition Audio" and click on 'Properties'-> on the selection of component of "micro" of "improvements" tab-> click the box 'Disable all sound effects' and then click 'OK' on all the panels back to the sound Panel. »

  You can also get this just by right clicking the sound icon in the system tray and selecting the recording devices.  I also increased the level of amplification to + 10 dB, but I'm not sure it was necessary, as Skype (on automatic volume) adjusts the volume.

  Ah-Ah. Problem solved at least for me. Maybe others can use this trick as well. I was trying to Skype with someone on the international plan, which had not updated their Skype to the new version. Once she did that, we were able to talk. So if you can not Skype with someone, ask them to check if their version of Skype is in common and upgrade if necessary. Hope this helps others who may have connection problems.

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check.

  1. log in to your Skype account.
  2. click on tools, Options, video and settings.
  3. Select the Webcam settings and click on the Advanced tab.
  4. under the Mirror Image, make sure that Horizontal mirror & mirror Vertical is "unchecked".

  A month ago I had a very long video Skype conversation with a friend. I thought nothing of it, until today, when I tried opening the Photobooth and I was greeted with a black screen. I remembered I have experienced problems similar months ago, trying to use Photobooth. I tried to use FaceTime only to be replicated as a blank black square.

  What could be wrong with Photobooth and FaceTime (but not Skype) to cause this problem.

• Replaced logic board

  December 2015 new display iMac with the retina 5 k, 4 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3. The problem started when I opened a photo in preview or Photoshop. The screen was decided in 2 different colors and have to restart. I couldn't open a pic in the preview and work in Photoshop.

  During this time, my camera was working fine and I used video Skype without problem. Then in January, I sent the new iMac to an Apple dealer to solve this problem, and they changed the logic board. It took 4 months to be repaired, he I just for 2 weeks now, preview works fine and photoshop as well BUT I realize that the camera to the iMac does not and the microphone internal as well.

  I have 2 questions.

  1 - How the camera and the internal microphone can be fix

  2. when they replaced the logic board, I lost my serial number not available.

  You do not have a real Apple Store to take your iMac to any type of repairs?

  You take your iMac to a new Center Apple authorised dealers/repairers and it took them almost 5 months to repair/replace a logic board in your new iMac?

  If a new iMac, your statements read as if they were NOT in the very competent repair center for me.

  I would have set up an adjustment NOT seen my iMac nine 5 months and fry it with, however, other problems.

  Why, no real Apple don't Store to take your iMac to.

  Is this repair center labeled as an authorized Apple dealer/service center or is it some computer shop electronics/generic, simply stating that they can fix Macs. Doesn't seem to be a very competent repair center, at all! IMO.

  I think you need to, once more, it bring for repair as the repair center has not done something right (AFTER 5 MONTHS!).

  If you have any actual Apple store, you can drive to, I bring in for repair and explain what has happened with this new iMac, so far.

  Better yet, you can call Apple directly at 1-800-MYAPPLE and speak with the service the customer of what happened with your new iMac purchase and see what they can do for you.

  Your iMac should NOT have this kind of questions after a month and still problems after waiting 5 MONTHS for the logic of BIG boxes replaecment after just a MONTH of USE?

  Contact Apple directly, first.

  This iMac should NOT have all these difficulties.

  See if they would replace your iMac and the plug by another new unit model.

  If this does not happen, and they offer to continue to fix, then make sure that very soon that you pay and save extended AppleCare that gives your new iMac two additional years of warranty repair.

  Recently upgraded to Win10 after invitation to Microsoft to improve the system. The process was smooth, but in the end got 5 unknown devices in the system, including Web camera. So goodbye video Skype.
  More functional keys work but only OSD system (windows) are displayed - don't know how power 3D modem for example.

  First impression of Win10 - no real advantage compared to Win7.
  If not find a solution for my problems in 1-2 months - will return to the registered system.

  Someone managed with 10 windows on Z830?
