  I have a Poweredge T430 with a PERC H330, I add another drive to have as a spare.

  I did all the step and show car ready in the physical disk, now when I go on the virtual disk 0 and try to assign immediate replacement without hard drive shows, that I. m do were bad?

  Hot spare is not a property of the virtual disk. Yes, you will need to cancel the assignment as a global hot spare to assign as a dedicated hot spare drive. If you only have a virtual disk, then it is not serious if it is global or dedicated.

• PowerEdge T430 - GPU solutions to improve graphics performance ESXI

  Are there solutions GPU compatible with the T430 that would be good to improve graphics performance on virtual machines that run on ESXI?

  AMD over-pants S-line cards for virtualization servers seem to be the right solution, but they are expensive.

  As an alternative to a GPU for virtualization, I am willing to consider the installation of a constant slope workstation GPU and do passthrough material between the GPU and a specific virtual machine.  The T430 and other PowerEdge servers seem to be 2 x 3 PEG connectors to power regular graphics cards so I did not know if there is a solution for this path.

  I'd appreciate your comments.

  There is no official support of GPU for the T430. Some cards that can work at AMD, Nvidia W7000 grid K2 and K20.

  I bought an SSD for internal Bay and want to use the drive from the factory with the ultrabay caddy. There are several products that offers SATA II or SATA III. Is the capable standard drive using extra speed up to 6 Gbps?

  My T430 is not mentioned in the description, but I read that 12.7 mm must adapt without any gap.

  I have a 'generic' Ultrabay adapter in my T430s that I bought on Amazon or eBay (can't remember which.) It is 12.7 mm high and fits perfectly without space. The adapter works at speeds of SATA-III. I disassembled the Ultrabay adapter by curiosity. That's all right transmission wiring of the SATA interface, i.e. There is no active circuit to affect SATA speeds.

  BTW, you can also get a plastic case inexpensive with USB interface for the DVD player that will allow you to use it when the HARD drive is in the Ultrabay slot. Search for Amazon/eBay sellers.

  Outside the group that you listed, the only one that looks like it might be compatible would be the Hynix. More glancing DIMMS for the R510, there is a bar shared memory, but it's a 2GB. I don't see any other compatible crossing those listed. Thus, it can be up to error on those you have.

  Also you can mix brands of memory, as the population of DIMMs can be different as long as the population for each socket mode and rules.

  • If dimms of different speeds are mixed, all channels across all CPUs operated at the common frequency of the slowest dimm.
  • That a single dimm type is allowed per system: UDIMM or RDIMMS. They cannot be mixed.
  • The first slot dimm in each channel is color-coded with white release tabs to facilitate their identification.
  • Rank savings and mirroring
  • DIMMs must be installed in each channel from the furthest Dimm to CPU. DIMMs must be installed with County rank largest to smallest. For example, if DR is mixed with modules DIMM SR, the DRs should be in the lowest Dimm then SR DIMM slots.

  I asked an officer of lenovo by online chat to check the compatibility of the battery and my laptop. He told me that the battery wouldn't work. But when I put the battery, the system does not recognize. I go to the Lenovo Solution Center, he only told me that a communication error occurred...

  So is it possible to fix this?

  No. a drumkit 42. The T430s takes a 43 battery.

  I do not know whether the server will support a sound card, but you can try. Looking at the docs here slot 1 and 2 are provided and controlled by the Board of Directors system, slot 3 and 4 by cpu1 and 5, 6 by cpu2. Location 1 is usable.

• Where are the SATA 3 Digital in Satellite P850-12Z connectors?

  I bouth a P850 Satellite last year and I plan to replace the cd with a SSD driver. However, I wonder if the conector of the driver CD is a SATA 3 or 2 SATA to maximize the writing and reading of the speed of the SSD.

  As far as I know the chipset (intel hm76) has two SATA 3 ports. I guess that one is used in the main HDD... but not quite sure that the drive is a SATA 2.

  Is there a way to know if the CD driver uses one of the two SATA 3 ports?

  Of way General Toshiba does not support these updates and it is not possible to find an official statement, where you can find info about 100% compatible caddy HDD/SSD.
  On this forum you can find many threads where people describe experiences of these updates.
  Use the advanced search option and check if you can find some useful info or trick that can help you.

  Of course, you can promote to DC. It can execute a standalone domain with no machines.   Trial versions are full versions that expire. The only reason wouldn't 3rd extensions part is because they must be updated by the developer to support the new version of Flash. It looks like these extensions may require an update of dev.

  You can't update a PERC 6 / i with PERC H700 firmware. It is not an update of the firmware you need - you need a new/different controller card.

  Hi, I recently got a T430 renovated and well, I just love and want to invest in an upgrade to 1 TB hard drive 7200 RPM

  I read the specs here but other than:

  • High, 320 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA 3.0 GB/s 7mm
  • 500 GB, 7200 RPM, 7mm or 9.5 mm high SATA 3.0 GB/s
  • 1 TB, 5400 RPM, 9.5 mm high SATA 3.0 GB/s

  It is really not a lot to spend when buying a new hard drive. (totall rookie at this, so please be nice)

  Are all HDDs OTC market you today my machine? I have read discussions on the Bay in my entirely appropriate machine HDs 7 mm and 9.5 is a stretch and could adversely affect the connection to the motherboard. You can link me to a schematic page? I am looking for part numbers, which would help.

  Here are some HDs I consider, how do I know if they will fit ok? Comments are appreciated. I can watch videos on gootube how swap, this part is easy.

  Currently dual boot win 7 pro and ubuntu 14.04 and I've pretty much mukked to the top of the 320 hd with partitions before I knew any better. Nothing on the drive is special, I might as well do a clean install or restore backups. Which do you recommend?
