PREL saved in avi format

Hello

I can't export my prel files to avi files. It seems that the choice of EXPORT on the file menu in elments 10 is grey. Someone at - it ideas please...

Welcome to the forum.

  1. What pre version do you use?
  2. What operating system and version are you running?

From the first 7, the output function has been moved to the tab share. With pre 11, it's the Publish tab + share (top right of the GUI). Have you checked that?

Be aware that many sharing options, or publish + sharing are too numerous to go into the Control Panel, so we need to scroll to see all. There is a small scroll bar, it's hard to see on the far right of this Panel options, then you might need to scroll, to see what you are looking for.

Good luck

    Hello

Microsoft Movie Maker supports wmv format.
If you want to change other formats, then you must use the option: import video.
This will help import videos saved in another format.

Otherwise, you need to install a free tool to convert avi to mpg.
You can then use the Movie Maker for editing video.

  • Camileo S10 records recording in AVI format

    Hi from Spain,

I just got my Camileo S10 purchased from an online retailer.
I chose the S10 because everywhere on the web, nobody said that it records. Files MOV, which is perfect for me because I'm ready to modify the records on my Mac with iMovie.

First test: I have recorded a few clips on SD card and memory of the internet and watch them on my TV. High quality, nothing to say so far.
I have then connect the S10 to my Mac using the USB cable and discover that all the files are. AVI and not. MOV, as all the world seems to have.

It plays fine with VLC, but iMovie does not recognize one of these files.
I don't want to convert AVI to MOV, because it is a gift for my wife and she wants something simple.

Y at - it an option or a firmware available to change this?
It's very strange... Read all the forums and comments on the net, it seems that everyone is looking for a way to save in all but. MOV

I need an answer to whether or not I'm send the S10...
    Thanks for your help.

Are you sure it s a .avi format?

It seems that the MOV format is supported

  • noise problem Windows movie maker 2.6 when recording in dv - avi format

I installed the filmmaker windows 2.6 on windows 7 Home premium. Everything works fine. When I try to record the final film in DV - AVI format, I get 5-7 seconds of noise very high height introduced where ever there is a change of clip. IE if I have 10 different clips in my film, I get this noise at 10 different locations in my last recorded movie. These are the places where begins a new clip. There is no such noise present when I play the project in movie maker is not present in the original source file (which is an avi file).

Interestingly, when I save the movie in any format as DV - AVI, (IE high video quality, local playback or any wmv file) there is no such noise introduced in the final movie. I used the same clips to make the final movie in windows xp using movie maker 2.1 and there was no question also in the recorded final DV - AVI movie.

So the problem seems to be only on movie maker 2.6 on windows 7, when recording in DV - AVI format (all other formats of work correctly). Clips of same worked well on movie maker 2.1 on windows XP, when recording in DV - AVI format.

I suspect that the video filters (in tools-> options) could be the reason. I checked and all active video filters are those in C/windows/SYSWOW64 directory, so there is no non-microsoft video filter.

Pls help as windows live movie maker (installed on windows 7) all blocks left and right and is basically useless because it can't record any movie to the end. Director of Windows 2.1 was the best choice, but it cannot be installed on windows 7. I can download the video to show what kind of flicker noise is there at the beginning of each clip. It is a volume high, shrill noise as if two things are rubbing against each other.

  • Horizontal lines in the saved preview AVI file

    Hi all

On another thread, I was wondering why I was getting an error message when you try to export and save a movie, but now I was able to get a temp AVI file after hitting enter and save a file preview, but this AVI file preview, which is normally the same quality of the full saved file I think, has horizontal lines in it that are very obvious compared to the original file... below are the screenshots yet sample to compare...

    File Clean original AVI 720 x 480 30 fps

    720x480avi_CLEAN.jpg

Display of the lines in this file first 720 x 480 30 fps AVI preview

    PremiereEXPORTED720x480avi_horizontalLINES.jpg

I have a file imported into the script and she will play opposite via setting the speed being set to-100 and it reads in the preview window properly, in reverse, when I click on the play button.

But when I do a "file > export timeline > film ' command I get an error message saying ' year error occurred while doing this film.» Error writing files (disk full)? " ... but my hard drive is nearly full, with more than 30 concerts left open on it... and my gadget to use RAM shows that more than half of my RAM capacity is not used.

But I got a temp Preview file generated after knocking entered to play the preview after I was not able to save and that ' s how I got this file... and I think that the temporary files are normally just as strong as the final saved files because they take so much time to generate during the preview by pressing on enter as they do when you export and save.

In addition, this process saved an AVI file of 8.5 gigabytes of file 1.5 MB AVI using the codec in CamStudio.

Another test using the MSU lossless codec produces a 3.5 GB AVI file which seemed better, but wouldn't you just play faster than about one frame per second after an hour and a half to save time.

Someone at - it solutions?... I see also that the new record of first shows a large screen size, but it was recorded at the same size of 720 x 480, as the original was.

    Thank you

    NuMetro

The hard drive uses a swap file, and the program creates files (such as the rendered file you use now instead of an export file) and in general, if you get the message that the disk is full, chances are that your disk becomes too full for the program continues.  You must check your hard drive with care and make sure you have enough space to work without this message.  There are discussions here on how to configure your hardware to the good editing (forum hardware).

The horizontal lines you see are "interlaced" lines... rather than being a "progressive"... file You can use mediainfo or gspot to see what your assets are exactly and then implement the project should match the one... and then export to match THAT... and you should be OK (once solve you the problem of hard disk)

  • How can I convert projects (*.prel) files to AVI or WMV format? Is this possible?

In fact, I use Adobe first Elements 10.

    rayssasouza

There is no "Publish + Share" in first Elements 10. Publish + share / is the first items 11 and 12 counterpart on part of first Elements 10.

If you have established your Timeline first items 10 (supposed to 64-bit Windows 7, 8 or 8.1), you can export to a .avi file and the .wmv file and many other formats of the action area. Remember, .avi and .wmv are just file extensions which wrap compression audio and video, as well, by deciding to export choices, good to keep in mind all of the properties you're looking for your export. That being said...

    General idea...

    For the avi file...

    Share

    Computer

    AVI

then you set for the appropriate Presets. =

    For file .wmv

    Share

    Computer

    Windows Media

then you set for the appropriate Presets =.

I suspect what generated your question was that you do not see the AVI and Windows Media choices under share/computer.

If this is the case, you must use the thin scroll right of choices bar and scroll down to AVI and Windows Media to see

and others to the bottom of the list.

Please review and consider. For any question or need more information, feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

  • IMAQ usb capture and record avi format

I installed the ni_imaq_usb_installer_86.exe and I tried to run this VI (86 Grab and save USB LabVIEW vi) but it does not work. The error is that error-1074395986 occurred at IMAQ AVI file format create invalid. Should I supposed to do?

    Hi David,

This error occurs before the start of the acquisition in question, the LabVIEW doesn't have permission to create a file in this folder. So it does not start the acquisition. Try to put another way, for example the desktop.

I have attached the file without saving statement, in order to test your cam support, after you can solve the problem with backup file.

  • Cannot be saved in DNG format in 14 elements

After a few global changes, I converted my camera raw file into a dng file. Now, I want to make local changes. So I clicked on open and open the file in the normal window. After that I made my changes I wanted to save the file under a .dng but it wasn't one of the options. I heard that it should be possible.

    Then how?

The ACR raw converter does not convert only the raw data to an image format, but it also takes into account your settings to adjust the color and tone of your image.

Available in Photoshop ACR version has more features features than elements for these adjustments of colors and tones. In a way, it can replace the part of the facilities provided in pixel editors editing: Photoshop or Elements. He has even "brushes" to set the tones the. But anyway, these "local" adjustments are very limited compared to what you can do with a publisher of real pixels such as Photoshop and elements.

    Hard facts:

-You can never convert any raw image formats such as jpeg, tiff, or psd format.

-DNG format is a "raw" format when it comes to the actual raw data of cameras; It records and maintains this raw information with only a standard format.

-When it is original such as JPEGs or raw data "not raw" data you have already converted and edited, DNG does not convert to 'raw' (it is impossible and absurd), it only "packs" your data to pixels in DNG format. This has benefits, but in this case, you lose part of the flexibility and power to work on the actual raw data.

In your case, you add local changes to an already converted format: you are no longer in the first case. You are in a situation where a 'normal' Editor is the default choice. Elements lets you choose the other option: 'Open as raw' gives you the advantage of using the tools that you are used, which allows you to work "parametric" in saving the settings of your sliders instead of producing a version of output to the pixel in the image format.
