Premiere CS4 vs Full HD YouTube (BEST quality) settings?

Windows Vista Premium (32 bit)

Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (Version 4.2)

Hello. I have a problem. I use this settings to save my work for youtube:

http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/6816/settingsr.PNG

Now, here is a quality that I get with it:

http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=2teDL4MPS_8

I was playing with the settings and somehow, today, I saved this file:

http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=rMBixEnweWQ

I have no idea what I changed, but the difference in quality is important!

I know that the text is a tiny bit smaller better quality and it was move a few pixels, but this isn't the point. I'm 100% sure it has to do something with the settings.

Here are the properties for both files:

http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/9373/propertiesz.PNG

It's a little off strange because a "good Quality.mp4" files has better quality on "Bad Quality.mp4" and yet there one size smaller as well as the note data and Total bitrate (highlighted in red)

I even tried to do that it would increase the quality in the hope. Maybe he did, but not significantly. Not nearly as good as the "good Quality.mp4."

http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/4366/settings2.PNG

Here is a screen of GSpot turned as well:

http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/7506/GSpot.PNG

What could be a problem? You guys can help me work my settings in Adobe Premiere CS4? It's one of those situations where I don't care about the size of the files... I want quality and I wanted the best.

Thank you... Any help is greatly appreciated...

Project of HD with CS3 (yours is a better more recent program so some screens may be slightly different)

images must be explicit sorta...

The only thing I've got tricky for me was (this is the image below shows export settings) I chose H.264 and then chose YouTube preset... and my preset in CS3 has wanted to do a very small file rather than the original size of 1440 x 1080.  So I changed it to 1440 x 1080 and it didn't like that and I had to change level 'hand' to high heat and also go to 4.2... and ALSO to increase the rate of 2997 at 5997. you will see the settings below... the flow, as you can see is quite low (1.2 Mbps max)

I hope this helps... any purpose is link to download from YouTube... looks pretty good!

Good luck, and once again, sorry I wasn't understanding your stuff earlier...

  • Best export settings Full HD for YouTube using Premiere CS4

    Dear all,
In advance, thank you for your time.
I'm downloading sports videos on YouTube especially snooker.
    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=s5qyGPld8U8
The videos are captured with a video camera high quality and then edited with Adobe Premiere CS4.
    Can I ask two questions:
    1. who are the best export settings for Youtube if you use a file of source Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 30 frames per second?
For the export file, I use the same width and height that the source file is 1920 x 1080.
However, the original file is shot at 30 frames per second, but I read somewhere that I have included use 59,94 frames per second for the export file, and it seems to work even if it doesn't sound right, it :-)
My current settings for my export file are:
    Video settings
    Main Concept H.264 video
    Width and Height: 1920 x 1080
    FPS: 59,94 frames per second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square Pixels
    Profile: hand
    Level: 4.2
    Flow settings
Encoding Bitrate: VBR, 1 Pass (I also use 2 because there is no worse that it takes just as long to return, pls correct me if I'm wrong)
    Target Bitrate: 4.8
    Maximum flow rate: 8.2
PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE ABOVE SETTINGS AND EXPLAIN WHY IF POSSIBLE, THANK YOU MUCH :-)
2 is it normal that the video export plays a lot on my PC but when uploaded to YouTube it jumps frames and it seems a little choppy?
I watched a lot of clips on YouTube in 720 p or 1080 p and v seemed good, when I looked at my that he wasn't playing as well as it does on my pc.
Should I keep in mind to help the YouTube Player by chnaging my export settings.
If you please comment on the above and also watch my videos for your comments on how to improve the quality.

    You are welcome

interlaced was sorta invented for use with the tv broadcast and the quality is very good and sometimes even better than progressive (even today) if there is a lot of 'Action' in a scene (less blur in the individual images if you look at the individual images to compare)... also, most DVD to date were burned of interlaced footage and many blue ray are too...

The DVD or blue ray player can understand what type of tv it is connected to (widescreen digital tv or old crt 4:3 tv) and deliver the right signal to make it all good look...

So there is no need to think progressive isn't automatically BETTER interlaced... it depends on a lot of things...

lets see if Ann weighs with cs4 settings for you... then read you these files pdf, hehe... you'll be an expert in no time!

PS... If you are interested, check out the news of color samples (you YUV and 4.2.0

I mention this as it might be more useful late re: reproduction of the right color on your exports (your color of youtube has been a little more 'saturated' IMO... very very green and very very red)... then at some point maybe that can be fixed up a little bit too...

  • Export from Adobe Premiere CS4 - out of low quality/pixelated WMV

Export WMV (Windows Media Video) from Adobe Premiere CS4 (via Adobe Media Encoder CS4) gives a very low quality/pixelated output (especially when there is text in the video). I use the following settings:

    Video Codec: Windows Media 9
    Pass encoding: 2
    Bitrate Mode: Variable unconstrained

    Width of the frame: 1024
    Frame height: 576

    (* Same as source)

Format of the pixels: Square pixels (1.0)

    Decoder complexity: Auto
    Keyframe interval: 5
Average of Bitrate of the video: 5000

I used the EXACT same settings in Adobe Premiere CS3 and the quality is absolutely perfect. (See the comparison example attached)

Any ideas what may be the problem?

    Thank you

  • What are the best export settings for a first Pro CS4 video HD?

    Hello!

I had so much trouble with this issue and that's something that continually frustrates my boss. I have a HD video what are the settings for it

    23.98 FPS

    1920 x 1080, then a few lines down he says 1408 x 792

    16-bit,

    2 channels

    48000 Hz

What should be the parameters when I do a new sequence?

When I look into the window in Premiere Pro I constantly have to "shrink" the image to fit the window, is that something I should do or he says that the configuration of the sequence is bad?

But more importantly what should be the parameters of export? I exported a long video of 4 minutes and the size was 1 GB, I know that it's too big.

I need to export without losing quality and export another one which is consistent with the limits on the size of Youtube and Vimeo.

Vimeo is 500 MB per week, sometimes I download 4 videos per week. I think that Youtube, you can download 500 MB at a time.

I need to get the smaller size with lose the least possible quality AND the best export quality settings, so I suppose I have 3 separate issues.

What are the best settings of sequence for HD video?

What are the best export settings for HD without losing quality?

What are the best export settings for the size of out about 500 MB with losing the least possible quality?

    Thank you!

  • Problem playing a STROKE in Premiere CS4

    Hello world

I have recently graduated from University and looking for my hand to be an independent filmmaker. Before now I have just used my small camcorder for all my projects, but I wanted to get the operation in HD I so bought a new HD camera and was really excited to start using it.

I had a few shots, the downloaded on my computer from the camera chip and tried to import them into Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. Files imported very well, but when they play on the source monitor and program monitor (after I drag in the timeline) pixels are nervous, in the wrong position and sometimes play back. Makes the images look blurred and chunky and it is really annoying when I go to change.  How can I solve this?

The film is very well when I play it with Windows Media Player.

I thought maybe I chose the wrong preset when I opened a new sequence, but I tried to change that for several different settings and nothing has changed. Most of the settings I tried were AVC-Intra and AVCHD.

It looked like few people had similar problems, but with different circumstances than mine. And I couldn't tell if they were able to solve the problem yet. I really want to be able to use this new camera for my upcoming projects and I was hoping someone could help me.

Here are the specs of my software, camera and computer:

Thank you very much for your help!

    Welcome to the forum.

As your camera offers many possible settings, you will need to note exactly which setting you choose in the menu of the camera.

Your Preset Sequence should match those setting perfectly.

A couple of other things to think about:

When you have your Clips on the Timeline, is there a red line above these Clips? This ARTICLE will go into the details.

In the program monitor, which is the defined quality on? I put above and no car, although this work should - sometimes he chooses not of the best quality.

What is the speed of the CPU on your Asus MoBo? For some sequences, such as AVCHD and other variations of the H.264 CODEC, it is VERY important for a smoother read.

Have you updated your CS4? If not, do that first.

Finally, note that playing a simple player, like WMP, VLC, etc., is not the same to play the timeline, as you look now edit images - a little difference that PrPro must manage the images of this edition. The Source and the little play in the project panel screen watching the original film, and now how it will be published on the timeline, so can give smooth playback, where the program monitor studied the chronology.

    Good luck

  • iMovie 10.1 How do I export a project in the best quality

When I right click on a movie theatre it is not possible to "get info" to see what size it is, that is of quality. So I have to copy it to the desktop computer for "get info. In my view, there a lot less bytes project finalized before it is actually exported at the theatre.

Is it possible to export the project in its original full quality lossless on my hard drive somewhere so that I can create a library of best quality movies?

You can adjust the quality if you share the file and check the box if you want to add to the theatre.  Here's a movie 1080 p in full size:

  • How better and easy to capture VHS for editing in Premiere CS4?

I've got some tapes VHS in 2000 that I really want to get into the Premiere CS4.  I have a large Alienware that runs on Win10 and I also have a beautiful G raid external hard drive.  I read on Amazon on some of these gadgets that you plug into your VHS machine and it has a USB port on the other end.  It seems that the comments are sporadic, so I wonder if anyone knows the best way to collect those VHS tapes?

One thing I don't want to do is open my Alienware and put a plank in.  I am not mechanically inclined to do.  In any case looking for suggestions, etc. who would work with a Win10 machine.  Thank you.

Thanks for the reply to my comments to complete Responses to your subject.

    Factors in your planning...

First elements 13/13.1 does not support Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS 10.7.

First items 10, 11 or 12/12.1 on a Windows computer is 64-bit application when it is run on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit computer. Otherwise, it's a 32-bit application. This has implications on important it resources, particularly for your biggest projects in Premiere Elements.

Video mobile phone registered with a variable rate is a consideration for any version of Premiere Elements. If your cell phone video shows with audio out of sync and you use the hand brake to correct this condition, you should get good quality of the handbrake H.264.mp4 (just make sure that the export rate is comparable to that of the original in addition to changing the frequency of images to a number (use same as source) and selecting constant for this frame rate).

If any clarification on the above, do not hesitate to ask.

    Thank you.

  • Best quality Export format

    Hi Experts,

I'm working on the first Elements 10. I want to export the video in better quality. I'm going to play in Big TV video from a USB USB OR from YouTube, or through airtime or through DVD.

But I see a lot of options to save video files. Example: "HDTV 1080 p 30 high quality" / "MPEG2 1920x1080i 30" / "Adobe Flash Video" etc. "."

One who gives quality. I want to keep the video file best quality at all times.

If your source video is 1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 progressive frames per second, so your 12 elements of first is not appropriate as defined by the program. You then define the predefined project manually to

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    DSLR 1080 p 30 @ 29.97

As a side note, if your camera really saves 30 progressive frames per second and not 29.97 progressive frames per second, then the project preset for set is

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    DSLR 1800p 30

Try to check this information in a test project, where you import the active project file, right click on the thumbnail, select interpret footage and see the section of the cadence of the dialog interpret the film.

When it comes to exporting, please consider

    Publish + share

    Computer

    AVCHD

    with Presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080 p 30

(default values are suggested and should work, but they can be customized according to the advances of the tabs button and video and Audio if needed)

You must download this file on YouTube on the web site YouTube.

You can load your original content of timeline on YouTube since the first of 12 elements YouTube function, as much as he respects the requirements of 2 GB 15 minutes. Download YouTube extended agreements are obtained from YouTube and apply only to the YouTube video on the YouTube website not the functionality of Adobe.

Adobe YouTube feature road would be

    Publish + share

    Social sites

    YouTube

with the (non-adjustable) preset should be High Definition Video for YouTube 1920 x 1080

What I've read, YouTube converts video in a flash (probably H.264.flv) file.

  • Ciniform is always the way to go for HD on Premiere CS4 editing?

    Hi all

I may have an opportunity to make a film India shot in the P2 HD 1080 p.  However, I have a few questions...

0 can you Premiere CS4 read and edit MXF files?

    1. I don't know if my first CS4 it system will handle natively without using an intermediate codec as Ciniform. The files have already been transferred to an external drive that I'll then copy the video player my systems. Here is my current configuration of the system:

    . First CS4

    . Windows 7 x 64

    . 12 GB DDR3 ram

    . Image Intel 920 processor

    . 1 TB (2 x 500 GB) video player

    . disk of 1 TB (2 x 500 GB) of storage.

    2. the customer is not sure that cadence, the clip was shot in 24 p or 59 p. Is there a way to determine the correct frame rate so I can choose the first screening in good? I may be able to use VLC to view codec information.

PR CS4 publishes P2 media like butter.  P2 one of the best HD codecs to modify.  MY HUMBLE OPINION

I used to work with Adobe Premiere CS4 on a PC Windows-Vista (64-bit). Everything was fine. Now I've updated my computer to Windows 7 (64-bit). I did all the updates (Windows & Adobe & update of the bios). Result: Everythink works, but video preview is stuttering & excitement as an old Chaplin movie. I also changed all the benefits in the first, unsuccessful :-(. This problem occurred already with simple SD-footage (DV - AVI)... I decline to test with HD material.

What is the probem? I mean the first worked on the same machine with the old vista 64 with no problems...

The most important facts & figures on my PC:

    Hey there @lh39!

I should be able to provide assistance on creating a new preset!

Looking at the screenshot your provided it seams like you're very limited to the print settings.  I would recommend open TextEdit on the Mac computer.  TextEdit is located in the application folder.  The only reason why I recommend the use of text edit is just to create the new printer preset for optimal quality.  Once you have TextEdit open go to file and click on print.  You should get a preview window before printing.

    Please follow the steps:

    1. click on "Show details" if it does not say "hide details".

    2. choose "paper Type and quality.

    3. change the quality of 'best '.

    4. click on the drop down preset menu

    5. click on "Save current setting as a preset.

    6. type your name of preses (E.g. best quality)

    7. click on OK and reset your is now registered

When you have finished creating the preset, you should be able to open your original print job and choose your new preset!

Let me know how it goes and thanks again for the display on the HP Forums!

It is a problem of Adobe - is not a Vista problem.  Please contact the technical support for this product at:http://www.adobe.com/support/premiere/ and they must be willing and able to help you.  It is said expressly in the error message that it occurredin the Application.

  • Workflow to ensure the best quality print files

I have a number of birds in flight photos that do not whole screen. I want to crop the part of the image and print it.

I want to complete the process in Lightroom cc, however the impression that I get on the web, is that Photoshop has tools higher resampling.

What is the optimal workflow between Lightroom and Photoshop to get the best quality print file?

I had to rate an image for printing several years ago and made some tests using Photoshop, Lightroom and some third-party software, resize possibly perfect.

It turned out that Lightroom has produced the best picture, followed closely by Photoshop.

The image produced by the third-party software maybe was a bit stronger than the others, but it seemed unnatural.

You can easily test yourself - create images in the same dimensions in pixels of Lightroom and Photoshop, then compare them to view 100%. Photoshop you give several resampling options that produce slightly different results, try bicubic and bicubic smoother.
