PremPro CC 2015 - error decompression video - or audio MPEG files won't import or play previous projects

Just opened a project that works very well in 2014 CC PremPro (last version before 2015 update) and all clips are offline. When I try to recreate a link to them, it tells me that it there as an "audio or video decompression error."

When I try to import the files into Prem Pro CC 2015, the same error message.

When I return to Prem Pro CC 2014, everything works fine.

Clips are mpeg.

Tested the other clips, MOV and so on, and they all seem to work without any problem.

How can I attach a sample of the clips I have problems with that?

Try this.

  • My Windows Media Player will play the video of an MPG file, but it will not play the sound. What is the cause?

    I do video editing.  I transferred my camera video file and Windows Media Player played the video and audio very well at the beginning.  I edited the file with editing software and exported the file again.  Now, the sound will not play using WMP but it will play if I use video editing software.

    As a result, I've uploaded new files from the camera and now WMP not give me sound on those either.  If something seems to be affected by my WMP.  Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

    Hi rgosmond,

    (a) don't you get any specific error message when you play the video?

    (b) what is the file format of the resulting video file after editing by using the video editing software?

    (c) you are able to play the files on the computer? You hear the sound?

    I suggest you try the following steps:

    O make sure that windows MediaPlayer is not muted, press F7 on the keyboard to turn the sound back on.

    Ø check if the volume is at a minimum in Media Player, press F9 on the keyboard to increase the volume.

    Verify that the default audio device is correctly set

    1. click on start, type Sound in the box to start the search.

    2. click on sound in the results of search at the top of the start menu.

    3. click on the tab reading notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is speakers. Make sure that the audio settings are configured as expected. Follow these steps:

    4. on the playback tab, select the playback device, click Properties, click the Advanced tab and make sure that the default Format is set to the value you expect. When you are finished, close this window to return to the previous window.

    5. on the playback tab, select the playback device, click on configure and make sure that the configurations are set correctly.

    6. If the sound settings are well positioned, you are using speakers as the audio device and your speakers are already set as the default device, go to method 5 now.

    7. Select the audio device you want as the default audio device and then click on set as default.

    8. click OK to save your settings and close the sound dialog box.

    Now, check if the problem is resolved.

  • Media Player does not burn the audio (wav) files on the disk, or play "" CD error ".

    Media Player was working fine until recently. Now when I hit the button "Start burn" the burn starts momentarily, the time of the audio files is displayed, but when I insert the CD in the drive, it reads 'CD error' and there is no sound. I recently installed a new security package (Webroot) but none of my other software has been affected. Tab of computability, I noticed that it is set to windows 95 (I have windows 7), but the program does not allow me to change it. • CS4 Pro video and audio recording separate...

    I need to have the video and audio together... not two separate folders, my project is due in two days, and I have no idea how to get them both together... I use cs4 master collection!

    How did you need the project? Will it be a DVD-video, a data DVD, another Portage system?

    If you make a DVD-video, you will want to use again the author who and she will have Audio & video encapsulated in the VIDEO_TS folder structure and resident in VOB (basically MPEG-2 files) in this structure.

    If you make a data DVD, where you'll have a single file (multiplex or multiplex), it is a simple export. If you do not get the Audio & video multiplexed into one file, there are the wrong settings in your export. First of all, you will want to check the export Audio and video export, and then you have to go to the tab of multiplexing (on most Export dialog screens) and choose "DVD" and NOT "nil." This is probably one of these two parameters which gives you separate Audio and video.

    If you need something, tell us what it is and make sure you have chosen the export Audio and video export AND chose the correct setting in the tab of multiplexing - basically nothing, but nothing.

    Good luck

  • Error when you try to open a video or audio file using Windows Media Player-operation abandoned

    WINDOWS MEDIA NOT OPEN FOR ME!

    I recently bought a new jvc hd everio hd camera, I put the videos I recorded there from the other day that the files were .mts and he says, replace these files with .avi and it will play so I played 1 and he played really agitated then WMP just stopped working and I got the error

    Hi DragLee,

    Windows Media Player is the default or integrated drive in Windows Vista. It can't be uninstalled or reinstalled. However, if a system file is missing or damaged, we can run sfc (System File Checker) scan to find and fix system files corrupted.

    Try these steps and check the result.
    Step 1: Scan of the sfc
    1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow
    3 restart the computer once the analysis is complete.
    4. check if the problem persists.

    For more information, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Step 2: If the problem persists, perform the system restore to a date where the media player was working fine
    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
    4. click on finish.

    I hope this helps.

  • audio and video out of sync in first pro cc 2015, player QT video on a mac mini

    So, I use Adobe Premiere pro cc 2015 to change a screen capture video recorded with quicktime player. I'm on a mac mini with OS X el capitan, and it was my first time using first (so I probably just doing something wrong because I do not know the program, but anyway, I imported the video into the first, (it's a .mov file format) and the video and audio are out of sync) so I thought ok, I can simply detach the audio, move it above, the re - attach it, right? so I found a part of the video that has been easy to match the audio and video, and I lined up. Everything was perfect until I went to other parts of the video and realized that they were always out of sync. Apparently, the video is at a different speed or format or something as the audio, and even if I have lined up on the one hand, the other parts are always out of step. I looked at how to fix, I messed with the project settings, then tried to change a .mov to a mp4 (because a mp4 file that I already have on the computer was functioning very well in first) and finally, as a last effort, I downloaded version 2014 so and NEITHER VERSION WORK they both the same number.

    If someone can please help me I WILL BE so HAPPY and thanks a lot in advance

    I am really sad because I'm upgrading to use iMovie (ugh) and I was so excited for the first time and now it is messed up, and I'm really disappointed.

    If it makes a difference, the microphone that I use is a blue snowball ice I bought a week ago (WEEK AGO) haha

    None of the parameters of creation, or QT player or something that might help is very much appreciated.

    Thank you, Owen

    Thank you very much!! I finally found out with the help of the family, but I thank very you much for help!

  • Capture VHS in Premiere Pro 2015, choose the option to capture video and Audio, doesn´t work!

    I used the first Pro CS6 and Premiere Pro 2014 before capture VHS via a record JVC deck, but now, when I do the same process in Premiere Pro 2015, it captures only the video in the option Capture Video and Audio mode. The only way to capture VHS audio is her choose Audio separately, because in this mode, it works. But then I have to synchronize video and audio, and it is not the best option. I can´t find no reason or settings which differs before when it worked. Do you have any suggestions?

    I use Mac OS X 10.9.5.

    Hello! I found the solution. The novelty in first Pro 2015 is that you mark a video and an Audio track to drag the material captured in the Timeline! Now, it works fine.

  • Movie Maker import my. MPG video with Audio only

    My OS: Vista Business 32-bit
    My Movie Maker: Version 6.0

    I have a video file of 4.4 GB of a recent trip.  It's on my Motion LE1700 Tablet PC to the .mpg format.  If I click on the file, the video and audio both appear.

    My problem: when I import into Movie Maker (by clicking on 'Videos' under 'Import' to the left of the screen) if I can edit and publish later, the properties end up the show as an audio file under 'source '.  It only allows me to drop - drag the file into the audio part of the timeline, and I can't see the video when I play (I can hear the audio).

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thanks for any help.

    Movie Maker has problems of compatibility with the MPEG files...
    It may be interesting to try to convert the MPEG for the WMV file
    format before you import into Movie Maker.

    There are many programs that can do conversions...
    The following freeware is an example...:

    (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
    Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
    (the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
    ('all' boxes on the last screen)

    First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag FFSetup260.exe out of the folder
    and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

    Next, after the download and installation of Format
    Factory... you can open the program and
    left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
    "Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
    (this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

    Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

    Select "all to WMV" / OK...

    Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • BB10 - Audio/video in HTML5 - reading file from the file system

    Hello.

    I tried to read a file from the file system on the BB10 Dev Alpha, using the HTML5 video + HTML5 Audio implementation, but it seems to not work for me with the following source code:

    var audio = document.createElement('audio');
    audio.src="/accounts/1000/shared/music/testfile.wav";
    audio.controls = true;

    var video = document.createElement('video');
    video.src="/accounts/1000/shared/videos/testfile.avi";
    video.controls = true;

    Referring to the HTML5 Audio API documentation and Video of HTML5 , I used the example presented here source code, but I still get the following error message:

    Anyone now how to get it working or if it is not yet implemented in the BB10 WebWorks API/framework?

    Well, I believe that what could be the problem.  In order to access to the / shared the location of the folder, your application should allow the permission to do so.  This can be done by adding the following to your config.xml file:

        access_shared

    Next, you need to whitelist the way file:/// by adding an element to access.  I remember that's how its done:

    Note You can whitelist all areas using the following:

    Hope that helps.

  • Cannot call a spade BBM video or Audio application in the workspace

    I have an application workspace, I'm developing, and I can't call video BBM.

        InvokeManager invokeManager;
        InvokeRequest request;
        request.setTarget("sys.service.videochat");
        request.setAction("bb.action.OPEN");
        QString data_str = "dest="++"&video=1";
        QByteArray data = data_str.toUtf8();
        request.setData(data);
        invokeManager.invoke(request);

    I don't get any errors. It does not only. It is not accessible from the workspace?

    Sorry, I should have been more clear.  BBM video and Audio conversations are not officially supported, but you can call BBM to do a text based chat.  The bullets refer to list the features of BBM.  But note that it is also said that some of these features are available for applications in the workspace.  Not all the target invocation of basic applications take on the workspace.  For example, that the camera is not supported.

  • Videos with a resolution of portrait (1280 x 720) play with a black screen, audio is heard, in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7

    Hello

    I noticed that the video playback for videos (with a resolution of portrait, specifically 720 x 1280, appear black with audio being heard in Windows Media Player 12 (WMP 12) on Windows 7.  A Playbook has been used to capture video to the resolution of portrait.  I also noticed that if the Playbook capture resolution 1280 x 720 of the landscape, the video plays fine in WMP 12, so I know it is not a Codec problem and seems to be related to the dimensions of the video picture.

    The same portrait videos can be read normally with VLC and other video player applications.  Is this a known problem or limitation with WMP 12 on Windows 7?

    Thank you

    RS

    P.S. as an aside, Playbook captures video in MPEG-4 AVC video Codec and Audio MPEG-1 layer 2 Audio Codec format.

    Hello Rami,

    Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft community.

    I understand that whenever you play a video (720 x 1280) Portrait format, it shows a black screen.

    To resolve this problem, we need to do some diagnosis so I would say that you check out the link and follow the steps.

    Do not rely on such update. 2.7 K is not an ordinary resolution.

    You can import 2.7 K in ss14, you can't stabilize.
