  Hi all
  
  I have a query that uses inline views and it fails with unable to extend temp error space, space initially temp has 30 GB of space, it went to 50 GB then it also fails.
  
  If I replace views in line with a view, other than maintaining the opinion, will there be disadvantages as performance.
  
  Earlier my opinion inline has some data only, now has increased from 15 to 20 times.

  You have WITH the clause or a sort of query rewrite when optimizer decides to materialise the subquery is possible. Another possibility there is ORDER BY or GROUP BY using the sorting and sorting is not too big, only to sort in memory but also runs out of disk space (tempdb) .c as others already so noted, planning to post request and execution.

  The output will contain the 5rows with 5 larger values for Col3.
  These 5 rows not necessarily appears in order. Add an ORDER BY clause in the main query if you need ensure that.

  Maybe it's that, on your version of Oracle and your platform, the main request happen to keep the agenda constantly. This is exactly the kind of thing that stops working when you move to another version or another platform. If you want the end result in good standing, to use an ORDER BY clause in the main query.

  It's a tough call.  For the most part, these scammers are simply interested to bill you for your non-existent problems and then sell you a costly "contract of service" rather than actually steal information on your part.

  On the other hand, let you someone have total control over your computer and even if you could probably see everything that was done, he could well be activity past in the background a copy of your files.  Usually, however, all they do is look at the event viewer where they can surprise highlighting the 'mistakes' and 'warnings' (which virtually every Windows computer displayed in the event viewer) and thus convince you to buy their services to 'fix '.

  I hope someone out there can help. I recently bought a new samsung TV after that my old one failed. My new TV doesn't have a RGB port to connect a VGA cable to so I can use my PC as my old one done, it has HDMI and my PC only output VGA. I bought a VGA Converter HDMI to maplin and when I start my PC the image appears on my TV because it goes through its startup upward. It displays windows prepares, but then the Windows point would open normally, the signal on my TV dies and it does is display the message no signal on the screen. If I start thr PC in safe mode, windows starts very well and the signal does not go down. I use windows 7. Someone knows how to fix?

  It is possible that your computer is trying to send a resolution & frequency to which the TV cannot manage.  I suspect that this is because the image is displayed when starting, but then disappears when Windows takes control - until Windows takes over, the resolution sent will be below.

  You should consult the manual of the TV to its specifications.  Mine, for example, just a a simple table of resolutions & combinations of vertical frequency it can handle.  Then look at the Control Panel, display, change display settings to see what your computer can produce and choose one that fits these two machines.  If the best resolution display settings don't work then go to the next best resolution [or in the setting of 640 x 480 to see which works best].

  Once configured, Windows will display the setting chosen at the television screen every time so you will not have to keep setting up for each session.

  Each time that you connect the TV you can use the Windows key + P key combination to toggle the display.

  I don't know if you want the TV an extended desktop or a single view.  You might find, as I did, that the TV can use a higher resolution output if it is the only view.  I suspect that this is a result of capacity of the computer's display adapter because it has less work to do if there is only one required both display.

  Once you put in place, you may find that control panel display settings, display, change, advanced has useful additional parameters, but you'd probably need to have a good guide to help with your graphics card make any sense of the options available.

  If that is not enough then I suggest that you try to find an online forum for your TV, hoping that someone has done what you are trying to do.

  Many queries take less time the second time you run them. After the first performance, there may be many, if not all, lines in the buffer cache. Then the second round will not make any or all e/s physical but will obtain data from the buffer cache.

  Also, you haven't checked that the MV was even used for the second run.

  Drop the MV and make the query several times and means of the time. Then create the MV and do the same thing.

• How to get the inline query which is drawn from the TAB specific Application.

  I want to capture the sql that is raised in my prod database when an applicaton tab is hit as it takes about 5 minutes for the tab to be loaded. So is it possible, for the inline sql, which is the origin of the problem, directly from the prod environment.
  
  (Note: I looked through the browser session in PROD DB for the query, but there, I found a lot of meetings and a lot of requests, I do not know how to distinguish the session being created by the specific tab I hit).

  Please, please tell us that you have a Test environment? Log into that, then run a trace.
  No doubt you can either descend all test for a few miinutes and/or
  easily distinguish sessions on your Test System? That's exactly what the test
  the environments are for.

  The SQL execution will be the same - you can go try to find
  the root cause of the problem.

  I'm afraid of strange behavior in db, on my paintings of master UDBMOVEMENT_ORIG (26mil.rows) and UDBIDENTDATA_ORIG (18mil.rows) is created the materialized view TMP_MS_UDB_MV (UDBMOVEMENT stands for this object) that meets certain default conditions and the join on these paintings of master condition. MV got on the lines of 12milions. I created MV for poll not so huge objects, MV got 3GB, paintings of master toghether 12 GB. But I don't understand that physical reads and becomes compatible is less on MV that on the main tables, the final execution time is shorter on the master tables. See my journal below.

• JavaScript and the detail view

  I can't find an example anywhere online, but I have a problem with the idea that I'm the only one with this problem! I just created a brand new application with nothing in it, and it does the same thing, so I don't know what else to do.
  
  The problem: I have a page with an interactive report in it. This report offers a detailed view. I have a few javascript placed in script tags in the section "after lines. The script runs when I first consider the report and whenever I update the page, but if I move to the reports and display back to the detail view, the script does not run. How can I run whenever you view the retail version?
  
  My accurate measurements, with Apex 4.0.1.00.03:
  To create the new application, the type of database, from scratch.
  * Call "Test Javascript", do it from scratch.
  * Create a blank page called 'hand '.
  * Without tab.
  * None of the shared components.
  * Application Express authentication by.
  * Theme 1.
  * Finish and change the home page.
  * Click on the button 'Create' the area' on this page' superior right (ish) and
  * Report
  * Interactive report
  * Title 'Test', click Next
  * Query: select 'blah' double blah
  Create a region
  * Right-click to Test and modify attributes of report
  * Click on the tab of the detail view
  For the each line: < p > Test: #BLAH #.
  * Once the lines: alert < script > ("the script is running."); < /script >
  * Detail view enabled = Yes
  Apply the changes
  * Run
  
  When I click in the detail view, nothing happens. When I refresh my page via the browser, the script runs. When I refresh by clicking on "view details" once again, or click on back and status display, it doesn't. When I log in again and he remembered my previous opinion, it runs the script the first time.

A gap and more 1 600 of my albums appear any more in the grid view.  They are still there on the HARD disk, and they appear in the artist's view.  Everyone has noticed this bug.  Perhaps no Apple software engineering testing with as many tracks as I have in my collection?  All displayed correctly in earlier versions of iTunes, so the last update broke something. I reported the bug to Apple, but I guess they get thousands of suggestions every day...

  

  This happens to me also, and in my case it seems that marked as 'Compilation' albums are not displayed in the grid view. Is this the case for you also? Music is still there and, as you say, can be accessed via the menu "artist". Probably just a bug that I do not see why it would make sense to hide the compilations in the album view.

• Install Windows 8 on external drive Thunderbolt - Windows could not prepare the computer to begin the next phase of installation

  Hi all

  I'm at my wit's end trying to install windows 8. Let me start at the beginning: I used to have windows running on my Mac Pro ssd internal 8.1, installed via bootcamp. It worked well for a while, and then refused to start, gives me a blue screen KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. Despite some advice from lonely T, I was unable to fix and ended up wiping the partition and relocation, again via bootcamp. Yet once again, it worked for a few months, then the same problem. I made this one last time, and it only lasted 2 days... So I gave bootcamp.

  I think that the hybrid MBR partition scheme that implements bootcamp is the culprit, but I don't really have evidence to substantiate this claim. In any case, I tried to install windows in EFI mode. (If I understand correctly, the hybrid MBR is set up to allow windows to install in legacy BIOS mode, but that windows 8 may now install efi, which supports my Mac Pro mode.) My Mac is the new Mac Pro (end of 2013, trash in shape), and I can say short UEFI 2.0 (I have the latest efi update from apple installed).

  The method I'm trying:

  1. create a new partition in HFS + on my external drive using disk utility. The drive has now it's efi partition and partition empty 750Go I want to install windows a 1.25 TB storage partition that I use with my mac. It has a GPT. I formatted HFS + and no FAT, because I think that disk utility creates the same hybrid-MBR as training camp every time a FAT partition is created.

  2. use gdisk to confirm that the disc does not have a hybrid-MBR. (sudo/dev/disk1 gdisk watch MBR: protection)

  3 restart my mac and hold the possibility to put in place to bring up the boot efi menu.

  4. Select the EFI_Boot DVD icon (that's the windows 8 install dvd that I have in my superdrive USB drive)

  5. go in the menus of the disk selection screen installation and delete the partition in HFS +, I created to install windows on (the format option is not available)

  6. now select "Unallocated space" on the good drive and click Next.

  The problem:

  Partitioning seems to go ok (there is no feedback on this basis, but it proceeds to the next screen, and all new partitions expected are there if I check diskutil list later). He said it is "copy of windows files", but then stops with the error "Windows has no prepare the computer to start the next phase of the installation." To install Windows, restart the installation. "If I restart, I can start the same process all over again and get the same result.

  The Question:

  How I get this error and get windows install?

  Extra pieces:

  • The first time it happened I assumed it was the new sip / thing "without roots" in El Capitan, causing problems, then I disabled, but I still get the same error.
  • After reviewing the diskutil list output after one of installs it without success, I found that a labeled EFI partition has been created after my storage partition (the original efi partition was still there in the upper part of the disc).
  • I have windows 8.1 installed now bootcamp on my internal ssd. It was planned to use it and winToUSB to put windows on my crush, but I found that it only works with usb2. I do not have installed could cause problems with the installation on another disk.
  • Before say you I can't run windows on an external, yes you can, and many people have. I read windows sees thunderbolt internal disks.
  • I read a few other posts on this and other sites on this problem, but could not find a pertitnant solution to my situation. I found one that suggested to remove the efi on my disk partition, but that seemed like a bad idea, so I didn't try.
  • I write this at 1 in the morning after a day spent in front of the computer trying to get this working, so please excuse typos typing or other. I am pleased to provide you with any pertinant information helping you will help me.

  I tried to install windows on the physical disk using vmware and virtual box. The instrutctions I followed for this can be found here: http://www.andrewsavory.com/blog/2011/2156 (the only thing different, it's because it's on an external drive, I created the Fat 32 partition manually using disk utility). The first time (using vmware) installation seems to go off without a hitch, but I couldn't get my computer to see the windows partition as bootable with the boot efi menu hold-option regular refined or with system preferences-> startup disk. I think that I was using always inadvertently a hybrid-MBR at this stage. I tried to repeat this new beginning with the first two steps above to avoid the hybrid-MBR. But now when I try to create the virtual machine based on the gross vmdk, it starts to copy the files then says not sufficient permissions and fails. I don't know if it's a permission with the disk or the hard problem. I tried chmod 777 and chown $USER of the vmdk disk (/ dev/disk1s3) does not.

  1. when a second drive is detected by the Windows Setup program, he wants to create his own brand of EFI (104 MB) and not to mess with the Mac EFI (200 MB). You can force it to use the EFI to the Mac using Diskpart commands.

  2 instead of HFS/FAT32, create a piece of 750 GB free space and it should only get a new MSR/MSD, without the part of EFI.

  3. on your VM method, the link you have is quite old. You have a MP 2013, with references to the 2010 Mac alumni and is a bit too archaic to be useful. http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/install-a-Windows-7-partition-on-Mac-OSX-Wit hout-optical-car-or - usb.1836959 / #post... seems to work for many and can be useful for a test. It also uses Winclone.

  I had problems for some time with my HP ENVY when you restart.   I have a backup Seagate more Desktop 2 TB connected via a USB hub.    When it is connected and restarting the computer, it goes to the screen to "prepare the AutoFix.   So I have to unplug and restart and that's fine.     I don't know why it continues to be.   I checked my BIOS and it should boot from the hard drive first.     Any ideas?

  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  Using a USB hub, you get a signal from one of the disks is trying to make a repair due to a possible disconnection during a writing session.  You will need to do is a test on the external drives to see if one of them has problems.  Try to make a direct connect with each drive connected by tonight and see if they are the problem on their own.

  If one of them is causing the problem, try and use the test drive of windows.  Here is a link to help you with that.

  Seen these errors for a while. system works well and smoothly.  No symptoms of malware or infection seen or found.  I would call these software errors as they seem does not affect the operation of the system.

  I have never used the program VEW and don't think I will check it - I just look at the Event Viewer logs the old-fashioned way (manually) if I think that there is a problem, but that might just be the old me.

  It is true that XP Home doesn't have Group Policy Editor, but all policy settings are always available via the registry.

  Some malware will change your GP settings and cause problems.

  I have a little import registry will correct all the ones I know, so if someone has these symptoms, any flavor of XP, they are running, I'll just send the script because sometimes you will be not able to solve the problem, even if you have not the GP Editor.

  The registry always import work - and work well for XP Home or XP Pro.  If you have the symptoms and XP Home, what would you?   Start the import operation of the registry.

  If you're curious, off on my SkyDrive it is a spreadsheet Excel (Group Policy settings) who has all the parameters of GP and where they are in the registry.  I do not recommend start searching, but it is useful to know where things are if there is a problem.

  I would not allow the connection of a security XP stuff unless you think you're being attacked.  More and verbose logging slows things down.  My Event Viewer Security log is empty.

  Find the links to the Microsoft Support Engineer for the most part useless to actually solve a problem (because it help you with your problem), if someone has a question or point of Event Viewer, I usually just send them this:

  A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

  The most interesting newspapers are usually the system and Application logs.

  Some newspapers such as security and Internet Explorer may be completely empty or have just a few items.  The default settings for XP wants do not connect all this activity, unless you need to solve a problem in these areas.  If you enable logging for them the papers fill up quickly and could adversely affect the performance of your system with all the extras (often unnecessary) activity.

  If you have Microsoft Office installed, it has its own newspapers, and they can be empty or occasional boring activity very little or, if there is no problem with your desktop applications.  It's normal.

  Not every event is a problem, some are informational messages that things work very well, and some are warnings.

  However, no event should defy reasonable explanation.

  Each event is sorted by Date and time.  Errors will be red Xs, warnings will have yellow! s.
  Informational messages have white is.  Not every error or warning event means that there is a serious question.

  Some are excusable at boot time when Windows starts.  Try to find only the events to the date and time around your problem.

  If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

  When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.
