  Hi everyone - I just downloaded Dreamweaver 8.0.2 on my new computer running Windows Vista. (It used to work fine on my old computer with XP).
  
  I have two browsers listed in the overview section: IE 7.0 and Firefox 2.0. Firefox is my secondary and looks great when I click on the preview icon.
  
  IE is listed as my first, but it is "gray" in the Preview button and I can't click on it. I can access through F12 however. (I went in edition and it has a good address)
  
  Any thoughts? I know I can just get used to hit F12, but here the button work also. Thank you!

  What do you call GDP? Tell you that if you do:

  File > Preview in browser > Netscape 8

  that your page opens to the opera (not Netscape 8)?

  Note that if this is the case, you can manually change the entry for
  Netscape 8 and all browsers with this behavior to fix.

• Spry.htm error when previewing in the browser

  I get an error when I click on 'Preview in browser' - he said: "the following translators were not loaded due to errors: Spry.htm: has configuration information that is invalid."

  Looks like you might have a corrupted Configuration file. See remove a corrupt cache file.

• Problems using Preview in the browser to set breakpoints

  I have Muse CC 2015 1.2.44.

  I do the tutorial of web site reagent in which the instructor shows how pin and set breakpoints.

  In this tutorial, she uses Site Preview in the browser as a way to drag the right edge along to see how the layout works in different widths. She has something she calls the browser tool, a little trick with a digital display which gives you the width of the browser, or the width of the page, where you drag it. It is a tiny digital display.

  When I preview, using Chrome, this gadget is not displayed, and the other pages of the site have tabs. Thus, even if the maximum size is set to 1200, the screen is filled.

  Any ideas on what this could be. I tried Firefox and it was worse.

  When you preview the site in a browser, it replicates how it will appear when published. It's something that you will need to add Muse does not add the Chrome extension used in the demo. Browser search width facing Extension Library.

  I have a newer version of DW CC in the old version, I used I click on a file, and then preview in the browser to get the URL of the link on my blog now, when I do it to point to local files instead of a URL to the remote site, I'm on the server remote when I click Preview in browser... any help you can provide would be great.

  Preview in the browser is always on-site.

  To view the files on the remote server, you must download the files (UP ARROW) and direct your browser the remote URL.

  Hello

  I have issues with the placement of the elements, or should I say especially when it comes to preview in a browser like Safari or Chrome.  Things seem to be correct in the on-line display of the Dreamweaver CC.  Is there something wrong with my code?  I have also validated HTML and CSS property.  I have attached a screenshot to show how it is a little screen.  I did my best to learn some CSS through lynda.com. But I don't know that I'm doing something wrong.

  A link to your page online would be more productive, then we could see what you see in a browser.

  It might have something to do with the preferences of your browser (Zoom should be 100% or normal).

  Negative margins are an invitation to problems.  I want to stay clear of it until you have more experience and understand the consequences.

  Another thing, use no special characters or spaces in your file names.  On the web, this can cause the rendered image & file path problems.

  Rename this file: sergei & .png sergei_temple or sergei-temple temple but do not use the ampersand special character that is not valid.  It goes the same for movie%20icon.svg (remove space which is converted to % 20).

  Hi, I'm almost done my site until today, whenever he I Preview in a browser it worked without problem. The preview in muse function works well, but as soon as I saw in the browser or export the HTML, there is missing content such as images, scroll the missing effects, slideshows missing and most of the bottom of the page is missing.   You can make a color hex "pipette" very fast easy on a Mac.

  First of all, download this:

  http://wafflesoftware.NET/hexpicker/

  It adds the functionality of hexadecimal color to ColorPicker.

  Then open the Script Editor and enter the two words: choose color

  Save as an application (this creates a stand alone ColorPicker).

  Launch.

  Select the mirror of ColorPicker icon, the cursor and click anywhere to get a hexadecimal color value.

  I think that there is probably a way to make this app always float. If someone could put the AppleScript for this, I would be very happy.

• How can I get the preview in the browser icon while I'm coding in HTML or CSS?

  on the iMac to my college, they have a small preview in browser icon that appears in the upper right of the file, which I am.  I want this little icon appears on my licensed copy of CC 2015 of Dreamweaver on my MacBook Pro.  How can I do to do that.  I know that the long command, which is the file, preview in browser.  But there MUST be a way I can get this small preview in the browser icon is displayed while I'm coding in HTML or CSS.  If any of you guys, who are advanced & experienced Dreamweaver users in the creation of Web sites, please let me know.  I am currently in an Introduction to the development of sites Web I University of the Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne (IPFW).
