• IPad - problem of AVI file

  I recently bought a camera of the fauna which records AVI video files. Once converted, the intelligent use of the Pro converter for - iPad.m4v files, I can play the files on my Mac desktop. However when I transfer the converted files (copied to an SD card using an Apple camera connection kit) on my iPad air he does not see them, and I'm unable to transfer them or read them on my iPad.

  Why play the files converted on my Mac BUT not on my iPad? Please, can someone advise if it is possible to overcome this problem.

  I understand that there is a problem of codec with iPad playback of AVI files, that's why they need to be converted BUT even when the files are converted, they do still have no game on the iPad...

  You can use the free program handbrake to convert the media in other codecs to work with your ios device

  rather than relying on the somewhat limited use feature import connection cam then synchronize using iTunes to ios device

• Preview Finder problem

  OK, I have a problem and I think I somehow diagnosed as a problem rather than a question of finder adobe.

  In the Finder when I open a window and have the preview mode I get the display overview well illustrated.

  

  If I am in adobe illustrator and I try to open the same exact file that adobe finder window is not displayed correctly, it creates a huge space between the files and it is quite difficult to view previews.

  

  Anyone know what could be the cause, or at least to solve this problem?

  I use a MacBook Pro retina 2014, Yosemite OS X. The screen is not used on the retina it is hooked to a 27 "Phillips HD monitor and a Cintiq of Wacom 22HD tablet.

  I wonder if being different to the computer display screens causes a problem, but it works very well in the window of the regular finder looks so strange.

  Please search the Forum. This has been discussed at least once a week for the last year.

  Do not use the column view. Use the display of the list. To preview select the file and press the space bar. Work within dialog boxes.

• Lightroom 5.6, white with preview display problem!

  Probably just a corrupt monitor profile - try recalibration, or by assigning the sRGB profile, then by restarting your computer/Lightroom.

• Display of the PDF in preview handset problems

  I mainly work on Photoshop CS5.  All my work is it created.  My problem arises when it is create and watch a compressed PDF using "Preview" on the Macintosh.  The text is very funky.  But as expected, Acrobat itself displays all files without flaw.  My creation of PDF workflow is as follows.

  1. except Photoshop document (s) for individual of the Photoshop PDF, without diapers so I keep a single image and vector data. (I have always resize and save my documents in the intended use appropiately.  I keep all minimum file sizes when you create a document for the use of electronic mail.)

  2. with the help of Acrobat, I combine/merge my files, select the compression method suitable for the intended use (Small, Medium, Large)

  When I use the average compression in Acrobat, I encounter no problem through "Preview".  All of my text appears as it should.  Works fine, but I find myself with a 26 MB file.

  When I use the low compression in Acrobat (recommended for e-mail), I have all sorts of problems with my text in 'Preview '.  I use this option because my file sizes are half what they are in average compression.

  I know that "Preview" is not a replacement for Acrobat, but default Mac application for the opening of PDF files is "Preview", and many users that I deal with are not equipped with any Adobe software.  Is there a solution?  What is Acrobat when it compresses files for emailing?

  

  I would add that the small version that does not display the text always contains the text (I'm able to select), it is not visible.

  The problem no is not with what Acrobat is scrapped, but does seen Mac with available data. The problem is with preview. You can't have a scholarship of silk with the ear of the sow. If preview is doing a terrible job rendered pdf perfectly well, that the player will display properly, there is nothing that adobe can do.

• Preview iPad question

  Hi, apologies if this has been asked before, but is it possible to give the user a preview of the magazine you expect to buy on Apple booth? At the moment, it seems to be limited to coverage. It would be good to allow user 'flick' by the magazine in miniature style to give them an impression of what inside (like the newsstand in a store). Looks like that other publishing software provide this functionality.

  And part B of the question is, if I have a problem of free (for the user) sample of my paid problems, I suppose I must pay for folio for each downloaded free sample download?

  For part of your question, no, it is not possible currently to offer a glimpse of a folio of payroll (whether through thumbnails of playback of content or part of a part of the content).

  For part B of your question, Yes, free folios count against the download cost. You can read more about it in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4064294#4064294. Bob has provided a good set of responses around the work of folios free how, particularly in regard to the issues of multiple publications and the iTunes store.

• Preview browser problem

  I have four major browsers is entered in my section "Preview/debug in browser". However, the only ones who seem to be working what are my primary and secondary. If I want mode seen in the other two, they just pop up in my main browser. Here is my set up as - is

  What do you call GDP? Tell you that if you do:

  File > Preview in browser > Netscape 8

  that your page opens to the opera (not Netscape 8)?

  Note that if this is the case, you can manually change the entry for
  Netscape 8 and all browsers with this behavior to fix.

• turns out iPad problem

  OK, so a few hours ago, I decided to change the system turns out to hunagrien. immenditly, I changed it to English. but here's where the problem comes in. the keyboard is still in Hungarian! What should I do? I have hard reset it several times but remains comtinues. Place help!

  My brother has an iPad Air and he put a wrong e-mail address in iCloud.  He has reset the iPad to factory settings and now has activation lock.  He can't put the password because the email does not exist, so there is no real password.  Any help?

  It is the first owner of the device, it can take the iPad and the original receipt for a physical to have Apple Store support.

  I have a MacBook Pro laptop, HP Officejet 6500 all-in-One Printer - E709a & iPad.  I have configured printing wireless for my laptop, but not get iPad to discover my wireless printer.  I upgraded my software via HP - Mac OSX 10.6, & I still can't my iPad to recognize my wireless printer.

  It could be your router.  What router are you using?

  Restart the router by pulling on the plug temporarily and try again.

• Preview iPad shows Magenta Overlay on Photo

  When you transfer a folio of DPS in InDesignCC, the photo at the bottom of the page has a superposition of magenta. The picture on top is fine. There is nothing different between photos (size, color, space etc.). The InDesign page is well-formed and the photo in question is placed and connected as it should be. The thumbnail on the list of the content seems OK, but when you click on it for more great view t appear magenta. See attached picture.

  Try opening the photo in Photoshop and save it to a different format and then place them again in your document.

  I remember having weird problems with images, but not exactly like this.

• Preview fonts problem

  I have problem with police costume (from web fonts, of course) - open without. If I choose this policy I can't see properly in Chrome. I don't know why. My police - is lowest if the police must be very thin, but it's not.

  Have you had similar problems?

  It's very simple bug and workaround is as simple as changing one line in the output html file. For some reason any police Edge is not added to propersly, for example, it is

  Some time is should be

  In other words, only a single weight seems to be added for a glimpse and you add what you need yourself.

  Edit: the idea is to go to the fonts Adobe Edge Web page and find the right code it

• display iPad problem

  Files for "cutting" in bottom of screen background photo. Now, they are all solid gray.  Is there a display setting that I forgot?

  Try these general steps. They could help.

  1 reset your iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake and home buttons.

  2 disconnect you from your iCloud account and reconnect again.

• Download folio for iPad problems

  I did a folio with the InDesign CS5 and Folio Builder (7.0.4 also works.. :).)

  When I check my Acrobat.com folio, I see everything I've done.

  But:

  I can't publish this folio, althougt I should publish 1 folio for free

  and when I log in the Adobe Content Viewer, I see the folio

  There is the download button and it saids: free.

  But when I download, I get a message something like:

  Error when downloading

  Cannot start download because the file is missing or illegal.

  I get in Dutch:

  Doing tijdens downloaden

  Kan het niet starten downloaden

  omdat het bestand Land of

  Ongeldig is.

  Everyone is a solution?

  The new Viewer works well but attention... you will not be able to use the sideloading feature longer.
