Print job never ends

"I have a model HP OfficeJet Pro L7780 all-in-one ' Windows Vista 64-bit: the print job never ends when Intuit Quicken printing.

I finally got the problem solved with the help of community forums to Quicken Online. This problem of IIAs Quicken/Intuit through this site.

I had to install another printer - HP 990c - to the same network as the dektop C6380 printer port. (I named it Quicken 990C.) If I print from Quicken to THIS printer, things come out OK.

Why can I not print - can send documents to the printer.  checked problems for the spooler, changed the new cartridges in the printer and checked if it is set to the right printer - documents are still in the waiting mode, waiting so he could be treated.

I found the simple solution to your problem, but the credit goes to R. Thompson to social.technet.microsoft.com in the Forum:

These steps work on Vista and Win7, I don't know about other versions.

"Go through the following steps to delete 'deleted' print queue print jobs."

    (1) go to the control panel

    (2) select system and Maintenance

    (3) select administrative tools

    4) double-click on Services

    (5) in the services list, scroll down until you find one called "print spooler".

    (6) make a right clic on "Print spooler" and "restart".

  • 4508 ENVY: ENVY 4508 firefox launched the print job hangs in the print queue

    Hello

We have a desire 4508 connected via wifi to a laptop 10 (x 64) Windows.

We downloaded and installed the latest drivers available on HP and printers generally LibreOffice, WordPad or Firefox (normal web pages).

But there is a situation when printing fails and we do not know why: If we try to print accounting information for the bank account, the print job is displayed in the windows printer queue but it stucks and blocks the other print jobs. The only way to get the printer to work is once again the restarting the printer spool service and removal of the print job in the queue (which sounds easier than it is actually...).

We already ran this 'Doctor Print' application provided by HP, but it helps not at all.

    Is this a known issue?

Is it related to the driver or more likely a problem of the web page in question / feel?

How can I get more information about what exactly is going wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

  • want to 4502: incomplete print jobs

Hello. Recently bought a 4502 everything was fine. I now have the problem of being incomplete print jobs. For example, I wanted to print four pages of bank records using pdf/print but it printed only two and a half years. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer using the cd I got with the product but no change.

I'm on a desktop computer running windows 8.1 and connect wireless. You have an idea on how to solve this problem?

    Hello

You have an email after asking the fix?

Don't forget to follow the download link to this e-mail within the Package section towards the end of the mail.

If this does not work, follow these steps to work around the problem:

-Open the HP software by clicking on the HP Envy 4500 icon in the desktop or the Start Menu, and then click on the link to the Home Page of the printer (EWS).
    -Click on the network tab.
-According to the model of your printer, click Network, click Network (IP) address or click IPv4 in the active network connection type.
-Manuel IP-click and then click on suggest a manual IP address. An IP address manually, the subnet mask and default gateway shows.
    * Be sure to take note of the IP address and confirm the changes, and then close the EWS page.
-Click the HP Envy 4500 icon on the desktop or the Start Menu and click the utilities tab, and then click Update IP address.
-Type the IP address that is configured manually, click on save and confirm.
-Open the control panel and go to devices and printers.
-Right click on the HP Envy 4500 icon and select printer properties.
    -Open the Ports tab.
-Click on the button Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP and click New Port.
-Follow the procedure by typing the IP address that is configured manually and confirm the changes.

Now try printing and check if the problem solved.

    Kind regards
    Shlomi

    Hi Gregory_Mi,

    Thank you for your answer!

I recommend to use our HP print and Scan Doctorand let me know what happens!

If this does not resolve the problem, consider replacing ink cartridges refilled with genuine HP ink cartridges. This way, we will know if the problem is with the cartridges themselves.

  • Cannot delete a print job on printer nonreal

I have a printer in my devices having a print job.

The printer does not exist, of course, it is used offline.

I tried to eliminate the print job, but he says his removal but never do.

I tried to restart the print spooler, nothing.

I can 'delete device', but the printer is back with the same pending print job.  After 5 seconds.

I can't turn off the printer as the printer does not exist.

I can change the direction of the printer there is no printing in a file.  But it does not work.

I can change the settings of the printer does not exist

I tried HP scanner doctor, but the program keeps asking me where I want to connect the printer.  He finds the printer does not exist, but doesn't let me go.  I want just the printer GONE.  If the program does not help.  I even said I want to be somewhere.

    Help, please.

  • LaserJet MFP M127fw Pro: Scanning but does not print: print jobs that are just sitting in the queue

I tried several fixes and nothing has worked.

Uninstalling the software and printer and reinstalled from scratch.  Can see and scan, but never leave print jobs queue on the laptop

HP Print ran and doctor Scan.  Could not get out print job, it becomes its own test in-house printer print

I use wireless.  I tried as well to turn off wireless and use the wire and still get the same results.

    Hello

I think you need to delete the queue. For Windows, try it please:

Hold down the Windows key and press R.
from the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.
If the computer asks you to Admin, you have to accept that,
regarder watch down to the print spooler service, right-click and select Properties
    Click the Stop button,
    Go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers
delete the job inside this folder
    restart the machine.

    Kind regards.

  • HP envy 110: hp envy 110 will accomplish the print job

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron with Windows 8.1.  I connected wirelessly with HP Envy 110.  It is very inconsistent on whether she completed print jobs.  The questions comes with several documents pages, if I print single-sided or double-sided.  Sometimes it works, more often than otherwise it doesn't.  I previous had a HP laptop works wireless with the same printer - no problem.

  • OfficeJet 4500 510n - print jobs stuck in the queue when using wireless

    Hello

I bought just a new Officejet 4500 510n yesterday and I have a Dell with Windows 7 64 bit laptop that I connect to the USB or wireless. The reason for this is that sometimes, the laptop is not right next to the printer and we need to print things (for example, my wife works upstairs sometimes with the laptop and the printer is downstairs in the living room). I was able to get the configuration of the printer on both the wireless and USB without any major problems and it prints fine when I print via USB. However, when I print wireless, the print job appears in the queue and shows that it is printing, but he never curls work all the way. The work gets "stuck" while waiting in line, for example, it gets stuck at 772 bytes of 940 bytes

I downloaded the HP Print Diagnostic here tool and ran it and and it passed all the tests first time. However, when I goto the last test, which is to print the test page, it sends the print job to the queue and then everything gets stuck as indicated above. I was able to cancel the job and it comes off very well, but restarting the work does not work, it just get stuck again. Meanwhile, I don't get ANY error messages at all.

Here's what I've done regarding troubleshooting:

    -Ping the printer - spent

-Restart the service print spooler - no change to the problem

-Check that the printer is set as deafult - spent

-Update of HP Ran to ensure there is no missing updates - found 2 updates and install them

None of the above has solved the problem, so I'mm this ad here in the hope that someone may have had this problem before and fixed it.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the reply.

It turns out that I could solve it myself. I went to add the printer wireless on another laptop, I have here on my home network and it printed a page of test very well, so I thought it must have been a bad installation on the main laptop.  I removed everything and reinstalled as a wireless printer, and it worked perfectly. Amazing what can make a bad installation.

  • Cancel print job

Cannot cancel a print job. Asking me to find Notification and he's not here.

Windows 7 automatically hides most of the icons that would normally show in the Notification area.

If you click the arrow at the left end of the Notification area:

you will see all of the icons:

If there is no printer icon, and follow the instructions in my second post, listed below:

    • Go to start > devices and printers
    • Right-click on the icon for the printer in question
    • Select 'see what's printing.
    • Either select the menu "Printer" and 'Cancel all Documents' or select the job in question, click on the "Documents" menu and select "Cancel".

If there is no icon even if a print job is printing (printer icons may not appear while a print job is in progress or print), see--> https://files.support.epson.com/htmldocs/wf7510/wf7510ug/source/printers/source/troubleshooting/reference/wp4540_30_20/problem_no_print_icon_wp4540_30_20.html

This 'solution' is not specifically for your printer, but it's Epson; I don't know if the Epson software for your printer has the same features.

  • Windows 7 - cannot delete a print job.

I have two problems with my Windows 7 computer to print to my hp LaserJet 4 printer P.   This is the first of the two.  My 4 p of hp printer has a standard printer to the rear connector of the it, and I have in the past plugged into my computer printer LPT1 outlet.  My computer hp Pavilion (a1520n), however, does not a LPT1 port, so I use a USB-to-printer cable as the way to send jobs to print on my printer.   I've never had this problem before with this printer when he ran with Windows 98, and Windows XP (with LPT1-to-printer cable).

    (1) first problem: Windows 7 will not delete my print jobs, or only partially removes them.  When I go to "Devices and printers" and then click on my icon of the printer hp - 4 p and then click on the "See what's printing" on it, I get a window up, which shows print jobs (same window base as in XP, other earlier operating systems).  I then click on the print job I want to delete and then click on ' printer-> cancel all Documents. "  Windows 7 does not delete it.

I read the other posts in this forum for the removal of print jobs and in any case, I need to do something extraordinary, and it only works for a print job - so it must be done for each print job I want to remove.   Things like type a series of commands in the immediate window, or go delete everything in the printer spooler file, and then restart the computer.  Although they operate (allegedly), they seem to be extremely clumsy ways to have this address for each print job fails.

Is there a better, easier, way to do this - as defined a parameter in Windows 7 to a different value?   Anyone has any ideas on this?

    Thank you.

    Hello Sheyenne,

Thank you for an assignment in Microsoft communities.
I can understand how frustrating it can be when things do not work as expected.

The probable cause of this problem could be due to use a parallel port for the USB adapter for printing.
This is because the printer works on another USB port where it has been defined, or you are using a USB hub.

You can solve this extra Pages S1M printing problem by disabling bidirectional support:

    1. press Windows + X key together on the keyboard button.
    2. Select Control Panel.
    3. do the small icons display and select devices and printers.
4 right-click right your printer, choose Properties
    5. go to the ports tab.
    6. click on Enable bidirectional support.
Note: Your printer must be switched on before printing.

These steps stop print extra page "S1M.

To delete and remove the impression spooler steps:

    1. click on the Windows button in the lower left corner of the screen. Select "Control Panel", then "hardware and sound" then on "printers".

    2. double-click on the icon of the printer to which you sent the print job. Find the print job from the list that opens, right-click on it and select "Cancel".
    3. press the button 'Cancel' on the control panel of the printer if employment still doesn't come off the spool. Turn the printer off, and then on to see if that removes the print job.

    4. clear the whole spooler by clicking the Windows icon, and then type "command". Right-click on "Command prompt", then click "Run as Administrator".

    5. Type "net stop spooler" and press "enter." Type "del % systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\*/Q" and then press "Enter".

    6. Type "net start spooler", then press "enter". Type 'exit' and press 'Enter' to close the command prompt window.
