The people who answer questions here are, for the most part, volunteers who have no connection with Microsoft.  Ask your question every two minutes won't get you a faster response.

Often, but not always, the symptoms you describe are caused by a corrupt print job stuck in the queue or a damaged printer driver.  However before you clean things up, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

    AntiMailware MalwareBytes
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

    Cleaning of printers

NOTE: If after completing step has the spooler print don't rest not always running after you launched the command "net start spooler", follow these steps

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following line in the black command prompt window
dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS
    net start spooler

If the spooler still will not start, you will not be able to follow all the steps in "First Article".  Instead, go to the other link and download and get and use the utility 'cleanspl' such as described here.

    A. Clean on print jobs pending

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line

    net stop spooler
    del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
    net start spooler
    output

    B. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article.  If you have (or had) a Lexmark printer, follow the instructions on the following site before installing the new drivers, as explained in its first Article: http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

    Original title - print spooler

I received a message stating that my print spooler is disabled after that I had to reformat my new machine, Windows 8. How do I turn this thing? Sorry to be a Luddite.

    Steve,

What printer you are using? What is the model?

Which printer driver you installed on the computer? He received by the manufacturer of the printer?

    Try this:

Open Services by typing "Services.msc" in the Run command window and clickin on 'Ok '.

Double click on "Printer Spooler" Services listed there.

Click on stop, click OK and go to '% WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers' and all delete this folder.

Now again go to Services.msc and start the Printer Spooler service and change the startup as "Automatic" Type

Click Ok and restart the computer and check.

  • printer is not working, "the print spooler service is disabled" when it is not

    Hello

I received a message that my pc required for the loading of driver software for a new unknown device, although I had nothing added.

Now, I find that my printer is not working.

I tried to accept the "locate and install driver software" message, but it does not work.

I tried to uninstall the printer driver so that I can reinstall them, but I get a message that the uninstallation was failure because the print spooler service is disabled.

I checked the print spooler service is set to auto & seems to be on.

Would appreciate any opinion appropriate for a no no very savvy tech.

    Thank you

This could be the reason why you do not see the printer in the Control Panel, printers. Try this, go to control panel, printers, if you see the printer listed to remove it. If you don't see the printer, the service could stop, go to services then and click on "Restart the service" (blue link top left), then go back to printing, its listed hopely now and you can remove it (right click). Now try to reinstall the printer.

If that doesn't work try the system restore, restore to a date when the printer works fine.

  • LEXBCE went out of the CPP and the print spooler

I have a friend who had both a Lexmark printer and later a Dell that uses the Lexmark drivers.  He was trying to install a new printer but found that the print spooler would not start as one of its dependencies was the Lexbce service that obviously has not subscribed when older printers have been uninstalled.  I went through the operating system with the search utility are looking for and removing all the lexbce *. * files.  Six were found and removed.  I also went through the registry to find all references to lexbce and come out as well.  I also went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet001, ControlSet002, and CurrentControSet find and remove references to the Lexbce service and remove the framework of dependency for her in the print spooler service keys.  It was the only way I could find a way to extract it from its BONES.  Disabling this service did not communicate the print spooler to be used by another printer.

As a result now the RpcSs service, one that depends on the spooler starts and no buttons Start, Stop, Reset or disable are available in the properties for this service.  I must have taken out too or I deleted the files from the lexbce service acted instead the normal OS files.

Is it possible to restore the RpcSs service?  Maybe a repair reinstall?  A direct copy of the files from another XP Pro OS?

Thanks a lot for everyone help out there.

I'm sorry that I've seen this post earlier.  It is actually very easy to get rid of addiction that install Lexmark printer (and Dell/Lexmark) create.

From a command prompt, type the following command

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

Now that you have mucked the registry, however, you will probably save time and aggravation by performing a repair install (if you can not the RPC service to start, much more that the print spooler will be broken).  See the full list of dependent services RPCSS here: http://www.blackviper.com/wiki/Remote_Procedure_Call_%28RPC%29

  • Printer Spooler service

I can't use my printer.  I get an error message "Print Spooler Service does not.

Try to go in... Start button > run > type msconfig... and see if you disabled somehow.

You can also try to do a right-click on the icon of your workstation on your desktop... then click on Manage... then on Services and Applications. At this point, look in the right part of the window and look for print spooler. If it is not in the started state or running, highlight it with your mouse... and you should see an option in the start window.

  • print spooler does not properly

Running 64-bit Windows Home Premium.  A few days ago, I noticed that I was unable to print.  Thinking he didn't have my printer, I bought a new Brother 2240 with a USB connection and installed with the drivers.  I wasn't always able to print.  The document would show the printer as "Deleted-sent to the printer" status, but the printer never received.  The printer itself works fine - print diagnostic was printed OK.  According to the state flags, the printer and the computer were in communication status ok - the printer status applet showed 'ready' and 'sleep' status properly.  In Device Manager, the printer and the USB print display port works correctly.

I took ownership of the printer to "Print directly to the printer" instead of "spool print documents...". "and was able to print correctly.  I stopped and restarted the print spooler service, set the printer to the coil, but nothing helped.  I get no error message any... just documents hang with the status "deletion-sent to the printer.

It seems to me that the print spooler itself does not work properly.  Is there a way to reinstall without doing a full Windows reinstall (horror of horrors!)

Try this: (you will need administrator privileges)

    1. open the menu start (lower-left) and click on 'Control Panel'.

    2. open the programs and features"" section.

3 click on the link "turn Windows features On or Off" on the left.

    4. scroll down and look around an option "print spooler". It may be in another group, so expand each of them.

    5. uncheck the disable and complete the wizard.

    6. all the steps, but this time select it. You practically have reinstalled your print spooler. See if that fixes the problem.

  • Vista print spooler stops

The print in Vista spooler stops when I try to print. He said the strategy adopted by the DEP. All printers disappear. I have to manually restart the spooler service (it is set for the recovery of the car) and it can print for a bit, but the spooler stops again.

    Hello

Since it is a DEP issue with a printer that could be a problem of IE (which concern Explorer and other functions of the system),
a spooler problem, or both. Frankly I don't know that I have 1 but I'd probably use these
    Methods.

The problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
    1st.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK

    not better?

Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all

    run as a scanner.

    I would add prevx so.

  • Printer spooler stops

I'm trying to get my printer to print. I get an error that the local spooler service is not running.
I went through steps to restart the spooler (see below) service. But it stops immediately again when I try to print

    1. click on START
    2. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result (it only takes a)
    and select "Run as Administrator"
    3. type net stop spooler and press enter
    4. once the service is stopped, it confirms, wait 10 seconds
10:05 seconds, type net start spooler and press enter
    6. wait 10 seconds and then check again the impression that it should have disappeared

    Hello

Use this method to clear the spooler and then uninstall and reinstall your printer (check with the manufacturer for)
    the latest driver).
