print spooler starts whenever I start it
I run Windows Vista and every tax season, I load a tax software. I tried different. Everything works find until I try to print. during printing works an error message comes up, (the print spooler has stopped working). So I go to administrative tools, then services to restart the print spooler. Right now his starts, and soon after it stops working. Restart causes the same cycle. This is the third year, he did. How can I fix the problem forever.

Windows 7 - print spooler starts is not after the October 14 update
I have a HP pavilian HPE running Windows 7 professional 64-bit. After that the windows updates were installed on 14 October, the print spooler service does not start. So yesterday I used the system restore to go back, and the problem was solved. Today, I removed some old print drivers and re-installed updates, and now the print spooler service does not start again.
What should do?

1053 error print spooler does not start
Hi I have a HP Photosmart C4783 and all of a sudden, I can't print more.
I tried to restart the coil, but it's just for me that error 1053 and some blah on demand does not in a timely fashion.
I went into System 32 to ensure that spool.exe is still there and it is.
I am running windows 7 64 bit and all updates, including the printer are up-to-date.
Everything was fine until a few days ago and I have no new hardware or software installed.
It's really boring it would be great if someone has an answer that does not include trawl by a thousand other items that suggest the reboot of the coil.
Thank you guys.
If you get error 1053 when print spooler starts, it is usually a problem with the operating system itself. However, I have something I would like you to try as a way to get the spooler to start.
- Open the command run by selecting it from the start menu or by pressing the Windows key (to the left of the alt) + R
- Type services.msc and press enter
- Scroll down and double click on print spooler
- Select the tab log
- Uncheck the Allow service to interact with desktop
- Click apply
- Select the general tab for the print spooler, and then select start
This becomes the print spooler to start successfully?

I have windows vista and I cannot restart my spooler service. My printer installs fine, but I'm not allowed to use it as a printer. The scan function works fine. I tried using the methods described here
but were unsuccessful. ->
To change or restart the print spooler serviceYou must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.
Open administrative tools by clicking the start , clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.
Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties.
On the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.
If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Print spooler problem? Uh, maybe?
If I have problems with a printer/plotter that I added to my Vista laptop.
Whenever I have send a file "print", it starts up and about 3 seconds in the file, just tracer stops and the error file in the print queue. I do not know if it is a mistake of the coil, but it shows me nothing about the problem. He stops, then finally the status changes to 'error' and happens again and again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. This tracer works perfectly on an old Dell XP I use so I know that's not the plotter.
I not even looked to see if WinPrint (print processor) usually caused this kind of problem, but couldn't find anything about it. I'm not super tech savvy. It drives me crazy!

Error 1053 of the print spooler for HP Officejet 6500 a Plus All in One printer
I get this error every time I try to install this printer. When I try to start the spooler in Services file, this error pops up. I ran a diagnostic and found that there may be errors of registry key in some files, but I don't kn Ow how to get rid of them. I tried every way start the print spooler, but he won't let me. Other diagnostic tools do not work because I can't even install the printer of dam. Help!
The print spooler is a Microsoft services so that they would be the best people to talk to. Most likely, the registry keys for the print spooler has not installed right. My advice would be to format and reinstall the OS, but you can see what Microsoft has to say before doing this. They may know a solution for this specific error. Here is a link to a discussion I found on Microsoft Community on this issue. I hope this helps.

Print spooler does not. Unable to use printer
Cannot print. Cannot add a printer. Can't download new drivers. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOLSV. EXE is a program that does not work.
Quote from: http://snipurl.com/1mdayq [www_eventid_net]
From a newsgroup post: "it seems that the print spooler does not and that it was impossible (or not configured to) restart itself.» When the print spooler does not work, printers will be not visible in the Printers folder, and you will not be able to add a new printer. A number of things could cause the print spooler to fail. It's corrupt print jobs, incompatible or problematic printer drivers or port monitors, corrupted file or disc and even other applications or processes interfering with the spooler in memory. If you try to manually restart the print spooler and it fails immediately, he may be trying to process a print job corrupted after the start. It is a common cause for the print spooler failures that occur immediately. If the print spooler starts and printing features returns for a while before a failure once again, then a monitor driver or the port is probably the cause of the problem.
To remove print spooling jobs that could cause this problem, simply remove (or remove) the files with the extension ".spl" or ".shd' of the location of the coil when the print spooler is stopped. This place is typically "c:\
\system32\spool\printers" (it might have been edited manually). Once the existing spool files have been deleted, try to restart the print spooler again to see if it works normally. If there is no (.shd or .spl files) spooling print jobs, or remove the old spooling print jobs does not change the behavior, a port monitor or driver may be to blame.
