Printer HP Officejet 6100; Win 7; Access the ink cartridges
Printer HP Officejet 6100; Win 7; If the ink cartridge access door is opened with the printer, the cartridge printheads do not change access. No error reported.
Well, couple of questions:
First, they move with the door closed while printing, I want to say it actually prints, which would indicate that the transport is not stuck on the side? If it does not move, it may be blocked behind the paper or something inside the printer. It is not recommended to reach into the printer.
Second, is there an indication (light/message) which shows the door is actually open? Otherwise, there is a tab inside the right side of the door near the label to ink cartridge number? It is located on the edge of the door, and goes into the printer indicating open or closed to the printer.
If all this seems correct, try a hard reset on the printer. Powered on, unplug the power cord of the printer, wait at least 30 seconds, then plug the power supply cord. Turn on the printer and see if it will allow access to the cartridges.

has a great. My son worked hard a yuear there to get this printer working... He changed the cartridges of ink a couble of day and now it is not printing. We tried to realign the heads but it come as "Failed" to align on the screen... Please any suggestions.
Ok. Once remove you / reinstall the print head, try to clean the printheads via the printer software.
If it does not, the new print heads are about $95 or you can taste (unofficial) cleaning procedures listed on these forums. Search for them.

printer all-in-one PSC 1315: check the ink cartridge light flashes
the last time I printed the page came out very laboriously and slowly. The next time I turned on the print cartridge check printer is flashing. My specific request is the medium that contains the cartridges is a little loose (up and down) approximately 1/16 "or more. Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any advice...
It is normal that there is to play in the transport. Slow printing is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges. The document here may help address the error lights.

Printer HP Officejet 6100 (h611a) can not find the WiFi network
My printer HP Officejet 6100 has recently lost its eprint connection and would not reconnect. I asked for help and told
try to use an IP address manually. I tried this according to the instructions provided to me for the manual IP address, subnet mask and so on. I selected apply.
The restarted printer and now the printer cannot be found or will not connect to my
wireless network.
I tried to power on the printer, the modem and the router so that it would reset but the printer would not still find or connect to the wireless network. The little blue light on the printer for wireless connection just continues to blink.
Because it connects to the wireless network I can not go back in the server web part to cancel the IP address manually and other changes.
Is there a way I can reset this? Or get my printer to connect to the wireless network.
Steve

OfficeJet Pro 8500 depleted a color ink cartridges - printer will print not except if replaced
When one of my color ink cartridges is empty ink, my printer does not print until the ink cartridge is replaced. Of course, I go out and buy new and install it then get the message that another cartridge needs to be replaced!
I only print in black ink in all cases. Is it possible to print only black ink without replacing color cartridges are empty ink?
In addition, if a color is exhausted, I should automaticall replace all color cartridges?
Operating system: Windows XP
Officejet 8500 printers individual ink cartridges (IIC); This machine requires that all cartridges to be installed to ensure that the printhead not damaged. In the printer, the ink is used not only for printing, but retain the printer and the print head. We can reduce the amount of color ink, the printer uses by changing the print in grayscale settings or use black ink only. Page 34 of the Manual shows how to change these settings when you print the documents. For more information on how the ink is used in the printer; It can be considered as this page here where he goes into detail about the different ways that ink is used in the printer.
I would just replace the color cartridge the printer says needs replacement when the machine alerts you of low ink. I would replace all the colors at a time when only needs replacement.
I hope this helps. -
I have an all-in-one Photosmart 7510. My slides print head is no longer the center when I open the printer to change the ink cartridges. It remains in place on the right side. I can't access the cartridges. Otherwise, the printer can print pages without problem - it is not blocked when printing. I have had this printer for during 9 months - it is a new problem.
Thanks, but I returned the printer for a replacement - it was still under warranty.

Photosmart HP 5510 will be not printed black before and after you installed the new cartridge. The specified controls did.
Yes, I was referring to manually clean the print head. I see that the 5510 lacks the possibility of leaving the print head manually.
You can click on the menu of your SETUP program on your screen and go to TOOLS and clean the print head from there.
If this does not resolve your problem, you may need to replace the print head.
Contact HP Total Care (1800-474-6836), and if your unit is under warranty, its free.
Let me know if this can help, thank you. -

I can't go to my printer. It will not recognize the ink cartridges are full!
My epson 7400 has not been used for 6 months. I cleaned and aligned the nozzles and it used 2 full cartridges. I installed new ink cartridges, and he says they are empty. Now none of the buttons work, it does not seem to recognize all commands. What should I do?
Hello
Turn the printer off
Unplug the printer from the computer and the wall outlet
Reinstall the cartridges
Support all the ink cartridges until they snap into place to make sure that they are well housed
Close the cartridge cover and push it down until it snaps
Close the scanner
Press on the Stop button to start loading of ink. It takes about 2 minutes.
When the the light stops flashing and remains on, the ink load is complete
Caution: Never turn off the Epson Stylus CX while ink is in charge or you'll be wasting ink.
If the ink light flashes, press on the Stop button and lower all the cartridges safely
Manually clean the print heads
Plug the printer into the wall outlet and the computer. Turn it on and try printing again.

Office Jet 6500 will not print after changing the ink cartridges
Hello
This doesn't seem to be a problem with the printer itself and not Windows. I also suggest to contact the manufacturer. In this case, HP.

When traveling in a car, what care should be taken with the ink cartridges
Win XP
HP deskjet 1000 j110
When I take this printer on a road trip (700-1000 miles), should I remove the ink cartridges (type 61)?
No, the cartridges should be left in the printer. For best results keep the printer out of direct sunlight and avoid large temperature extremes as much as possible. Also keep the printer in a standing position, avoid turning on the side or end.
