Printer wireless HP 7510

The IP address of my printer doesn't sync with either of my laptop.  Tried to get the new IP address of the printer and not fairly reflect "numbers", the printer has worked with computers etc.

  • Printer wireless HP 7510 goes - 4 station XP wireless network, w / 1 connected PC.

    Printer: HP 7510

Network: multi-user wireless through the DLink DI-632 (a PC connected to the router)

Address configuration: printer uses static IP - DHCP (192.168.15.240) outside

The printer config: each computer has static IP set in the Control Panel app, using the IP address.

Operating system: XP (Service Pack 3)

Other devices: Ipad, Xoom and Kindle Fire (work all use ePrint)

Protocol of network security: WEP (we are out of the country)

Network configuration: main router, as well as 2 (wired) access ports; currently using channels 1, 5 and 11 (again, we are in the country and have little competition for channels)

File Sharing: All machines on a network have a player to 'share' open, accessible with passwork.

Scenario: Wireless computers seem to stay connected for several days to a week at a time. (Restart us every week, just like a POS)

Computer that is connected to the network loses communication with the printer a couple of times a day and needs to be rebooted in order to re-establish the connection.

When this happens, other machines continue to print and scan, without any problem and the wired machine continues to have its name displayed in the SCAN on the printer control panel - but the printer won't talk to her.   All network functions, including internet and intranet access to SAP of the printer is always available.  I noticed that if I go in checking ink levels, however, that the ink control software behaves differently.

Normally in the application of the ink status, there is a small icon of 'work' with 6 points. When this computer is connected properly, it will start to jump around the circle, showing activity, get 41% and then view ink status info.  When connecting the printer and the computer does not work, the icon of 'work' will go to a few percent, then go to the information page printer, showing the brand, model, serial number, etc. level firmware.

In all cases to date, reboot (without any other action) brings the connection of the printer and the computer to life - until the next time.  I will try to find any other model of this behavior, just cannot identify it again.

I started with the installation of regular vanilla, but then all the computers on the network would always connections, about every 45 minutes. Using the info on this forum, I eliminated the dropouts for these printers and got static IP solutions (we did this anyway for the years with net lending machines).  It's the last machine which "falls" it seems that some piece of software that are required HP is 'stall' or began to hurt, but I can't see a model, same check and note the different software used locally on the computer and various Web sites visited. So far, no reason.

I hope the guru of the HP with access to the source for the software status "supply of ink" can take a look at what is happening and why always go to 41% and then view the status of the ink (when connected) and then just stop a few percent and view the status of ink (when it is not connected).

    Thank you, in advance,

    Jim

  • HP 7510 AIO printer won't connect - Wired workstation, printer wireless

Hello!  I'm talking about (and verified solution button) too early. The printer still "disappears" from the wired network XP workstation. The only difference as apply the given solution is that disconnect it now happening about every 12 hours, against every two hours.

Ink notification has the value "only when I print.

Static IP address is defined for all machines

HNDU works - when the printer is visible, but hangs at the workstation if the printer is not visible.

    Follow the original comments below;

Printer wireless HP 7510 goes - 4 station XP wireless network, w / 1 connected PC.

I think it's fixed now... the problem seems to lie in the module that will inform you immediately if the ink is low (vs only notify me when printing).  If, during the initial installation, the user selects 'immediately', then the printer will disappear randomly. (More on "re-find" later.)

In addition, it is difficult to change the notification of ink setting, because it doesn't seem to be 'sticky', but will sometimes flip. (I don't understand this yet).  As long as the 'notification of low ink' setting is on "only when printing", life is good.

If the printer does not disappear, go to the Advanced tab when the printer software/firmware page, instead of the current ink level.  Reset the selection on "tell me the notification of ink" to "only when printing" and then toggle the "autoshut off' from 'NEVER' to '2 hours' and then, finally, a return to '' NEVER. ''  Then, finally, press closed on the Panel.  Printer must be connected again. To test, returned to the Photosmart 7510 app and select "Show estimated ink levels".  The meter will start at 1%, to 41% and then bounce around until it displays the ink level.

FOR HP TECH: Please consider the "ink level notification" persisted to the registry OR to provide an of-install tool that will completely clean any prior installation of 7510 driver / app in the registry, to install a new can have this setting properly recorded.

Hope this helps some of you: it's a great printer after its running!

  • Direct print wirelessly from iPad Pro w/o third-party app?

I want from my iPad Pro laser-printing on a printer wireless to work. My corporate network, however, is not configured to allow wireless printing; I have to work around the network with a direct wireless printing. I know that a lot of printers don't support not this, but everyone I've studied requires a third-party printing application. I'm sure that it will work very well, but I don't trust the manufacturers of printers to continue to support these applications.

Is there a printer wireless laser available that I can print without a wifi network, directly from the iPad without a third party app?

    Thank you!

  • Need help with printing wireless and Air of printing

I have a Xerox printer connected to an Airport Express station and I was able to print wireless from my Mac. I just replaced the Xerox with a Brother printer which has built in WiFi and Air feel, although I can't get anything to work. I entered my password WiFi network directly on the printer. The instructions had me download the drivers that I did and I download a wireless configuration program that asked more than about nothing if I already entered my password of the WiFi network of the printer.

    1. I do not remember how I already had the Xerox facility to print wireless from my Mac. I just plugged a USB cable directly linking the Airport Express to the Brother printer to bypass the built in Brother WiFi and use the Airport Express for internet.

    2. any thoughts on the use of construction vs the Airport Express WiFi?

    3. what should I do do AirPrinting work?

    Thank you.

I use an Epson printer set up as AirPrint rather than as a brother, but I expect the two similar configurations.

All I had to do first was installing the printer on my network domestic wi - fi.

Then in system preferences > printers & Scanners

    Select Add printer

Select the printer and set its AirPrint and add

What printer model is Brother and in fact specifies that it is compatible AirPrint, or just a Wi - Fi connection?

  • Printer wireless HP Envy 4520: can't see the instructions on the screen after downloading the required software

I have an HP AMD A6-Series computer laptop with McCafee LiveSafe installed.  I am able to download and 'Run' the printer wireless driver software, but the instructions on the screen that are supposed to appear subsequently do not appear.

I tried to disable the Virus protection part and the McCafee software software (thinking it can work as a pop up blocker), but to no avail... Please help!

    Hi @scgoldman2003,

If the printer is already on the wireless network to which the computer is turned on, the computer must be able to see the printer wireless.

Here is a support document which can help to ensure that the printer is ready for installation wireless - wireless printer Installation.

If the wireless printer is not considered during installation this document can help - printer not found during Network Driver Setup (Windows).

  • Slow printing with HP printer wireless

I am trying to print on a HP B210a printer wireless (via Airport Extreme). The print dialog box indicates that I'm «connected to HPD8F456.local...» "but then it takes forever (sometimes days) for the actual document printing.

After having reinstalled the latest HP drivers, the printer worked fine and then (possibly after a reboot or two) came back to the same problem, which seems to persist if my Mac is connected to the network via Ethernet or Airport.

I'm using OS 10.5.8 with Aiport 5.6.1 and Airport Extreme utility 2nd gen.

  • do not print to the printer wireless network computers connected to wifi

Don't know if I'm in the right Forum but here goes.  I work in a dealership service department. I have 4 computers connected to our network. I just bought a pro m426fdw mfp laserjet 4 in 1 ad printer connected to our wifi system because there is no available ethernet jack to connect to the main network. Is there a way to allow my 4 computers send information about this printer wireless?

If you connected to your wireless network, and then run a report of network printer and find the ip address of the wireless connection. If you're in the list use to load the printer using add it printer, the local printer, create a port and the menu drop-down, choose standard tcp/ip and then follow the instructions on the screen. You can also try to load the disc that came with the printer and see if it will find the printer and load it for you.

  • Extremely slow printing wireless with HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m

I see extremely slow print speeds when printing from a Mac or a Windows XP system on a new printer HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m wireless. The printer starts printing immediately when I request a print, but it only prints one line. It will take about 15 minutes then to print the rest of the page, each print after a very long break line. Print demo page doesn't exhibit this problem, only documents of programs such as Word 2008, Safari, and Firefox (I tried firefox on PC and Mac) are affected.

If I connect to the printer via a USB connection it prints very well, so this problem seems to be the only wireless printing.

    Printer: HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m
Computer: Mac mini (late 2009 model) (also tried a Windows XP laptop, by comparison using the latest drivers from the HP website)
OS: Mac OS X 10.6.2 with all available updates installed
Method of connection: cable Ethernet connection to the router wireless
Printer drivers: version 2.2.1 (Apple provided, drivers HP never installed as system comes with 10.6)
Wireless router: Apple TimeCapsule (early 2009) 1 TB, honing a/d and modes of b/g on 2.4 and 5 GHz. TimeCapsule is in transition as the DSL modem handles DHCP service mode
Encryption: WPA2 Personal, no MAC filtering or hide the SSID.

IP addressing scheme: all addresses are distributed by the server DHCP without reservation of any kind

The TimeCapsule is sitting three inches from the printer and the printer indicates the complete signal. Connecting the printer to the wireless network and setup of the printer on the Mac went off without a hitch. Only when you print a test document discover us the problem. The wireless network will behave as expected when you access Internet from Mac and Windows devices (tested with a laptop computer Dell XP and a MacBook with OS X 10.6.2), so I don't see any problem with the wireless network together.

    Attempt to use:
1 reboot and power off, wait, restart the computer
2 reset the print subsystem, the printer off and on again and reinstall the printer

    3. disconnect the power to the printer and let it sit for several minutes before trying to print wireless.

    None of them worked.

I don't know exactly what is happening... I'll have to think about.

Looks like you're running with the current configuration.

    Can we call this resolved?

  • HP F4580: Printer does not print wireless

    Hi there, can you help?

I have a HP F4580 which will only print with the wire attached to my computer printing and the custom of my laptop either.  Ive done all the tests and it won't always feel. What should I do next?  TIA

    Hey there @Listento!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I would be happy to help with your HP Deskjet F4580, and wireless printing.  I can give you some suggestions that will hopefully solve the problem!

If the printer wireless light blue which indicates its connected to the network.  I suggest to reconfigure the connection of the printer to the router to connect.  Once the printer is connected to the network then you can try to add the printer to the computer using the HP software.

You will need to remove the printer from the computer first.  To do this, you will need to go into devices and printers from the start menu.

To remove the device from the computer:

    1. click on the start icon

    2. click on devices and printers on the right column

    3 select your printer

    4. click on remove the device at the top of the window

    5. unplug the USB cable

    6 restart the computer

To reconfigure the Deskjet F4580 Wireless:

    1. power cycle the printer and make sure that the USB cable is NOT connected at this time.

    2. install the HP software CD into the computer (if you don't have it click here: Deskjet F4580 Software)

    3. follow the installation of the software

    4. There should be an option to set up WiFi

    6. it will check the network environment and then ask you to connect the USB cable

    7. connect the printer via the USB port and follow the installation of WiFi program

    8. at the end it should ask you to remove the USB key and print a test page

To add the printer to the laptop:

    1. install the HP software in the computer CD (if you don't have it click here: Deskjet F4580 Software)

    2. follow the installation of the software

    3. to find the printer on the wireless network

    4. follow the software configuration and test printing

Please post back and let me know if this worked for you!

Hello Moor_lady, if you are using Windows 7, you can try to reset your printer wireless.

Go to control panel of configuration, devices, and printer and in the menu bar above, select Add a printer in the lower option, select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

There should be another window that shows all available printers to be added. See if your wireless network printer can be found. If so, select this option and continue the process.

I don't see 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless as a capacity of connectivity for each model (6310 and 6310xi) of your printer. It is most likely the reason why your laptop is not 'see' it.

There is a bluetooth wireless connectivity. It's a different way of connection that allows only printing capacity.

You give more than the number of series in your laptop so I have no idea if bluetooth wireless is installed as a standard option. If it is not installed, you must buy a bluetooth dongle to wWalMart and set it up to use that feature.

  • connect a printer wireless - need 2.4 ghz band of timecapsule

    Hello

I am trying to print via WiFi wireless and my new printer says that it cannot connect to a 5 GHz signal.  It can only connect via 2.4 ghz.  Can configure my TimeCapsule for dual band?  While I can print wireless?

I appreciate any help!  Thank you! Gracias!

Can configure my TimeCapsule for dual band?

A Capsule of 2009 may or may not be a simultaneous dual-band model.  To find out what exactly what you might have, please look on the bottom of the time Capsule to locate the model number. Probably, it is integrated in the base of carpet of MOSS.

The model number starts with an 'A' follow-up of four digits. Post back with number and we will continue.
