Printing dark, totally black pages after changing the drum

Hello folks,

We have 452 Toshiba e-Studio printer, which we mainly intended to photocopy. Recently, he began printing the white lines in the middle of the pages. I removed the developer and drum, only to find out that part of the drum a stack of Toner on it, I tried to clean it with a soft dry cloth, but the dry toner was never released, since we have a spare just drum, I went and changed the battery, I assembled and then put everything back in place.

Know when I do copy white lines disappeared, but the page comes out completely dark, completely not black no readable information and the drum is covered with toner. I spent the day all to know what went wrong happened, it seems I've done worse. I was told the problem is in the case of the machine an incompatibility, I don't seem to understand.

    I see by your post that you have replaced the toner and now get all black pages. I can help you with this.

    Have you had the same problem with the printer before replacing the toner?

    It could be a hardware or with the printer fuser problem.

    If the problem started just after replacing the toner then most likely, the toner.

    Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

    Number one cause of problems with toner.

    Check if the drum unit for damage:

    1. remove the cartridge of toner product and check that the tape has been removed.
    2. check the memory chip for damage.
    3 examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
    CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (Imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

    His fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.
    4. If you see the scratches, fingerprints, black on the drum, or any other damage on the imaging drum, replace toner.
    5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem is resolved.

    HP printers can ignore alignment and even fail the alignment and print still sometimes.  Alignment is very important after each replacement of the cartridge that you get the best print quality.  The alignment should not use much ink at all.  Misalignment could cause problems of color etc., fuzzy, flat, spots, lines...

    I highly recommend to do the alignment.

    The type of printer it is and that is if it can even be canceled would depend on how to cancel alignment.  Usually, it has pressed a button, then press one another on the front panel of the printer while it is lining up.  The web page of troubleshooting HP all-in-one print cartridge and alignment for the color copier product families has without going through the alignment of the cartridge as the last section.

  • Photosmart 6520: 6520 Photosmart printer stopped printing black after changing the print cartridge

    There was a similar position two years ago. After changing the cartiridge (564XL) black printing, the printer will not copy documents. He behaves as if I placed a blank sheet of paper on the glass. I can scan the document and print the .jpeg, but not the document. The print quality of everything else is mediocre - very light on blacks, even though the colors are fine. I ran through all the diagnostic tests and he told me that the printer is fine, although the black box on the diagnostic page is empty.     I just changed the toner. The green light is on, but when something I send to the printer to print, the orange error light. Before inserting the toner, I pulled the Strip in transparent plastic attached to an orange tongue and the black cloth. I tried to reinsert the toner and turn on/off the printer again.     Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

    Open and close the cover five times quickly. It should print a page with black lines on it.

    Select your photo and text inside the subform flowed. Right-click and select wrap in subform do the positioned Subform subform. This will allow you to move objects in this subform positioned the way you like them.

  • error printhead after changing the printhead in L7680

    I have an OfficeJet Pro L7680 that is a few years old.  Recently, I have noticed a decline in the print quality for mainly black, but also a little yellow, and after changing the black cartridge with no changes, I decided to change the Black/Yellow Printhead.  So, I thought that if I'm trying to change a print head, I should change the other (cyan/magenta).  I bought new Office Depot print heads.  After replacing the print heads that I was able to print a page or two, and then all of a sudden the printer started saying there is a problem with the cyan/magenta printhead.  I tried to remove and reinstall, the suppression and power reset and then put it back up, etc, but nothing moves it.  I have not yet called HP, but I hope that when I do they will help because the print heads are under warranty until 2014, even if the printer is out of warranty.  In the meantime, I thought I would ask here is - it possible I only have a print head of DOA?  Or would it be the printer?  Unfortunately I threw the old printheads immediately (stupid me) so I can't try that goes back to the old magent/cyan print head and see what happens.
