  1. Grasp the handle at the front of the tray and then pull the tray toward you to open it.

  3. Slide the width guides to the paper as much as possible.

  4. NOTE: If you load a larger size paper, pull out the extension of the tray to extend the status bar.

  6. Insert envelopes in the center of the tray with the flap of the envelope on the left and upwards. If the valve is on the short end of the envelope, insert the envelope in the center of the tray with the flap towards the product and upwards.

  I'm looking for instructions on printing of envelopes with success on the Officejet Pro 8600.  The printer tries to feed a printer, but stop feeding envelopes because they are pulled in.  Using plain old monarch # 10s.  I realized I have to disable the detection auto-fonction support.  Help.

  HP C4400 all in used a printer allows me to print the envelope from the print master program. I get the message paper size mismatch, load large paper plain paper and click ok. In my print master program, I created an envelope in the with a creator of the envelope. When he hit the PM program printing and change the selection of paper for envelope #10, he tells me he uses the size of the normal paper and not the letter. With prior printer, I never had this problem. How can I tell the printer more rise the size of letter option and print the envelope?

  Unfortunately, I'm not aware of another way to do if PrintMaster is not a parameter of envelope.  Maybe someone else on the forum with experience PrintMaster will jump in and offer their advice.

  I understand that you have a problem when printing envelopes from your Windows 7 computer to your HP ENVY 7640 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help you today with correct this print error "Photo tray". To start I have to make sure that the envelope is correctly loaded in your troubleshooting paper tray. Once you have confirmed that your envelope is loaded OK we'll take a look at the envelope to print on your computer settings. Can I please you follow the steps below.

  Step 1: Load the paper:

  To begin troubleshooting, please click here. Once the support document opens, please select the drop down list for "load envelopes. Please see the instructions on the screen to ensure that your envelope is correctly loaded in the paper tray. Once you have confirmed that your envelope is loaded correctly, proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Check the print settings:

  Below I will provide you with instructions for printing envelopes per word. You should use a different program on your computer to print envelopes, please respond to this post with the program that you are using so I can provide specific measures.

  1. Open Word and click mail merge to top
  2. Select "envelopes" in the upper left side
  3. A page of envelopes and labels should now open. Enter your delivery and return address.
  4. Select 'Options' on the lower right
  5. Under the tab 'Options for envelopes' to ensure that your envelope is correctly selected.
  6. Select the 'Print Options' tab at the top. You must now select as appropriate feeding method for your product.
  7. Make sure that you choose the option "Face down".
  8. Also ensure that 'right-hand Rotation' is selected
  9. At the bottom of the window, select the drop-down list of pet food
  10. Make sure that the feeding method is set to main tray rather then select automatically
  11. Press 'OK' and 'Print'.

• Officejet Pro 8600 Printing envelopes problem

  I have a second tray with envelopes inside. Options for printing MS Word configured to use tray 2 to print envelopes, but does not yet recognize tray 2. If Tray 1 is left in the printer, it prints on a sheet of paper even if it was said to use the tray 2. I have to remove the Tray 1 with paper in it and insert the tray 2 into a slot tray to print on the envelope. Leaving the tray 2 in position of tray 2 and removing Tray 1 is just me out of paper error.

• Problems printing envelopes on an HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless

  I had this printer for over a year and have lived in frustration with how primitive and really dysfunctional, it is trying to print envelopes.  The placement to the right or left of a flap to number 10 envelope gets misaligned, as it is pulled through, for printing and a lot of jams times and tears.  Position Central is the only position that will work, but not without fault as the envelope as bad as she came through.  It often takes two or three tries before I can get an envelope evenly or directly printed.  I'm puzzled as to how HP would engineer a product intended for small businesses with such dysfunctional envelope printing system. Otherwise I am not dissatisfied with the product for almost all other uses.  It has many other features very well this work.  But not print envelope.

  I thought that I would try to inquire as to if an update of the software download may have tried to correct this problem.  Am I alone in this?

  You have moved the paper guides to properly align the envelopes?  I don't see how the envelopes can be loaded in any position, but the Center with the guides snug paper game.  See page 42 (46) in the Manual here.  Also, if you have the latter paper tray note envelopes are not supported in it, you must use the upper plateau.

  I just bought an eprint 6520. I don't have a PC or a Mac, only an iPhone and the iPad. I can print from the ePrint app, but I can not configure the printer to print envelopes. How to set the printer to make the envelopes (or other pages in size, photos) of the printer itself or through my iPad?

  It's actually very easy. I did load the ePrint and remote apps AiO and mating with the 6520. But, none of these applications would not provide paper envelope in option. So, after having unloaded the printer paper and put some envelopes in the bottom tray I just clicked 'print' of the Pages App where I created my list of the envelope. I could only form 6-8 envelopes into the tray at a time, but he did print correctly.

  I understand that you have problems printing of envelopes to your Photosmart 6520. Yes, the C5 envelope format is supported by your printer.

  How many envelopes are in your paper tray? The ability to support is of five envelopes.

  How to print envelopes?  I have a laptop with Windows 7 wireless.  I understand how to do to load the envelope but don't control where the address is printed.  I need to know where and how to type the address.  I use Open Office that I am not very familiar with, even with the printer.  Shot of a business letter has made the choice of printing the address of the body of the letter automatically?  But if I write an informal letter without an address where should I type?  6520 it prints from the front or the back of the printer? It feels like the printer needs instructions, but I don't know where they should come from.  Please help me.
