printing from computer on my all in one HP 4620

My HPO4620 has been working beautifully for installed in December.  Suddenly, it is locked on the fax machine and I cannot do anything else.  I want to print from my computer file, but it won't.  I can't find any way to cut Telec.  Right now, I need not active fax.  I tried the manual suggestions but nothing seems to work.  I am connected by a USB cable, but wireless would probably work as well.  Help, please!

I noticed your post on your Officejet 4620 locked on Fax. I would try to help you with this. First, please try to reset the printer from the printer unplugged for a minute. Connect the printer directly to the wall outlet, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

If this is not enough and you are no longer under warranty, please let me know and I'll send you a private message to something else to try.

    Sound as if you have a driver conflict. Try a different driver. I'm you a link to a post that shows how to assign other drivers.

  • Vista "error - printing" while trying to print from HP Officejet 6310 all-in-one.

    I have used this printer on XP for years without any problem. But have not been able to use it on Vista. I uninstalled and reinstalled the VISTA version of the driver downloaded from the HP website, but noting has worked so far. Have tried all USB ports in the front and the back of the system, but no luck. The printer works fine on XP machine. I have many forums with Miu even, but none of them seems to have the answer for that. This can be a problem for the spooler? Help, please!

    Follow the steps below to solve the problem you're having with the printer:

    1. check with another USB cable.

    2 uninstall all HP software.

    3. install the HP software from the CD provided with your printer,

  • HP Officejet 8040: White line, do not print, vertically when printing from HP Officejet 8040 all in one.

    The white line appears when I print. This has nothing to do with the scan or copy.

    It's about everything that I print and sound always vertical and in the same place.  The Interior of the 8040 seems pretty locked. Not much to go and see what it could be at this place in the printer. I ran the vacuum cleaner at least 5 times and the alignment of 3 times. Help, please.

    The problem you see may be caused by a spot on the MICR band.  You can clean the Strip as shown in the here document coding.  Be aware that the coding Strip is fragile and there are fine lines, printed on the Strip that are essential to the proper functioning of the printer.  Be very gently when cleaning of the band, if you're too vigirous band (and printer) will be damaged.

    3. do you get any error code or error message trying to print?

  • Unable to print on hp psc 1350 all-in-one of imac (os 10.6.8) but capable of scanning

    Unable to print on HP psc 1350 all-in-one of iMac (OS 10.6.8) but capable of scanning; also able to print other printers connected to the same computer.  The printer is connected directly via the USB port and I downloaded and installed software for printing on Mac using OS 10.6.  Shows the impression that labour is on hold whatever program originating the print job.  The State of the 'mistake' poster print job, but there is no information about error numbers or other details of the error. The correct printer is selected by default and layout is correct.  The printer has been disconnected, turned off and restarted and the computer has been restarted several times.  Able to print/scan/to 1350 PSC all-in-one of older Mac laptop (OS 10.5.8).

    Additional suggestions are sincerely appreciated.

    If you are using Snow Leopard or Lion and you have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD not marked as compatible with 10.6 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard or Lion and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard from the old software uninstaller or installed new software on top of it) , you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

    Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
    Highlight your device in the left pane
    Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">
    There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
    Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now reset the printing system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
    -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
    WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
    -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • Fixed jammed paper but still cannot print from computer.

    Original title: paper stuck; I fixed it. Paper is no longer blocked, but (computer) printer doesn't recognize not the jam is fixed and I can not print from computer. What should I do?

    I used MAILING for an envelope; It's stuck; I unjammed it.   • Not able to find driver Win 7 (64 bit) for printer "hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one. pls help

    While I insert the printer USB cable to the laptop, it runs the Windows Live Update automatically and fails in the final task, the installation of the driver. It says "hp psc 2400 series - has failed.

    Then I removed the USB cable, removed the device of "devices and printers", reboot the laptop and then tried to load the driver manually. But in the window "install print driver", I could not able to find the driver for my printer ' hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one ' for the operating system of Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) under the "HP" manufactured.

    Can someone help me get this printer driver to use the Win 7 (64-bit) operating system? Thank you.

    Thank you, Sean. It has not solved the problem. Instead, I got to know that this will work with the 'HP Deskjet 6980 series' pilot and his summer work after I chose that one through the configuration of the local printer.

  • Just installed Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) and now can't print from Photoshop CS5.  All other software including working Lightroom 4 mode "Impression".

    I just installed Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) and now can't print from Photoshop CS5.  All other software installed, including 4 of Lightroom, has not printing problems.  Contacted Apple and they said that it is a problem for Adobe.

    When you reinstall CS5, you start to 12.0 there's a 12.0.4 update that includes bug fixes.

    You need to directly download this update and before you install, go into osx security & privacy > general tab and temporarily allow app installs anywhere.

    I can't print because of the error message following on my all-in-one HP 6180 printer screen:

    Ink system failure. Refer to the documentation of the printer Oxc18a0201. I followed all the recommendations on documentation of the printer, such as: installation later HP updates, turn off the printer and remove the power cord, remove all the ink cartridges and then putting back in when prompted. Also, I rebooted my computer.     I met your questions and we have a solution for this and you can try it, but that would apply only on starting with '0xC18A' and not '0xc19a error codes.

    Try the following steps for Photosmart C7280:

    A. - Press and hold the "*" key.

    B. - Press the "#" and release both buttons.

    Display should say "enter special key Combo".

    C. - Press and release in sequence the buttons '1', '2' and '3 '.

    Display should say "Support" and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)

    Press and release the right arrow button until the display shows "Menu of the System Configuration'.

    Press and release the OK"" button.

    Display should say "hardware failure status. If it isn't there already, arrow above for "Hardware failure status"

    Press and release the OK"" button.

    Display should say "hardware failure status: clear." Press OK to erase.

    Press and release the OK"" button. Message becomes "hardware failure (breakdowns) resolved state. Press Cancel to continue.

    Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the 'ink system failure' is displayed. DON'T TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

    Using the power button, turn the power off and unplug the power cable from the back of the printer output and the wall.

    Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first, and then to the back of the printer

    Switch on the device. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON CLOSING the PRINTER" followed by "Press OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.

    If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If this isn't the case, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK initialization PROCESS". Allow this process to do and not to interrupt. Once the initialization is completed, the printer print a Diagnostic page.

    To check, features of the printer print a PAGE of TEST car. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or installation of the software.

    If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

  • How do you know if there is a compatible with El Capitan printer driver before buying the all-in-one printer?

    My all-in-one printer scanner Canon MX 860 lost the ability to print from the computer, now that I've upgraded to El Capitan. It didn't happen immediately, but now the buttons 'research' went to Canon interface, and the interface of the Apple System. (I spent half a day on troubleshooting, reset and download the drivers from Canon without success.)

    I want to buy a new all-in-one printer... (not Canon, thank you). I need to be sure that there is a 'friendly' pilot El Capitan before I buy and connect my printer. Interfaces for printer drivers are configured to "detect" my printer before the printer list is revealed. I checked Apple's site, but the model numbers are not exactly the same as the units that I compare before you buy.

    I am currently in Singapore where items back isn't something they do unless it is non-functional. You have chosen it, it works, you buy it, it's yours. I need to be sure about the drivers before you have the machine.
