Prints Firefox 29 blank web pages... or... print web pages in reduced format: does not match the paper size.

I am currently using Firefox 29.

I try to print a web page, for example, a game of words crossed from a journal (the link is below).

http://www.freep.com/assets/freep/PDF/C422066148.PDF

The puzzle is displayed full-screen, but when I try to print, I get a blank print: nothing is displayed

In Firefox 27, printing would be reduced in size, although the print setting "Fit to page" has been selected.

I don't have this problem when you use Internet Explorer.

There is a bug in the PDF Viewer in Firefox 29. There should be an update in the near future to fix. For now, the best solution is to use a plugin instead of the built-in Viewer. Since you have the Adobe Acrobat plugin, it is a logical choice for you. This article explains how to make the transition: How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer.

xgdude, unfortunately this printer does not support true custom paper sizes, he acknowledged instead the paper types that are commonly used in the United States. This is because the non-traditional types of paper are difficult for the printer to recognize and inside the right margin of the printing error.

    Hello

    Shortly:

Printing from z/os on HP MFP with stapling Mailobx joint - does not sort the paper. All the paper goes to an output tray, instead of outputb different locations, depending on the configuration of the printer settings.

    With more details:

2 mailbox HP stapling 3 bins of 900 sheets (CE736A)

Our Organization has Mainframe, where the documents are printed (ESF printing system, language PCL).

We have 3 print queues in Windows print - P1, P2, P3 server. All 3 have the common TCP port - at the end, there is multifunction print device: HP M4555, where we tied - sorter of stapling to the 3 bins 900 leaves HP (CE736A) and configured in this way:

1 P1 queue prints to: upper left bin.

2 P2 queue prints to: average left bin.

2 P3 queue prints to: lower left bin.

When I print the test page from windows server to P1, P2 and P3 - ir printed paper properly in appropriate output tray. But my problem is that these print jobs, coming from the Mainframe to these queues - are not sorted by bin (P1 to P2 - in the Middle, P3, Upper - Lower) - the paper goes to a location, for example - Upper (or if not configured device in Control Panel mode mailbox - Lower).

I have fought with this problem too long and cannot be resolved.

  • Design mode does not match the web page

I spent hours trying to solve a new problem.  My design page is turned off.  Which means that it does not match my webpage which is fortunately correct.  My design was correct until a few days ago.  I tried to delete the code that I did recently I thought that maybe the problem.  It was a coding video I copied and pasted into the content of the Center and also a Twitter feed that I posted in the right content on YouTube. Did not work.  I use CS6 in WIndows 10.  Help!

    Hello

The Design mode is only an approximation of the web page. If it was previously while the problem will probably be that something has been deleted/left-in the page that wasn't in the original.

  • Final print size does not match the view screen.

    Hello

I have problems to make my final prints to match the screen display.  Recently, I had this problem: I have an image which is of size at 5 X 7.  I have it on a 5 X 7 model in the Lightroom print module.  The dimensions of the image in Lightroom say 5 X 7.  I have printing on 5 X 7 paper (I actually measured it to be sure).  ON the screen, they look perfect, corresponds to the templates and measure fime with leaders at the screen.  Without fail, a part of the print is cut on final printing.  Along side printing is the most affected.  It is not only limited to 5 X 7, it happens in all areas.  Is this a common problem or I'm I have something wrong?  In the 5 X 7 example above the impression comes from 5.2 X 7.3 give or take.  I use Lightroom 5.3 on an iMac running OS 10.9.1.  The printer is a Canon Pro 100.

I look forward to help with this.

    Thank you

    Joe

If the problem is that the printed image is proportional to the largest, it is a very common side effect with the mode parameters borderless print drivers. In general, (although sometimes you can avoid this where alternative options without borders are given)-edition special unrequested % scale ensures that any physical wrong registration or the inaccuracy of the size of the paper, does not allow accidental white edges.

It's nothing to do with the end of LR in the process, as appropriate.

  • Final result does not match the Master Page

I'm so frustrated with Muse right now I could scream. I'm creating a simple landing page, a single page, where what little information it is (a graphic background, logo and contact information) is the master. I want to just publish a page that is exactly like the master, but this does not seem possible with Muse. Why is this? What Miss me? If you open the master page and go where the text breaks for mobile display, there is a blue graph that I placed at the bottom to fill in the blanks. Has gone in the final result and the page is excessive in length, I can't change in any way. The master is set to vertical 956px, but the last page is at 1080. There is nothing hidden anywhere on the page or master.

I would be very grateful for any help anyone could give me, thanks in advance.

    Hi David,

Thanks a lot for your answer. However, after consideration and discussion with my client, I think I'll try to rebuild the page from scratch, since it's so simple, see how it works first. I'll get in touch if I'm still having the same problem.

    Kind regards

  • Installation of HP DJ 3050 a print margin does not match the word page layout

When you print the Word 10 as the print margins are different the actual document, they can be changed? Currently, print preview displays the page number in the cut foot.

    I'm in word 2010 on windows 7

    Hello simfra1uk.

Installation of bottom in the document margin cannot be less than 1.5 cm (or 0.57 inch). The footer margin must be also bigger than that so it can be printed.

    See you soon!

  • Why some pages on mobile phone does not fill the screen?

I just created a desk and a telephone mobile version of a Web site for my wife - http://sandravollmer.com . The desktop version works fine except that sometimes, the home page is not rendered correctly (and look great) even if the other pages that are well appear.

My main problem is with the mobile phone version which has two pages that do not display when you go home. You can double-click and they will fill the screen but otherwise they fill about half to two-thirds of the screen. These pages are pages of opportunity and the video evidence.

I am not entirely new to Muse that I created my site with it after it first came out, but I'm no Designer Web site in no way am baffled by this question. I tried to change several things on the relevant pages and even on the master page, but nothing seems to work.

I'll answer my own question because after doing a "select all", I discovered that there is something on each of the pages that I didn't and forced as a result page is smaller. After removing the offending element on each page, everything seems normal and large.

Thanks for the help!Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 8.56.37 AM (2).png

First the solution: always, always, always convert to sRGB when viewing images on the web. Make sure that the sRGB profile is embedded.

    Then the explanation:

It is a file with the profile of ProPhoto RGB (not Adobe RGB), read without on-screen type sRGB color management. Here I simulated the effect in converting PS version to ProPhoto and assigning sRGB. Perfect match:

If you see this in Safari, it will charge the image correctly if the ProPhoto profile is embedded in the image. However, the profile of band of some Web sites and thus make based on Flash galleries without exception. In this case, Safari doesn't know what to do with it and display it as-is, without color management. And here's the result.

  • The color in printed images is not match the colors on the screen

I've recently updated to an iMac, retina 5K and the colors in the printed images do not match the colors of the image on the screen. I use CS6 and the screenshot below shows that, in the window of the print settings CS6 image does not match the image of origin either, the original image on the left.  I've updated all print drivers, and the images are also too green/faded when I print them, or download them on Animoto or Mpixpro.  We tried a Spyder calibration system, and that did not help.  For now, I have to make a folder separate with "twisted" images that have increased the saturation and Communists to give them a normal appearance.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Unless you have a current color profile for the display you are using and you have calibrated the printer for the specific of ink and paper that you are using, its not surprising there are differences. Without a color managed workflow screen and software have no information on what the printer can produce.

The range Spyder products are not up to the task.

The normal options for managing your color workflow are:

    1. using the X-Rite i1 photo system,

    2. purchase of a custom profile for your type of printer, paper and ink, done by a specialist in color management

3 - Send your files to a professional lab that is capable of producing quality work.
