Tap this notification, then choose "file transfers".

I have Blackberry 7100i that I'm unable to have the Desktop Manager detect. I'm under Blackberry 4.6 on Windows Vista Edition full version. I did the installation and removal of the battery of the phone and in the device manager that the USB is recognized Blackberry device. I'm really disappointed there is not a clear answer for what seems to be the common problem. I've tried versions 4.3.4.5. and now 4.6 all with the same problem. In connections, I'm clicking on USB option and in these versions, there is not a detection option. Someone has a simple answer? Office Manager says I am disconnected. Phone readsV4.1.0136. • BlackBerry Blackberry Q5 Q5 undetected in link (USB connected)

Hi, I have a new blackberry Q5 for 1 week and I used Blackberry Desktop to transfer data from my previous BB Curve 9100. Then I installed the BB link for my BB set Q5 upgraded to the latest OS 10.1 (at the time). Everything worked fine on my Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit laptop, USB connected.

Then, today, I wanted to connect my BB Q5 via USB because I got a notification to upgrade to Mac OS 10.2. But when I connect the BB to my laptop USB port, nothing is really happening, even the Windows Device Manager does nothing.

I tried with 2 different USB cable and same problem. Also, (perhaps another problem), when I connect the USB cable, my BB Q5 tells me "you should use the charger supplied for accusing him faster" (a kind of message)... Even when I connect using the charger provided in the socket...! ? ! (WTF)...

I've rechecked setting and under the link 'Blackberry' and it is activated: I
the 'Mobile use network' is disabled, of course I don't want to use the 4G Mobile to connect with link BB and I can see the name of my laptop displays at the bottom of the screen of option 'Link BB' on my BB device.

But on my laptop, inside the link, it says that the device is not connected as well, under settings, in the storage and access, the USB connection is set to Windows (has been resolved on 'auto' before, but still without success).
    WiFi access is disabled: o
USB storage device is activated: I

If my device is not detected in the Link BB software and even not detected as a USB storage device in Windows.

I uninstalled the Software Desktop BB and BB link, then reinstalled BB link without success... I'm stuck now.

    Any help, thanks.

I finally got it to work:

-J' have completely stop my Blackberry Q5 terminal and disconnected from the USB.

-In Windows Device Manager, I can see the virtual private network of Blackberry in the Group of network adapters, which is correct. But the Terminal Blackberry did not appear.

-Plug the USB cable into my device Blackberry Q5 and I turned on with the switch on the top.

-From there, Windows has detected the terminal and installed the drivers from the Terminal Blackberry (automatically supplied with the BB Link software)

    - And link began to say automatically that the BB is correctly connected via USB.

-When I turn on the USB mass storage, it works as well (and disconnect link at the same time), so I have to stop mass storage USB in BB Q5 settings do connect to Link via the USB cable.

  • BlackBerry smartphone BlackBerry Curve 8520 cannot connect to PC

Hi, I recently bought a BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone. I want to transfer music from my computer to the BlackBerry files. I have already installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. But even after I connect the BlackBerry to the USB port of my PC, when I click on "Media Manager" in the Desktop Manager, a message appears saying: "Media Manager is only supported using a USB connection, to run the Media Manager, please connect your device to your computer via a USB cable.

When I check my BlackBerry, there are the popup on the screen:

"The source of load connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery. Some USB hubs may not supply enough power. Plug the hub into a socket (if available), then reconnect your BlackBerry device. Connection to another (different computer, USB hub or USB power) USB port check that the USB cable is properly connected to your BlackBerry device and a USB port, check that your computer is not in sleep mode, standby mode or hibernation. Check that BlackBerry USB drivers installed on your computer. »

I can check all of the above, except for the drivers USB BlackBerry. Can someone tell me where I can download it? Moreover, I did not have a SIM card, I do not know if that plays a role in the present.

    Thank you in advance.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Have a SIM won't matter for what you are wanting to do.

    1. make sure that you are connected to a main REAR usb port, not a USB port on the front or a usb hub.

    2. one. Go to Options > Media Card
(some themes or BlackBerrys can call this ' settings > Media Card ")

    b. check the following parameters (if they are that way, then changes according to the following:)

    • Media card support: on
    • Mass storage Mode support: on
    • Auto enable mass storage: Yes

    c. save the settings and exit

  • Software USB connection blackBerry disappeared

Two days ago, I supported p my Q10 with BB Digg.  Today, I tried to connect through the same USB cable with link BB and two other programs, but the PC still says "Disconnected" or "Unable to connect".  Under network connection & phone says USB "connected."

The phone does not appear on Windows Explorer and is not listed in Device Manager.  Following the advice on a Forum, I uninstalled link BB (+ BBB and drivers) and installed the latest 1.2.0.52.B59 that reinstalls the latest driver.  I restarted the PC, but am still unable to connect.

    No it's not.

And besides, nowhere in your previous post tell you that you can not use the AppWorld, you said you could not download Protect because you are given a message that fails that appworld on your device, which makes no sense to me because you are trying to download Protect.

Anyway, download, it is that I said. Just checked, you don't need AppWorld installed.

  • Software BlackBerry Blackberry link does not connect WiFi but mixture

    Hi all

I can be alone at this moment, but I can't connect to the link using the WIFI in my passport.  I've updated and fact uninstall several times.  I bought my passport in the spring of last year and it has been a struggle since then.  When I first set up the Link software it was fabulous.  It connected quickly and repeatedly throughout the day.  I could transfer files to and from my PC using my PC or my passport.

As time has passed, I had to uninstall and reinstall the software Link several times so he could work on WIFI.  From 13/08/16 today I uninstalled and reinstalled the link again and although I can connect by USB connection WIFI connection does not work while the mixture is done with WIFI.

I disconnected the net and turned off the firewall.  The WIFI connection worked once but failed a second time.  In addition, the Passport will be connect to and surf the net via my virtual wifi.  I find it very strange as time has passed the liaison WIFI feature from excellent to difficult and inoperable.

    Here are the details:

I use Windows 7 pro Service pack one

I use a Microsoft Virtual WIFI Miniport Adapter

    Windows Firewall

    Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus

Passport for Blackberry with OS current starting from 13/08/16

BlackBerry Desktop Package downloaded and installed 08/13/16 after uninstalling and cleaning registry.

Thanks in advance for the help given.

I used mixes both the link because I disabled the protection in real time to Microsoft Security Essentials for a week. I was able to connect with reliability on WIFI and cellular phone network. This seems to have done the trick.

  • BlackBerry Z30 Kingston USB otg does not not on z30

Whenever I have plugin USB on my z30 message appears peripheral USB connected and when I open the file manager I get media options card and phone

    Repeated warning: I don't know.

It is part of the reason why I asked if the product is identical to what sells BlackBerry Boutique. If that were the case, then I trust that the product would be compatible with the Z30.

Another suspicion is that you have a device that is labeled as a device on the road but is not completely compatible with the specifications on the go, or it's a knock-off (counterfeit). I don't know, just to take the opportunities.

Another possibility is that the product works the way it is supposed to work.   (See warning).

I looked at the product, found on Amazon, and is identified as a device on the go. Amazon. Kingston. My guess is that it should be ok... If you have an authentic product of Kingston.

So, I don't know. The Z30 is supported on the thumb. I'd be really interested to know how it goes with another device on the go. Not the same. Another model, another manufacturer, a supplier known.

What should I try next?   Thanks for your help.

    Hi Bill,

You can try the following steps and check:

    Method 1:

Connect the HTC Fuze to the computer, and then run the fixit and see if that makes a difference.

Automatically, he diagnoses and fixes problems with the hardware. (USB) Keyboard and mouse are not detected by the Manager of devices or when they do not work.

    Method 2:

If method 1 may not then try the following:

If you are running Windows Vista 32 - bit, then Uninstall and reinstall the same.

Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista (32-bit)

  • Mixture of blackBerry software now a connection

I was wondering what the correct mixture behavior should be considered for the State a USB connection no.

What I feel is the next, a wifi or mobile connection will remain connected for a day at the most, but I can never connect in any other way except USB.  Mixture of a colleague can be connected without USB and seems to stay connected until the computer is turned off and reconnects as soon a mixture is open again without USB.

What is a normal behavior?  Would I be able to connect without a USB?  Yes I have the 'allow mobile connection' for mixture activated.

    Hello

Yes, you should be able to connect every day without needing a USB connection.  When you are not able to connect this error message is displayed?

What version of mix and software do you use?

  • How to use the usb connection

    Hello

I want to open a usb connection:

I use the following I got code from the example of the Blackberry software development kit:

    _sc = (StreamConnection) Connector.open ("comm:USB; channel = JDE_USBClient");

He still can't on my device. (java.lang.illeaglArgumentException or no istance application).

What type of string should I switch to the channel?

There the doc on this usb connection?

    Thank you

You have created an application that extends UiApplication and has entered the event dispatcher?

Connector.open call can trigger a prompt of the BlackBerry firewall / Application control to allow the connection.  The system will not display the prompt, if the application runs only request and could cause the exception "no instance of the application.

You are able to run the examples of usbdemo (side BlackBerry and PC) included with the JDE BlackBerry and BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse?
