problem analysis to the computer with a 8600 wireless

I recently plugged an Officejet Pro 8600 Wireless (CM749A-N911A) Vista 32 bit.

The printer is connected wireless (No ethernet cable) to a network by using a cable modem and a Netgear router.

I can print wireless from my DT or lieutenant Tests of wireless to the printer showed that it is connected to my network.

What I want to do, it is scanning to my computer, everytime I try I get a message telling me that it cannot find the 8600.

I can scan to a flashdrive no problem.

What should I do to scan to my computer wireless or seeks only to scan to an internet location?

Thank you

Don

It took me 2 whole days, but I've been tracking the solution for my all-in-one HP6500A. He suddenly lost the ability to scan to the computer after working fine for a year. Windows Image Acquisition, necessary to analyze, did not work, and I couldn't restart it. It is difficult, for me anyway.

Press on Start menu and type services, and then click SERVICES when the screen opens.

SCROLL TO WINDOWS IMAGING AND SEE IF IT IS RUNNING. IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE, START IT. THIS IS WHERE I HAD THE PROBLEM, BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND OUT HOW TO ACTIVATE THIS SERVICE. THEN I DISCOVERED THAT THE WIA DEPENDED ON 2 OTHER SERVICES TO FUNCTION PROPERLY.

THEN SCROLL DOWN TO: REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL, SEE IF IT IS RUNNING. IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE, TURN IT ON.

THEN SCROLL DOWN TO: SHELL HARDWARE DETECTION AND ACTIVATE IT. IT WAS THE PIECE THAT FINALLY SOLVED MY PUZZLE!

THE WORKED IMMEDIATELY SCAN FUNCTION AND THE WINDOWS FAX AND SCAN ACTIVE ALSO.

  • How to disable the automatic locking of the screen of the computer with windows XP

How to disable the automatic locking of the screen of the computer with windows XP? so many people responded on windows 7, but NOT a SINGLE spoke of XP.  I have this problem.  screen goes into sleep mode and I have to wake up even if NO PASSWORD is selected.  I changed the POWER SETTINGS. Nothing helps.  NEED HELP. Thank you

Well since it is already assigned, and a mod has not moved this somehow already in the XP section:

On your desktop, right-click right properties, under the screen saver are of course "on Resume, display logon screen" is NOT checked. You can also disable screen saver.

  • When the Admin sign on the office comes to the top, but after that the computer does not respond when the user tries to do anything. There are actually turns off the computer with the power button.

    Original title: user profile

My administrator user profile does not work properly, but I have a user profile that has activated the parental control that worked well for about a year and yesterday when this user logs on the desktop comes up, but after that the computer does not respond when that user tries to do anything. There are actually turns off the computer with the power button.  I ran a virus scan and spyware scan in my user admin profile and he has not found anything.  I don't know what to check.

    Hello rhunter15,

There may be a program to interfere with Parental controls so that we can try a few things to see if we can determine the application or program that is causing problems.

First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

    • Click Start
    • Click on all programs
    • Click Accessories, and then right-click on the command prompt.
    • Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"
    • Click on command prompt
    • Type SFC/scannow.

It will scan and repair any damaged operating system files.

To determine if there is a program because of a conflict, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. This helps determine which service or program can be the cause of the problem.  For more information about how to perform a clean boot for troubleshooting, click the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

KB 929135 - how to solve a problem of performaing a clean boot in Windows Vista.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Once you have finished the clean boot, check again and see if you get the error of parental control.

If please post again and let us know if that helped pinpoint the problem or if you still need help.

    Thank you

I'm sorry, but you will need a Windows 9 x / ME drive to provide during the XP installation from the XP disc is a version upgrade. There is no way around that. See if you can find a friend with an older operating system disk (not a recovery disk) to support qualification. Otherwise, you would need to buy the full version (not upgrade) of XP to install on the computer. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • To use the computer with the different Flight Simulator equipment that is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows

Original title: change the version of Windows

I have a computer used only for Flight Simulator and is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  I want to use the computer with the different Flight Simulator equipment that is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows.  Is there a way I can upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit for Windows 10 32 bit and enjoy free upgrade of Windows 10?

No, the upgrade program will replace existing windows with the same number of bits, 32 to 32 and 64 to 64.

Even within the same version of Windows, passing from 32 to 64 and vice versa requires a clean installation.

Dlink and Fujitsu point to another, and Microsoft has no viable solution. Help!

    Hi AlLohUX,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description of the problem provided, I understand that you are unable to connect to the network on the Windows vista computer. Wifi connection Dlink says local only.

You can follow the steps below and check if that helps you solve the problem.

    Method 1

Try to power cycle the router and the computer and check if it helps.

    On the PC:

Save your work and restart the machine.

On the router or the modem:

    1. Unplug the router and the modem.
    2. Wait 30 seconds.
    3. Plug in the modem and wait for it to come to the ready state.
    4. Plug in the router.

After you put cycle check the connection between the router and the computer.

    Method 2

If the steps above do not help, you can reset the TCP/IP stack. To reset access the link below and either click on "Fix it for me" or follow the instructions to fix it yourself: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357

    (a) disable the IP helpdesk:

    (b) hold Windows key and type R, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press enter

    (c) scroll down to the IP assistance service, right-click on it and select Properties
In the drop-down list box that says "Automatic" or "Manual", set it to disabled and then click 'apply'.

    (d) then click on 'Stop' to stop the service from running in the current session
Click OK to exit the dialog box

Is there a way to know why your pc stops the poeople HP say this is a problem of windows 7 and can not help.

It could be that the computer is running a little on the hot side and the thermal protection has kicked. One of the down sides to get a pre-generated computer who is yo have no control over the thermal limits. Try to blow out the dust accumulated inside the computer, just him ensure that the computer is turned off and unplugged before you open the side of your computer. You might need a couple of compressed air or one of these mini vacuum computer systems that can act as a fan as well. I hope this helps.

We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

    If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • OfficeJet 6500 connects to the computer with a usb cable.

He has connected with a usb cable attached with no problems at all, but it has just stopped working suddenly. There is no error message, it does not simply read the printer any port it is connected to. The printer itself seems to work fine - I can make copies with her, and there is no problem I know with the computer. I tried to install wireless, but there need to be connected all first and I tried to buy a new usb cable, but it did make a difference. I'm on a PC - a Compaq laptop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    A few ideas:

    1. do not go through a USB hub, plug directly into a port on your PC.

    2. make sure that the USB cable is plugged into the appropriate to the back of the printer port (it will come indeed in the Ethernet port, but obviously will not work here).

3 restart the printer and the PC.
