• BlackBerry Blackberry Maps Z10 does not not on Telus

  BlackBerry Maps were not loading for me since yesterday at 19:00.  I rebooted my phone, took in the SIM without success.  The map loads and get my position, but the entire map is just a blank white screen.

  A friend in one of the BBM groups in that I am is also having the same problem with a Z10 on Telus.  It is in Calgary, I'm in Toronto.  Internet and everything works.  Third-party applications that use the API of the card still work perfectly.

  I'm on Telus with an OS Z10 10.1.0.4181

  I use the Blackberry Maps 10.1.0.810 version

  There work.  had clear the history:

  1. open maps

  2. pull on the adjustment of the top menu (sliding down the top and press settings)

  3 clear history

  4. all clear

  5 cards close and restart maps

  Don't know why it would have created a problem although...

• BlackBerry sudden Z10 and serious problem with Z10 NEED HELP Please

  I have a z10, one of the first who came out in Toronto (if it is one)
  (difference), a few hours ago, I fell into a serious and sudden
  problem.

  I was able to swipe left and right between the pages of apps, even fall down
  Since the Summit, but I cannot open anything, not even not making a call or settings
  Options.

  Any time I try, for a fraction of a second, it looks like its about load

  So I first did a reset, same problem, so I did a battery pull (15 minutes) and the problem is.

  I tried via USB to do a backup on blackberry Manager and maybe do a
  Re - install everything, but when I was invited to the password
  my camera on my PC, it told me that it was (I use a wrong password
  This blackberry on my computer 4-7 days a week, twice a day sometimes for an
  year and I have never miss typed my password, nor have I changed it)

  After trying everything to make sure that the first letter was maybe upper/lower
  cases, even my other possible phone password, nothing worked...

  On the 5th unsuccessful attempt my phone prompted me to type "blackberry", which
  I did, then I typed my password on my phone that I type in about 15 times
  one day because I put my phone in a lock in 5 minutes and has always said that he was wrong... I'm no attempt of 9/10 on and lost

  and now, or I have a previous backup of whipe form 4 months ago that I

  Well... If you are in 9 out of 10 here and you don't mind not to restore your device, then enter the password again once and then the device should enter the device wipe mode. That will reset your device to factory setting and then you can start fresh by reloading your backup made the earlier

• BlackBerry battery Z10 drainage and other problems

  Hi all.  I'm new to this forum, but certainly not new to Blackberry devices.  I had a playbook before my z10 and I know that the two are not at all similar, but I like Blackberry interface.  I read a lot of posts here on the drainage of the battery and overheating and the phone restarts several times, and I had all these problems.  Recently, after reading here and trying to get a grip on what to do with my z10, I called my cell phone provider technical support to see what they had to offer advice.  I live in the Canada, Telus is my provider and they said either on send to get or replace the battery or both battery and motherboard replaced like who could fix the overheating problem.  My phone overheat in the upper left corner of the phone, but only when I play a game that I downloaded on the android market as 1mobile market.  In general, it is a racing game where the screen is affected much.  I noticed that the back of the device overheating also and this worries me greatly as I wonder if my phone is going to explode in my hands!  I did a cleanup of security and has not been successful in restoring the last backup I made before is erased.  In some way my Blackberry ID and password was not accepted when I put my phone again.  It's frustrating.  But now I always get the overheating problem and my battery life is not great, that it was better before erasure.  Weird.  I ask some advice if I should send the phone or to swap with another since I was still under the 1 month to own this phone?  I have till next week Monday a decision, because it is when my replacement z10 phone is supposed to be in my Telus in my store.  Thanks in advance to all.

  At the end of a day recently, I tested, did not use wifi, no games, no cell data, and my battery had fallen to 30% while having the phone and SMS language. Before I start my day, the phone is fully charged. Technical support told me that isn't normal.

  I can customize the ringtone for some contact.  My problem is that the ring works only for calls. It will not change to the texts.  I don't understand that the process or change is the same.  Is there any solution for this?

  My blackberry world works now and I did not do anything else to do the sorting. It seems that regular maintenance is done about it. I would have been nice for us users of BlackBerry phones to be kept informed when there is a scheduled maintenance just if we are aware and in an emergency and we can not use phones...

  I bought a z10 a week ago, it's really wonderful device... I'm from Croatia... area code (+ 385) like any other, I have the same problem as no names of senders sms... no name calling...

  Example: if I put the area code number to contact no + as 385XXXXXXXX the name of the sender of the sms shows.. but the name of the appellant are not... but if I save the contact with the area code with + 385XXXXXXXX... indicates the name of the caller but the name of the sender of sms only. It's really annoying...

  Can anyone know how to fix this?

  The most common thing to do after an update which results in problems is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

  Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.).   I'm having a problem with text messages. Whenever I get a tweet from Twitter for a sportswriter, I followed, there is a text message to accompany with the same info in the tweet. The texts of position is still 40404. The negative point in this is that it causes a surplus in my text message monthly limit. I don't get any other source Twitter text messages. I tried searching in the Twitter settings but have not found anything that stops the texts. I did not have this problem with my Torch 9850, so I don't know why the Z10 is having this problem. I hope someone can provide a fix for this inconvenience.

  There is nothing on the Z10 which allows all text messages from Twitter. The only way to do that is to follow the instructions in the link below:

• Z10 battery blackBerry with Z10 strange problem

  I got a 100-3 10.1.2019OS Z10. I had no problms with her. Every now and then the battery becomes hot and sinks quickly.

  I encountered a strange problem. All of a sudden, my battery with a minimum life isn't quite a day. I have ony 1 app running, guru of battery that monitors battery. I have two spare batteries. I tried to change the batteries and it makes no difference.

  As I said, I have had this since it was released here in the United States and generally get about 2 days with my use. and I made NO changes, no new apps.

  I found Gmail as an issue. If you configure try to delete the account and do a battery pull. See if it works.

  I had a similar problem for the last 2 days and Gmail has proved to be the culprit.

  I swiped my phone security three times in the last 2 days to resolve a problem with texting. I've updated my software via wifi and not link to Blackberry. He has worked to solve the problem, but then the first two times the problem reappeared after restoring a backup. The last time that I restored it manually all I could but lost password and apps which I am fine with. I hesitate to use Blackberry link again as the last update I did the link seems to trigger this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions? My Blackberry has never really been what I would call stable.

  I recommend that the updates made on the wifi. Don't do not updated the link unless there was a problem with udpate wifi.

  Your carrier will send specific carriers updates which can solve problems like this after an update.

  I have a Q10 I'm synchronization by binding, mostly just to test it. I had no problems with it.
