  I have a formula of Member as below:

  where a, b have their own forms of Member.
  There is no problem with the calculations of x, a or b, but I am facing a problem with the creation of the x block.
  Is there a way to manage the creation of block through member formulas? I know that the way out through calc scripts, but I try to limit the use of calc scripts.

  This means that the folder you want to create is blocked because of file permissions. The drive or folder you are trying to create the destination folder is set to read-only, and your username does not have write permissions.

  You can correct IMGs who have 900 and 1500 members and create blocks for them based on another dimension ex:
  We have more sparse dims: entity 1000, 1000 products, 5 years, 5 Sen, Version 5 and now you want to create block for entities and products for FY11, Budget, Version1 then

  DIFFICULTY (@RLEATIVE ('entity', 0), @RELATIVE ("products", 0), Fy11, Budget)

  Version1 is Vesrion1 + 0.;

  You can reduce hardware acceleration and check if the problem persists:

  1. right click on the desktop and choose personalize.

  2. click on display settings.

  3. in the display settings window, click on advanced settings.

  4. display the Troubleshooting tab.

  5. click on change settings.

  6 reduce hardware acceleration.

  No worries, go to the start screen and find the Green store icon.  When you open it will let you know if the update is available.

  I have the Master Collection 5.5 and Premiere Pro decided to not start (it was fine last time I used it about 6 months ago). The start screen appears for about 2 seconds and then the message 'first Pro CS5.5 has stopped working. A problem caused blocking the program works correctly etc.

  I uninstalled Premiere Pro and re-installed from disc, but I experienced the same problem I uninstalled now again. I am aware that the disks are old enough now, and I wonder if I need to download a newer version. I found a few downloadable update files, but I didn't know what version I have to select (there are a number of version numbers, and some say that for electronic downloads) or if I need to reinstall from my records to get the update, or if updates are stand-alone programs.

  Can someone point me in the right direction to get this issue sorted?

  Another solution would be to change the CC, but I do not see the options to do this, the upgrade of my 5.5 Master Collection - and I can't see how to contact Adobe...

  Hi Pete,.

  I had a conversation with them, and they said that they did not support the CS applications and showed me the forums!

  In fact, not correct. We support CS6 installation problems, just not all versions before that. Sorry, CS5.5 is a suite of older applications and we cannot provide tech support 1-1 for every piece of software ever designed. Finally, this type of support tends to move to the forums. My apologies for your inconvenience.

  You have not quite a mysterious issue going on, however. You say it worked fine before, but now it does not work. I suspect a hardware conflict, probably a video driver. You can return to an earlier version of the driver to see if that will help?

• How to create blocks

  I am developing a script that creates blocks under certain conditions.

  Firstly - my plan looks like this:

  2 dense dims (measures, period) and 4 (employee, activity, entity, data area)

  I use a specific measure called "Block" and I'm assigning a value of '1' to create a block if the condition is true. Script looks like this:

  FIXPARALLEL (@RELATIVE(employees,0))

  Fix (@relative(Activity,0), @relative(Entity,0))

  ("data_area1"

  IF (the condition is true)

  'Block'-> ' day 1 '->' data_area1 ' = 1;

  ENDIF

  ENDFIXPARALLEL

  This script creates blocks, but it takes too long (I have more than 2000 employees, cca 130 entities and activities more than 10000 - over 2.5 billion possibilities of combinations). I use FIXPARALLEL on employees, but it takes more hours...

  The question is: are there at - it anyway better to create blocks?

  There is no way you can get the data at the level of the Emp-Ent-Act and then load it? Maybe use a database technology to join the employee and bring back the activity, so that you have then the employee entity and activity.

  The basisMbr should be where your data that you want to allocate by for this range of metadata. If the @CHILDREN is where you want to allocate to the and the basisMbr is the location of data for the way in which you want to assign. So no need for the IF condition

• Creating blocks in an IF statement

  I have a calc script this logic of features runs only on certain months. However, I need to create blocks before this logic can calculate and store these values. Currently, the script creates all the blocks for every month with a datacopy, then clears the data in these blocks. However, I would only create and delete blocks a month specific. What is the best way to do it if I can't run a datacopy inside an IF statement? (I prefer is not to use a batch script to check the month)

  You can try something like

  SET EMPTYMEMBERSETS

  Fix (@List (Mar, Jun, Sep) and & CurMonth))

  DIFFICULTY...

  DATACOPY...

  It copies only the data that is in & CurMonth if the month variable is set to March, June or September made sure command of emptymembersets if the month is say January the entire patch is ignored, i.e. it never reaches the datacopy command.

  Just upgraded to Lightroon 6. Now I have a problem creating the destination folder. Already checked the folder permissions. Even tried a new folder nothing helps. A lot of space on the computer.

  Don't know who to turn to next. Is this a problem of individual computer?

  You must use a computer with permissions of administrator account

  Also, do a right click on the installer and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR from the popup option window to see if that helps

  I'm having a problem create 1 dimension logic with a hierarchy of exploration, based on two separate physical dimension tables. The errors I get when navigating in the exploring hierarchy is:
  "Cannot find coverage source logical table to the columns of the logical" &
  "Missing join between the logical tables.
  
  I use OBIEE 10.1.3.4
  Here are the details of what I have set up as:
  
  Physical layer:
  Table DIM_ORG with the dimension columns:
  -dimension_key
  -org_total_code
  -org_total_description
  -org_detail_code
  -org_detail_description
  
  Dimension table DIM_DEPT with columns:
  -dimension_key
  -dept_total_code
  -dept_total_description
  -dept_detail_code
  -dept_detail_description
  
  FACT_SALES table with columns of facts:
  -fk_org
  -fk_dept
  -sum_sales
  
  Physical joins:
  FACT_SALES.fk_org = DIM_ORG_dimension_key
  FACT_SALES.fl_dept = DIM_DEPT.dimension_key
  
  Business model and the mapping of layer:
  I created a logical dimension ORG_DEPT. It contains two sources of logic table (DIM_ORG & DIM_DEPT) and the following logical columns:
  -All departments (mapped to dept_total_code)
  -Organization (mapped to org_detail_description)
  -Organisation number (mapped to org_detail_code)
  -Department (mapped to dept_detail_description)
  -Department Code (mapped to dept_detail_code)
  The logical key of the company is based on the combination of number of organization & Department Code
  
  The hierarchy, I need is: all departments-> organization-> Department so I created the following hierarchy for ORG_DEPT:
  -Total level containing: all departments
  -Organization level containing: company (defined as logical level key) number & Organisation (als defined the key level drill)
  / Department detail level containing: Department (defined as logical level key) Code and the Department (defined as key level drill).
  
  In the LTS of the ORG_DEPT dimension, I've set levels of content for sources:
  DIM_ORG: Level of organization
  DIM_DEPT: Level of detail Department
  The LTS non - joins inner - came against the associated physical tables.
  
  I created a logical fact table (based on the physical fact table) SALES and joined him on the ORG_DEPT logical dimension table.
  In the LTS, level of content for ORG_DEPT is part of the level of retail service. Non - joins inner were aded against related physical tables.
  
  When I create a report in response to test the hierarchy and select only "all departments' I get the value of the returned correct size. When I try to break through to the next level, I get the following ODBC error:
  "Could not find coverage source logical table for logical columns: [all of them]." "Please check more detailed level keys are correctly mapped.
  
  When I create a report in responses and select "Every department" and "Sales", I get the correct result. When I try to break through to the next level, I get a different ODBC error:
  "Lack of join between the logical tables DIM_DEPT and DIM_DEPT: there must be at least a physical link to join between the underlying physical tables.

  You have no relationship defined between the Department and org.

  You can either:
  a. create a table of physical dimension with a composite key of org_id & dept_id if there is a relationship defined somewhere, then to obiee model as you have already done, but in the physical layer on the composite key join
  b. model your exisitng as two-dimensional and two hierarchies tables and set up a path of forest favorite between them according to your needs.
