  OK - I found the answer - the list of the mailing list was put to the 'private' and that it was necessary to be set to 'public '. Now, it reads the file in xml format.

• Executable file cannot create files

  I created a VI that creates files in its operation. It downloads files via FTP and also creates a config file, if it does not already exist.

  When I ran the VI without building in an application everything has worked well. Now that I have built in an application, he cannot create any files at all for some reason any.

  The strange thing is that it doesn't throw any errors. Part of my application FTP receives a list of files in a directory through then a loop using the 'get' vi file it draws in the FTP in the Toolbox of the internet. The for loop to zip right through the list of files without having to download them, but acts like he did download them. Its supposed to wait until it downloads or expires. As I said though, nothing in the VI can create all files. I'm trying to create a configuration file, but it is not created.

  I am even dealing with the case where when I use the 'VI path.vi current"from a stand-alone application, it will send a path like c:/directory/myprogram.exe/currentvi.vi. I analyze it to the directory of the real executable without a hitch.

  I am running XP, not vista, so it's not like I need to run it as an administrator or something. I'm puzzled. I hope that I have adequately described the behavior of this problem for you guys.

  before installing all the drivers (unnecessary):

  Have you checked all the wires of the error? Especially in the creation of your program file section? All messages of that?

  Can you show your code (a light at least version)? You can replicate the problem with an example vi?

It has Vista OS.  I use the recovery disc creation program.  The program starts and shows that it is creating files.  When the indicator progress says 50%, the program seems to stop, and after a few minutes, I get a message say that the process is canceled.  What can I do to create a recovery disk?

In case this happens, without loss of data occurs, or damage the computer. It just "stops" the process of recovery that the Recovery Manager to identify the blank disc.

  After all, the recovery disks are created, label the disks and store them in a safe place. If the recovery disks fail when creating or damaged, you can order replacement of HP recovery disks.

• Administrator cannot create files or run defrag.

  I am running Windows 7 and I am logged on as administrator.  I'm trying to run some DOS commands at the command prompt,

  but I am running into a problem.  For example when I run the defragmentation of the C: prompt.  I get this message.

  "The disk defrgamenter cannot start because you have insufficient privileges to perform this operation."

  Also, if I try to create a file in the C: or C:\Users directory, I get the message "access denied."

  I'm able to schedule defragmentation using the Disk Defragmenter tool in Windows 7.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  To run some commands, you must open the elevated command prompt:

  1 log in under an administrator account.

  2. click on the start planet.

  3. type the three letters cmd in the search box.

  4. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter

  5. click on "run as Administrator".
  UAC will not allow you to create files in the root directory of the system drive, unless you do under the elevated privileges (not recommended).
  BACK when there is more than 10 years with Windows ME (good riddance!) fashion. The black screen is now called the Console or command prompt. Orders including defrag.exe are commands to the console.

• Problem opening files in MS Paint

  I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on an ASUS Gaming Notebook aged 2 years.  All installed software is set up to receive the latest updates.

  
  
  About 3 days, 24/09/2012, UTC - 6 h, I started to experience problems opening files inside MS Paint.  Recently used files open without problems, but when I used the drill down menu file and clicked Open, the File Manager window opens but seemed not completely.  It stops before you post content in the panels on the left or right.  After waiting almost a minute, an error window opens saying that the Paint program does not react with the choice of activation of one of the 2 buttons, Debug or Cancel.
  Despite my system restarts and run virus scans, nothing seems to be broken.  I did, however, go through the Event Viewer to see what specifics have been involved in these accidents.  As I'm not a programmer or remotely competent in any language of software, the only elements that makes any sense to me were mspaint.exe & explorerframe.dll mentioned in Application event error reports as well as a series of numbers. (I also made the applet of Quicktime, 22, do not overwrite my selections of extension of file to default, programs installed that I read in another forum, it tends to do with files visual & audio) So now, I have several issues with that I hope other posters can help me:
  • Everyone knows that I have here and have been able to solve it?
  • Is it possible to uninstall, and then reinstall the paint? (I don't want to do a restore system b/c my last restore point was in April).
  • Any of you know how I can repair this situation or even help out there so I could fix the problem myself?
  • Is it possible to have reported this instance to Microsoft somewhere other than the generic return route?

  A restore point can be created manually, but when you use windows update a restore point is often automatic created in the update process.

  Simply type 'Restore' in the search text box programs & files, double-click the shortcut to "System Restore" which results in and follow the instructions (note the show more restore point box)

  This means that the folder you want to create is blocked because of file permissions. The drive or folder you are trying to create the destination folder is set to read-only, and your username does not have write permissions.

• ThinApp applications creating files at runtime and unable to locate

  I'm pretty new in the ThinApp world and I try to thin app, an app that creates a worksheet excel when you open a form, and then bed of this worksheet to do some calculations. The problem is when the form is created, it errors saying that it can find the created file. The file is used in the calculations for the portion of the calculator application does nothing. I see the file being created in the % drive_c%/AppLocationDir/Reasources/Temp, is - it here the part of the insulation of the ini file comes into play?

  Sorry will close it. Found the underlying problem. Had to delete and recreate the structure of folders inside visual Studio. Rebuilt and Rethinapped and after it worked well. Thanks for the suggestions!

• Rendering of the beginner Speedgrade CC2015 problem. File parts result slow return.

  I used to the Premiere Pro for a number of years and started using Speedgrade.

  Initially, I used the Direct link functionality between the two, but when I got to export I don't think that my computer could process instructions (despite me having 16 GB of RAM and a top of the line mac book pro.) So, I decided to tackle the problem in a different way making the changes directly in Speedgrade before you export the file, and then import it into Premiere Pro for the final touch.

  The problem I have is the "Render" tab When I export the resulting .mov plays back in the slow movement, similar to the speed of the preview window in the tab "color." It looks like its about 5 frames per second!

  I'm sure it's a rookie mistake, but I don't see how to export at full speed? My original film is 25 fps.

  Ive looked for lynda.com and youtube, but to no avail...

Audio for me in Speedgrade is intermittent. At the time current Speedgrade does not allow me to hear the audio, however, Speedgrade even not load for me just know, I had to kick open. When the playback speed is slow or fast in the first, I look in the settings of the audio hardware. So if similar problems with Speedgrade, I look in Speedgrade preferences > sound > engine + device + frequency of mixture. Things like that, but I can't simulate, because of my rendering limits and no audio in Speedgrade myself problems.

  I'm under 7 Captivate, version 7.0.1.237 on a Windows 7 laptop.  I have problems of file directory.

  If I look at my directory of files using Windows Explorer, I see the following file:

  I have some problems creating a DB 10.2.0.4/11.1.0.7 on top of ASM 11.2.0.1 using dbca. I can't get past step 7 when I select the DSO as a storage device.
  
  Here are the steps I did:
  
  -Install a 2 11.2.0.1 with ASM and Clusterware node RAC cluster, it worked well.
  -Set the 'Compatibility DB' 10.1.0.0.0 on in ASM disk groups.
  -Installed and configured a 11.2.0.1 database on this cluster, this has worked.
  -Installed software DB at separate Oracle 10.2.0.1.
  -Updated installation of 10.2 to 10.2.0.4.
  -Installed software DB at separate Oracle 11.1.0.6.
  -Updated installation of 11.1 to 11.1.0.7.
  
  Now, when I run dbca (it produced both of the O_H 10.2 and 11.1) in step 7 in the wizard I select "Select ASM as storage" and then when I press Next, I get this error message:
  
  "DBCA couldn't start the ASM instance is configured on this node. To proceed with the creation of the database using ASM, you need the ASM instance to be operational. You want to re-create the ASM instance on that node? "
  
  In the dbca log file I see "ASM present but is not activated, user mark..."
  
  What should I do to be able to create a DB 10.2 on 11.2 ASM? I also tried to put TNS_ADMIN to the directory of network/admin under the grid infrastructure, however, this does not work eitther, I still get the same problem.
  
  Any ideas what are the measures that I have to do in order to create a 10.2 / 11.1 DB on top of 11.2 Grid Infrastructure?

  It seems that the problem is related to the following bug:

  Bug.8288940 (74) TB - CMP 11106 DBCA TRY TO START 11.2 ASM WHICH IS ALREADY in PLACE AND REPORT FAILURE

  After applying the hotfix 8288940 at home 10 g DB, the creation of data base RAC succeeded.
