Problem downloading on PS3 3.15 update

I downloaded the update, when the update has been installed it to 99% done and not finish the installation.  I let it sit for hours thinking it would end thereafter, but he still didn't.  Turn off the PS3 and he turned his back and it automatically starts the installation process, with the same result, that is 99% done and stops.  I repeated these steps several times with no luck.  Amybody have suggestions?

Sounds like a question of PS3. I had the head to the Sony PS3 support forums .

Restart your computer after uninstalling the existing version of the Support Assistant.

Download and install the latest version of the HPSA:

If the problem persists, you can try:

    • Open HPSA > click "updates and optimizations" (wording may slightly differ) >
    • Select them Updates settings and messages >

Under ' how would you like to receive updated software and messages from HP?

    • Select in the menu dropdown:

Search for updates, but let me choose whether to download and install them

Always in the updates and optimizations >

    • Check / initiate a list of available updates >
    • If the offending hotfix package is still listed, then click on it (maybe right-click?) and a value of 'Ignore' or 'hide' this package

    > Once 'Hidden', the package should not display longer towards the top of the list of available updates.

    Comment

In particular, it is the opinion of this Expert that you ban HPSA to download and install a BIOS update on your computer.  You should always, in the opinion of this Expert, look for the updates to the BIOS on the website of your computer and only download and install a BIOS update when the update is directly applicable to your situation or if you are having problems with your computer.

  • Download Windows XP Professional SP3 update installers?

I have an old computer running Windows XP Professional SP, and he needs an Ethernet card. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to buy one for her. Is it possible that I can download all the updates that are released for it and put them on a drive flash or something to install? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description, it seems that you are having problems with the installation of the updates you don't have ethernet card.

For the installation of Windows, the computer updates must be connected to the Windows Update server to search for updates. Unless you're connected to the Internet, you can not connect to the Windows Update server. Then I suggest that you use the media of Internet connection to check the updates, and install the updates.

I hope it helps. If you have any questions about Windows in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.

  • Problems with Vista start after the update of Norton.

I had problems with start-up since Norton updated and re-printing my subscription a few days ago.  Initially, the splash screen would freeze, I'll try to re-start, only to be refrozen.  After several attempts, with different amounts of time in between, I tried to start a 'normal', but are also intended to "launch fix."  Microsoft solution is to go back to "settings" before the new and improved Norton Security has been installed.  "Norton isn't too happy with this solution, warning: your firewall is disabled, you are vulnerable to all viruses known to humanity" and Norton resets security and the volley continues.  At some point, the screen may freeze, and I have to start all over again.  Had my Vista Home premium SP1 and SP2 installed this past year, patches and I have had no problems since, so far.  If anything is not easy?
