problem in creating a windows dvd

I've lost my windows DVD so thought to create an iso file and a new for that usb/dvd download tool i downloaded but the tool when given iso file shows that it is an iso file invalid... What is the iso problem or tool? If iso then where can I get the image file 32-bit windows premium 7? Please answer as soon as possible

Hello

Repeat the process:

Download the correct ISO file and make your own drive and use the product key located on the COA sticker.

http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-image-downloads.12325/page-2#post-124821

And here are instructions on how to burn ISO disk images:

http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/isorecorder.html

Then do a clean install:

http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-Windows-7-a.html

The COA sticker is either or in the battery compartment on the underside of the laptop.

With a desktop computer, it's on the side, the back or the top of the computer case.

By using the downloaded ISO file method can require the Activation of phone.

If it does require phone activation, do not follow Demand of Auto, but brace yourself for a real person explain as to what has been done for purposes of re-setup

"How to activate Windows 7 by phone '

http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/18715-activate-Windows-7-phone.html

The above method also requires that you go to your computer manufacturer's website > Support and downloads Section > locate your model number and operating system > then download and install the latest drivers for it.

  • Movies created with Windows DVD maker, hang up or restart

I used DVD maker several times in the past without this problem.  Recently, I tried to burn a DVD, and a 10-minute clip that was just started.  I reburned the DVD, without this clip, and at around the same point in time, is the same thing, is not the file.  I tried to burn another DVD, with all the clips of orignial, without any other files or programs, and this time there were several hang ups or reboots.  No idea what is happening and how to fix it?

Thank you for your comments.  I did not use Movie maker to make the DVD, I was using DVD maker and it has worked well in the past, with the same type of video files that I currently use. I don't think I did any changes since I modified a DVD burned, but it is possible.  I'll try to remove the filters and see what happens.

How can I fix my windows dvd creation? It will not convert and burn all the files to a dvd disc.

    Hi egelad,

    (1) you get an error message?

    (2) is this problem limited to only a specific video file format? Have you checked with different videos with different types of files?

Step 1: Change Windows DVD creation settings and check if the problem persists

Change Windows DVD Maker DVD-Video settings

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-Windows-DVD-Maker-DVD-video-settings

Step 2: Clean boot the computer, and try to burn (make sure that your burner software service is running while performing clean boot).

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.

    If the problem persists,

Step 3: check the Event Viewer logs and check the application and the module that fails to load. See the links below for the steps and let me know

    Open event viewer

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/open-Event-Viewer

What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

If you try to convert a video file in a different format, you can do this using Windows DVD Maker, you can use third party software to do this.

  • I burned a dvd using windows dvd creation, when I watch it, after the first 20 minutes, that the image becomes almost black and white with pink exaggeratted shadows. WHY?

I am compiling my football teams game film.  I created a dvd using Windows DVD Maker.  Each game is a single video file to AVI format.  When I preview the video, no problem. After having carved, (2 trials) when I watch the DVD, the menu screens look good, the video of the first part looks fine, but from second game, or of the stage, the video quality changes.  The video becomes almost black and white.  The shadows and the highlights of the video seem to be exaggerated and that they are pink color.  It seems to be an effect of video editing, but I did no changes to the video features.  Help.

  • Windows DVD Maker error message unknown

This is a frustrating problem I have with Windows DVD Maker that no one can seem to explain. I have a new computer, less than a month, running Windows 7. I tried to burn clips of film on DVD for various friends and family. I have finished 3 or 4 DVD with success. All of a sudden, during the burning process, I get to a point approximately 0.3 to 0.4 percent encoded when I get an error message that the DVD cannot be done due to an unspecified error. All that fresh, new, with the package of disk I'm trying to use ends up with the same message. The clips have not changed, filters have not changed, settings have not changed, I just did with some success without problem, now, all of a sudden, it cannot burn discs more. That's happened?  What should I do about it?

    Hello

Follow these steps and check whether the problem is resolved.

    Method 1:

Try to increase your capacity of RAm on your computer and check if it solves the problem.

    Method 2:

You can follow this link forum below.

    Method 3:

This question (and others) can be caused by a video filter that might be using the file. To work around this problem, you can try to disable one or more video filters in Windows DVD Maker. For more information on the video and rotating filters or desactiver disable in Windows DVD Maker, see video filters in Windows DVD Maker: frequently asked questions.

To enable the filters, off, or to restore the default list of filters:

    1. open Windows DVD Maker by clicking on the button start the picture of the Start button. In the search box, type DVD Maker and then in the list of results, click Windows DVD creation.
    2. in the turn your digital memories in a DVD page, click Choose photos and videos.
    3. on the Add pictures and video to the DVD page, click Options.
    4. click on the Compatibility tab.
    5. do one of the following:
    * To turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the filter name.
    * To enable a filter, select the check box next to the filter name.
    * To restore the default list, click on restore all default values.

When you restore the default settings, the list and the filters settings are given to the last known good setting.

    6. click OK to close the DVD Options dialog box, and then continue to make your DVD.

  • Creating Windows DVD - decoding problem?

    Hello.

Recently, I tried to use Windows DVD Maker for the first time. Files added in the right menu and I could create a menu and listen to excerpts from the DVD. When I click on the button to burn, however, the DVD does that make to 1.7% full and watch then say error message:
"One or more files that have been added in DVD Maker may not be decoded properly. Make sure you have decoding software installed on your computer that can decode the different files and then try again. »
Windows Vista Home Premium is supposed to come with software decoding (I think), and I can't seem to find a way to solve the problem. Maybe I need new software decoding? I don't know if I'm just on the obvious or not.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Too bad. Thanks for all your help, but I solved the problem today.
It turns out that this filmmaker of windows does support not either of the types of files that I used (.avi and .mov). They do not also support many other file types. He had to be a .wmv file format.
I now use a new software to burn discs, because like that I don't meet problems in the future when you work with video from various sources.
Two of the software I know who can solve the problem are Nero 9 and Adobe first Elements 7. (Just in case someone else runs into this same problem).

  • Problem creating Windows DVD? Or Windows Movie Maker problem?

Hello!  I created a slide show in Windows Movie Maker, which plays on my computer without problem.  Now, I try to burn it to a DVD by using the Windows DVD authoring application.  I was able to burn my DVDs sucessfully using the wizard and when I put it in the DVD player I get the main menu I created.

I press play and start my video, but he plays 16 seconds and everything goes black.  Time continues to roll until the full 3 minutes are up, but I have 16 seconds of my film.  I burned 3 DVD and it did the same thing.

Can someone help me with what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi Khsb14,

Have a. you been able to watch the video before burning?

    B. did burn the DVD?

    C. is the DVD burner connected properly

    D. is the audio work after the 16th s?

    E. do you have a mistake when he went to the black screen?

This could be a problem with the burner DVD or the method of engraving. Try the following methods.

    Method 1

Previewing your DVD, you can view the photos and videos on this subject. Check if the full video is seen in the preview. This can help you determine if you want to make changes to the DVD before burning the disc.

    1. In the ready to burn DVD page, click Preview.
    2. To read the DVD preview, click play in the control screen.
    3. To control the playback, click Pause , play , previous chapter or next chapter , according to what you want to do.
    4. To display the DVD menu, click Menu. Click on the top, bottom, right, or arrows left to go in this direction on the DVD menu preview, and then click the Enter button to play the selected menu item. Click OK when you are done previewing the DVD.

Check the link for more information.

I'm having a problem with Windows DVD Maker.  After the DVD was burned, the menu pictures and video clips are on half top of the screen and it gives a green bottom half of the screen.  When I preview before I actually burning the DVD, it looks great, but after that the DVD is burned, it flattens the peak to the top of the screen.  I tried changing every setting in there, but he continues to squeeze the image in the menu at the top of the screen.  The DVD is very good, but the menu is messed up.  Any help would be great.  Y at - it a update or something that could help solve this problem?

  • Cannot create Windows DVD, burning the disc - Satellite L350

Can someone help I'm on a Toshiba satellite L350
I'm trying to burn a DVD with Windows DVD maker. It is the fourth I've done and the previous ones were all OK.

I can't burn the DVD, I tried both types of disc and made about 10 attempts today.
When I try to burn it starts OK then I get about 34% and get an error message

I had two different error messages, it says "cannot create the DVD error unspecified.". "
The other says "cannot create DVD catastrophic failure"

As Akuma wrote, it can be a problem creating Windows DVD and has nothing to do with the functionality of optical disc drive. It is good to check the updates.

Can you test the WEIRD feature using a different burning application?
