  I'm new to this forum, and I have a problem. I can access is no longer the site http://mobile.blackberry.com from my Blackberry curve 8900 for two weeks. Everytime I try to log in, from the bb browser or Opera mini browser, a message is displayed indicating that this is a non-blackberry page. the text of the page indicates that "Unfortunately, your current device and/or browser is not compatible for this site." What should I do to access the site from my Blackberry to download stuff. I have the latest version of the software that I installed today thinking it solve my problem, but to no avail. Can someone help me?

  I suggest you open the browser, the functioning of the menu key cache, clear all categories.

• Problems with update and restore blackBerry Smartphones

  Hello I'm a newbie here, but have some problems with BB Bold 9900 updated.

  During the update alls datas were recorded as usual during restart the BB there's an error to come, means that BB lost its operating system. I used the tips here and somwhere else to restore successfully. Unfortunately the data stored during the update process have not restored, even if the file already exists on my PC.

  The file is called LoaderBackup-(2013-09-26) .bbb - so almost similar to the usual backup file.

  Ho do I restore the data now?

  I'm trying to get the date system.

  I use the Format Date/time string in a "%Y %m %d' format.

  The PROBLEM is the Format Date/time string return "YYYYMMDD" only.

  Please see my attachment to see.

  Please help me with this, whenever I encounter this problem it force to reinstall labview program.

• Date system invalid in Armada E500 - bad RTC battery?

  After you unplug the AC adapter and remove the main battery to an Armada E500 laptop to replace a damaged LCD screen, I rebooted the computer and received a message from Windows XP, saying the date system and the time were not valid. I tried to set the date and time, turn off the computer, remove the adapter and the main battery for a few minutes, and then start the computer again and once more the date system and the time were not valid. Is this normal? If this isn't the case, it means more or less unequivocally that the RTC battery is bad? Or y at - it a good way to test if the problem is a faulty battery of the CCF, short all just buy a new one and see if it solves the problem?

  Yes... the battery is bad... and you can test it and see if the viltage is in spec... but replace it with the sounds of it...

  because the battery is usually only good for appox 5 years... they can go any longer... and this laptop is on the mark of 5 years

  I want to get an another mobile blackberry GPS information in my laptop. (My GPS position is also followed in my laptop. So only mobile blackberry capable of monitoring more than one GPS position at a time? OR is - this good get the GPS location of other similar phones by some other communication features ping message? (OR any other way simplified for this?) I also need the data with good accuracy and value must be updated in certain fast interval.

  The only way you'll be able to get this information in a generic way is to have a program on the device that meets your demands (you could send an SMS asking for example), or sending data to a server you can then query.

  There is no API that you can use to find out where is an another BlackBerry.

  I'm on a limited package data on mobile. When I use the data on mobile, it's ok. But, when I connect my phone to the computer, the services of agencies use more data than me. For example, I sail around 20 MB and the system is using 80 MB of my 3 G data connection.

  I have disabled the Windows Update temporarily. But even after that, my PC running Windows 7 is to consume more data. Is it possible to stop system services that use the internet?

  I could control the service using resource monitor, but I can't stop them.

  I want a program or software that lets only Internet Explorer (IE) IE browser to use internet (and no other service does use the internet.)

  I am currently using a Torch 9800 on my old Dell using Microsoft Outlook 2003.  I just bought a new Dell computer and installed Microsoft Office 2010 with Outlook.  I would like to transfer all my data from my BlackBerry Torch / Outlook to my new computer.

  Can I install BlackBerry desktop on my new computer and just sync with my flashlight or do I make a back-up to my old computer and restore the backup file to my new computer?

  It depends on what everything you want moved. You can google for more information about how to transfer all your Outlook, including mail settings and all of your PIM data.

  If it's just the calendar, tasks and address book data, then if your BB has everything you want on it, then you can install BDS on the new computer and set up a synchronization one-way system your BB to Outlook to transfer everything in the new perspective. Once it is on both devices settings of two-way synchronization.

  I would like to make a backup of your BB before you do any synchronization to a new computer, just in case where you screw up the sync and removes the BB PIM data.

• Satellite C40D-C - problems with the system

  I recently bought an a toshiba satellite C40D-C Series notebook PC as my old satellite - essentially - is dying. After you connect to the internet, I tried to download AVG Antivirus on my computer that I don't have - and never - trust McAfee anti-virus that comes with the computer. Every time downloaded AVG then restart my computer, the computer goes directly into the automatic repair system and doesn't let me do anything but to reset or restore. This has happened even with completely removed McAfee. I've been on AVG directly today (January 15), and they have to do remote set-up for me - with the same results. Yes, I'm aware that McAfee is a selfish cry of a system and refuses to acknowledge any other antivirus, but that this issue happens even with completely removed McAfee shows clearly that it is something that Toshiba has worked in the system. I can't even disable the automatic repair tool. I have to be stuck with a McAfee antivirus which, moreover, does not yet or is Toshiba will make an effort to help solve a problem they caused?

  I Qosmio G30 - 148 who have Windows XP MCE, trying to download some system programs crashed and make automatic restart.

  I then used a RECOVERY CD to recover my system all and followed the instructions on the CD but when finished and restart the system, a famous blue screen telling me there is a problem in my system and windows must be restarted.

  When restarting in safe mode, it is a message telling me that the system is not fully installed. Please, rerun the Setup program.

  You are right. It's a really strange problem. I don't know if you use some external devices but before you start recovery procedure please remove all connected devices.
  The fact is that this recovery image is designed for this model of laptop and the specific hardware configuration. If the BSOD occurs after the installation of the image it takes little hardware related issue.

  I don't really have any other explanation. Problem is that no one here will be able to offer an accurate diagnosis, and we can only speculate what may be the problem.

  Try to do it again to the recovery facility, but if the problem persists I fear that you need professional help.
