  Hello friends. Recently I came across the same problem identified by many with a Dell Inspiron 15R laptop 7520 with the Dell Wireless 1703 (Atheros chipset).   Hi all.  I seem to have problems keeping straight time with my XP Mode VM under Win 7 Pro64.

  To the EAST, 2000 server is set to active TimeZones.  (Yes, it's old, we know!)
  My Win7 box is set to the active EAST of TimeZones.
  My computer XP mode virtual running under Win7 is set with DST enabled East.

  The server time is right.
  The time of Win7 is right.
  The XP VM is 1 hour late, and I can't change the time manually. (Jumps to 1 time in seconds)
  Files modified on the XP VM and stored on the server get time stamped 2 hours before the current time.
