Problem of Smartphone OS 4.5 upgrade blackBerry...

Hey guys

I need help.  My GF just successfully upgraded its curve for the new OS, however later his phone was just a white screen with the hour glass in the middle.  I don't know what this means, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Gavin

During the loading process, made a pop box until you say that loading is complete? I let it hourglass for perhaps 30 mins. If nothing happens in this test of time performing a hard reset to remove the battery for 30 seconds and replace it. See if the device starts later. If it does not just through the Application Loader to reload the software and you'll be all set.

  • Problem of Smartphones Unknown connection to BIS blackBerry

I have a big problem with my BB 9900. It doesn't matter what the BIS connectivity does not work. I bought this phone because my 9970 was a bit small and now I can't use it. After that 9 hours to solve the problem, I'm disappointed. My support provider Orange Romania has said it's no problem with the sim card or the services of bb, but when I try to register my device using the host Routing Table nothing happends. In the service books I don't get yahoo or BIS service books. When I try to make an account on the web Configurator page I get an error because of the PIN device. Is it possible that this could be the problem, and so what can so do? PS I wiped the device at least 8 times and reinstalled the latest firmware. Thank you.

That's what I got when was trying to create an account on the page Web of Vodafone UK. What should I do? Pls help me.

    Cannot create account:

Your BlackBerry® Internet Service account is suspended or disabled. Please contact
Vodafone UK to 191 (from a Vodafone mobile), or 08700 700 191 (if you call of the)
    (UK), + 44 7836 191 191 or (if calling from abroad)

Well, since you said that your operator is Orange Romania, trying to set up for Vodafone UK is a bit confusing...

Maybe you bought this BB 2nd hand? If so, then it may be that a BIS account still exists for it on another medium... and a BB can have that one BIS account anywhere in the world. So, until he is released from this other company, you cannot create an account for elsewhere. If only other carrier is Vodafone UK, then the message you received is clear... they have, for any reason, suspended or disabled, but not loose their system, what will prevent any other company to create a BIS account for her. You need to talk to this another carrier to find out if there is no hope... and there is no guarantee... it can never work anywhere.

    Good luck!

  • Problems of Smartphones BB 9800 Torch for blackBerry battery life - 7 h max

    Hello world

I got the new torch for less than a week now. He began to have problems of major battery two days ago. I can get about 7: 00 course emails collection now (with about a phonecall) until the battery is completely dead. I have the phone set for 2G only with GPS off.

I called the carrier and they say they'll send a new phone only (no battery) as soon as possible because they think that the problem is the phone. Apparently the BB now sees the phone and battery as two separate components, and rather than ship a new group by phone and battery, they ship only one...

Someone at - it elsewhere in the United Kingdom / United States have had problems with the battery? Is this a known fault? I thought that the autonomy of the torch was supposed to be amazing...

I use the phone for business and if it's something like the storm (I returned and exchanged against of the 9000 "BOLD"), he must go back and be replaced by something reliable like the 9000 "BOLD".

    Thank you very much

Here is my experience of Torch 9800 battery life and the "fix."  Again, out of the box, battery life was fine, I started to add applications and in the coming days the life drained dough at a rate of about 5% every 15 minutes. I've always done so that all applications have been stopped (with the exception of those who must run as electronic mail, etc.), but found no difference. I uninstalled applications, with the exception of a called automatic locking that allows swipe to unlock the screen.  Yet, with no luck, I did a complete reset to factory settings and found my problem solved. I reinstalled since all applications except AutoLock, I have the wifi and Bluetooth on and always excellent autonomy - no complaints whatsoever!  I installed a screen similar locking program called SwipeLock and still no problems.  I have my screen set at 10% and autodim.  Therefore, if AutoLock is the culprit, or there was something else, the origin of the problem, that I don't know, but I hope that if you follow the same path that I describe above, who is she to back out of the default zone, it should solve the problem - at least that has been my experience.

  • Problem of Smartphones with BlackBerry Presenter Torch blackBerry 9810

I'm trying to set up my Torch 9810 to work with a BlackBerry Presenter.  According to presenter page ( www.blackberry.com/presenter/ ), the Torch 9810 is supported, but when I try to install the software on my phone I get a message that says that my phone is not supported.  (This happens regardless of whether if I try to install the software OTA or via BlackBerry Desktop).

I don't know if the ' Torch 9810 is supported / Oops, no it is not "is just another example of the occasional schizophrenia of RIM, or if there is a problem with my phone.  (According to BlackBerry Desktop, it runs the latest version of the operating system 7.)

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry sync with Outlook 2007.

I was sync my "BOLD" with none of the problems of all founded. When I tried it sync today, the program stops saying that there is a mistake as soon as he tries to synchronize the calendar.

    Someone had this problem today?

I have a BlackBerry Bold, Outlook 2007 and BB Desktop Manager 5.0

I think they meant you could try to wipe the device. Just note that by doing this, ALL data on your device will be wiped. Do you want to go into the Options | Security options | General settings. In this screen, you click on the menu button and select wipe Handheld.

My suggestion would be to try just to clear the Calendar database. To do this, you open the Desktop Manager and go to the backup and restore icon. Then click on the Advanced button. On the right side you will see all the databases on your BlackBerry. Then you can simply select the Calendar database and press the Clear button. This will keep everything in tact and erase all your device calendar entries.

After that's done you can try to synchronize again.

  • Problems with sleep and stopped after upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello

So I'm going to sleep problems and stop once I have upgraded to Windows 10 laptop won't sleep or stop correctly. The screen turns off, but the power LED remains lit and fan as well. If I chose the sleep he wakes up little matter what I try, and I have to make a hard stop at every time.

    Any solution to this problem?

    Thank you.

    1. Download version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.
    2. Download the Package of troubleshooting Windows 10 "show or hide updates" (http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab).
    3. Change the Windows Update Services automatic (delayed start) parameter to the manual.
      • In Control Panel, select administrative tools, and open Services.
      • Go to Windows Update and double-click it to view its properties.
      • Click on stop to stop the service to run.
      • Change the Startup Type to manual, and then click OK.
    4. Install version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.  If you receive a warning dialog box about the replacement of a newer version of the software, accept it.
      • NOTE: You have NO need to uninstall version 11 before installing version 9 or 10.  The presence of a version of the driver is required to 'upgrade' (or demote in this case).
    5. Run the Windows 10 Troubleshooting Package 'Show or hide updates' and hide the updates of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.  (This will block your system automatically reinstall or display of updates for version 11 of the pilot).
    6. Change back the setting of Windows Update Services to manual automatic (delayed start).
    7. Restart your computer.
    8. Rejoice!  You can finally sleep and stop again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Storm v5.0 upgrade email synchronization problem

I have recently upgraded my storm to v5.0 and everything worked fine except one thing.  My email no longer works.  I have my hotmail address here and there the e-mails I received before I upgraded, but I can not new (tried to download the blackberry app Center FB app).  It's in my email on hotmail account, it's just not on my blackberry.  I hope this is clear enough.

Oh, also if I go to configure, and then click the installation email it gives me an error "your device had a problem connecting to the server.  Everything else works FINE.

1 thing more independent, how can I get the keyboard too proportionate on my home screen to disappear?  No need to have a background image if it is covered by a keyboard!

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

For your mail problems two electronic, follow these steps:

    (1) HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (this isn't matte which line is highlighted) > register now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

I'm curious to know how DL'ing your Hotmail email problem and FB are related... I'm probably missing something...

For the keyboard... I don't quite know what you see... can you describe better? I've not seen this behavior... However:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

There remove the update App and reloading. We checked his Blackberry ID and he is OK with the password. He tried to remove the 7.0 upgrade and an earlier version, but when he tried to find I have to load it, it loaded automatically the version 7.0.

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry 9900 - just upgraded to Ver 7 bundle 2406

I have recently upgraded to ver 7 bundle 2406 on a 9900 (only because the icon appeared on my screen). Since then, I have experienced a problem during phone calls... he sometimes composed of a contact in the middle of a call secondary phone number. It doesn't happen every time, but it happened 10 to 15 times within 3 days. I'm in the middle of a conversation and suddenly it sounds thanks to another telephone associated with this contact number.

At first I thought that I was accidentally activate the touch screen in a certain way. I'm certainly not. After it happens the first time, I was very careful and it's always the case. Is this a known issue?  As a side note, my battery seems to be draining fastest since the upgrade. These two issues are very frustrating.

Sorry, you have problems with this.  To downgrade, in the Desktop Manager it shoud be a view another button versions when you click on update my device.  Choose the old version and proceed with the downgrade.  Another option is to take it to the store and let rogers it downgrade for you and watch the face of the dial.

  • Upgrade problems Smartphones Torch 9800 OS 6 blackBerry

I also have problems with my torch because the OS has been upgraded to the latest version 6.  My battery life is atrocious.  An hourglass appears constantly on my screen, as if a huge program runs in the background.  My career has replaced my phone 3 times!  as soon as the software updates, the problem comes back immediately.  BB took ownership of this issue?  How can I talk to someone at BB without having to pay an arm and a leg?  (carrier has good intentions, but not trained to deal with this)

The blue sections of my post above hyperlinked to the appropriate places, including the site of BBSAK.

Don't know what the specialist has do you.  There is a cup of "wipes", one being a wipe of 'security', which involves restoring the device to its default settings, leaving the BONES intact.  The wipe I have described is completely remove the operating system of the device and starting from scratch, which is sometimes necessary to empty of any 'cobwebs' that could survive a traditional OS upgrade.

  • Problem UI Smartphones blackBerry after upgrade

Just upgraded my storm yesterday and when I have the phone in horizontal position, 50% of the icons (on the initial screen) on the extreme left and extreme right are not visible.  There is a white band that scrolls up and down with the touch screen.  Is there a way to fix this or try a new upgrade?

I'm having the same problem.  I used a theme I purchased.  I return to the default setting, and I'm not having the problem now.

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones with the new upgrade to 6.0 software bundle 2534 v6.0.0.570

Hi - I hope someone can help me with this:

I have synced my Bold 9700 with my office yesterday and the Office Manager asked that I have to perform a software upgrade for the device.

When my BB 9700 had fully charged this process, there was a completely different interface and a lot of my settings were changed. I did not have enough time to examine in detail all the changes, but the most annoying is the loss of my 'classic' ringtone I went into the menu for ringtones, which seems to have lost weight considerably from the previous version. The new series of rings are not to my taste and there is nothing like ringing of old boy available. Rings of the closest only once and the volume is not enough - I already missed several calls as a result.

I'm with O2 through the Carphone Warehouse, which the customer could not attend yesterday.

Grateful for any advice on how I can get my ringtone back - and also curious to know why the BB the new ring tones are good enough for this new version. They are declassified in my opinion.

    Thank you very much

Use your BlackBerry browser to access this URL below and download the pack of old ringtone OS5.

  • Handheld computers upgrading blackBerry Smartphones cause some problems

I support a company that has 5 BlackBerrys. They just recently updated to the Curve 9330 handheld. I went through the backup process of the old phones, restore data for new phones and then by setting up their accounts in BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Now, only one user is having problems with not receiving emails sporadically. Initially, the user could not receive e-mail from within their organization, then the user could receive emails from inside of their organization, but not yet all. Then the question reverses to not be able to receive e-mail from outside the organization.

The Organization has an Active Directory domain with a Spam filter. I checked that I can send an email to my email account to the user successfully and that there are no emails stuck in the junk e-mail filter to anyone the user sent an email.

    Any ideas on this issue?

I am replying to my own message and resolve the issue at the same time.

I found that the BlackBerry has an option to select folders that are created in an Inbox of users for the transfer to the BlackBerry. In short, by default, if a user has Outlook configured with several records in their Inbox for Joe, Sally, Bill, etc and the rules set up to send emails from them to these folders and the folder redirection on the BlackBerry handheld must be configured. This will allow emails that are entered by Outlook rules first to be sent to the BlackBerry.

My users are using BlackBerry Curve 9330 s and Verizon as their Service provider...

-In the home screen (with the Red Verizon check) select Messages
-Once the messages are to ensure that the date is highlighted at the top of the screen and press the BlackBerry button (left of the big black button in the middle of the phone)
-Select Options at the bottom of the menu
-Once the Options menu appears, select the email settings
-Once in the email settings Menu, press the BlackBerry button and select the Folder Redirection
-Once the Redirection Menu of folder is displayed select Inbox and press the black button to expand
-Once the Inbox is expanded highlight each subfolder and click it to select it for the Folder Redirection
-Once all desired files are selected press the BlackBerry button and click Save
-Save all the folders that have been selected and cause all email sent to these folders in Outlook to be sent to the BlackBerry

-Also if you press the BlackBerry button in Folder Redirection menu and select 'Select all' then all records in this menu will be selected and all emails will be forwarded to the BlackBerry

    Have fun!

  • Problems of Smartphones 9800 blackBerry with e-mail upgrade

Recently, I've migrated from the Blackberry Curve to the 9800.  Now I feel bad to send emails.  Text messages work fine, however, when I send emails (including myself), I get a a status icon next to the message displaying a box of red square with the letter "L", red in the middle.  The message does not get sent.  I don't know how to resolve this error, or what means this icon.

    Thanks for any help.

    Marcia

Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This clear all cache as restart and update the host Routing Table.

Your old card SIM does support 3g? try to change the signal to 2g and see if it persists.
