Problem of Smartphones Unknown connection to BIS blackBerry

I have a big problem with my BB 9900. It doesn't matter what the BIS connectivity does not work. I bought this phone because my 9970 was a bit small and now I can't use it. After that 9 hours to solve the problem, I'm disappointed. My support provider Orange Romania has said it's no problem with the sim card or the services of bb, but when I try to register my device using the host Routing Table nothing happends. In the service books I don't get yahoo or BIS service books. When I try to make an account on the web Configurator page I get an error because of the PIN device. Is it possible that this could be the problem, and so what can so do? PS I wiped the device at least 8 times and reinstalled the latest firmware. Thank you.

That's what I got when was trying to create an account on the page Web of Vodafone UK. What should I do? Pls help me.

Cannot create account:

Your BlackBerry® Internet Service account is suspended or disabled. Please contact
Vodafone UK to 191 (from a Vodafone mobile), or 08700 700 191 (if you call of the)
(UK), + 44 7836 191 191 or (if calling from abroad)

Well, since you said that your operator is Orange Romania, trying to set up for Vodafone UK is a bit confusing...

Maybe you bought this BB 2nd hand? If so, then it may be that a BIS account still exists for it on another medium... and a BB can have that one BIS account anywhere in the world. So, until he is released from this other company, you cannot create an account for elsewhere. If only other carrier is Vodafone UK, then the message you received is clear... they have, for any reason, suspended or disabled, but not loose their system, what will prevent any other company to create a BIS account for her. You need to talk to this another carrier to find out if there is no hope... and there is no guarantee... it can never work anywhere.

Good luck!

    Hello

I have problems activating BIS on my bold 9650.

    Info on the device:

I bought the power off of best sellers on ebay (a 99.7% feedback and has sold about 50 of the same features so far). It's only a Verizon unlocked BB Bold 9650.

I recorded on my carrier unit. Contacted the carrier several times and they say that my BIS has been activated. But it says "edge" in the small and BIS status as not connected.

    Things I've tried so far:

    (1) tried my SIM on a friend BB and BIS very well

    (2) tried several times battery pull... no use

    (3) recorded from the host routing table... said "The registration message sent" but no response

    (4) my HRT and Service books are empty

    (5) have parameters of GSM/UMTS network, automatic, 2 G

    (6) data services are turned on

    (7) firewall disabled and no IT strategy

    (8) wiping device I tried twice

    (9) tried to create a new account on my Service proider BIS registration site... He says that my device is not registered with the service provider

  • Problems of Smartphones BB 9800 Torch for blackBerry battery life - 7 h max

    Hello world

I got the new torch for less than a week now. He began to have problems of major battery two days ago. I can get about 7: 00 course emails collection now (with about a phonecall) until the battery is completely dead. I have the phone set for 2G only with GPS off.

I called the carrier and they say they'll send a new phone only (no battery) as soon as possible because they think that the problem is the phone. Apparently the BB now sees the phone and battery as two separate components, and rather than ship a new group by phone and battery, they ship only one...

Someone at - it elsewhere in the United Kingdom / United States have had problems with the battery? Is this a known fault? I thought that the autonomy of the torch was supposed to be amazing...

I use the phone for business and if it's something like the storm (I returned and exchanged against of the 9000 "BOLD"), he must go back and be replaced by something reliable like the 9000 "BOLD".

    Thank you very much

    gambadeurs

Here is my experience of Torch 9800 battery life and the "fix."  Again, out of the box, battery life was fine, I started to add applications and in the coming days the life drained dough at a rate of about 5% every 15 minutes. I've always done so that all applications have been stopped (with the exception of those who must run as electronic mail, etc.), but found no difference. I uninstalled applications, with the exception of a called automatic locking that allows swipe to unlock the screen.  Yet, with no luck, I did a complete reset to factory settings and found my problem solved. I reinstalled since all applications except AutoLock, I have the wifi and Bluetooth on and always excellent autonomy - no complaints whatsoever!  I installed a screen similar locking program called SwipeLock and still no problems.  I have my screen set at 10% and autodim.  Therefore, if AutoLock is the culprit, or there was something else, the origin of the problem, that I don't know, but I hope that if you follow the same path that I describe above, who is she to back out of the default zone, it should solve the problem - at least that has been my experience.

  • Problem of Smartphone OS 4.5 upgrade blackBerry...

    Hey guys

I need help.  My GF just successfully upgraded its curve for the new OS, however later his phone was just a white screen with the hour glass in the middle.  I don't know what this means, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Gavin

During the loading process, made a pop box until you say that loading is complete? I let it hourglass for perhaps 30 mins. If nothing happens in this test of time performing a hard reset to remove the battery for 30 seconds and replace it. See if the device starts later. If it does not just through the Application Loader to reload the software and you'll be all set.

    Hello

I suggest you follow the method and check if it helps.

Disable your anti-virus and check if that helps.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Massive problems of Smartphones blackBerry with BlackBerry BIS AppID World after passage of provider

    Hello

I recently changed suppliers and got a bunch of different problems since then. The old provider deleted my BIS account, which of course also disabled the functionality of messaging push on my BlackBerry. I tried to register a new account with my new provider, which has failed for unknown reasons. After several calls to my new hotline providers, they finally suggested to reset my BB to factory default and try saving again. After resetting, pretty much the first thing I was invited with was connecting BlackBerry id I used my old login and just after that, in the Mail Setup dialog box, got the error once again that there is a problem with the application server and I can't create or open a session with a BIS account. I was wondering how he could know my BIS account, so I made an another factory reset and this time created a new BlackBerry ID. This time everything went well past the new BIS account was created in a few seconds and a test mail was delivered to my device immediately. I was happy enough, until I noticed that I could not restore all my data of BlackBerry Protect because of the new BlackBerry ID. Also all my applications were gone from App World, which is linked to the BlackBerry ID as well. So what I was wondering is now

    (1) why did my BIS account linked to my BlackBerry ID,.

    (2) how can I remove the link it and use my new BIS account with my old BlackBerry ID and

    (3) if I can't do it, how can I get my BlackBerry Protect and App World purchases return data?

I would have preferred the first two questions were answered, because I do not know to change providers and, therefore, accounts of BIS is a fairly common thing, so there must be some make it right, right? I hope that there is a way to solve this problem, because if I have to choose between 'keep apps but live without email' and ' have push email and redeem all applications ", I would probably choose Android instead.

PS: I also tried to find a way to contact RIM, so they could disassociate my old account my ID BlackBerry BIS somehow, but there is really no such thing as "BlackBerry Support". The only thing I found was a button on the page of the App World for a refund etc, but then again, the link was dead.

Just a brief update in case that someone else gets desperate as me. After the last response from sdgardne (a big thank you, btw) I had given up hope, because I didn't want to waste any more time with incompetent personnel of my ISP. But in a last shot I've collected a bunch of addresses email on the web I thought somehow on the RIM support/customer relations and sent an email describing my problem to each of them. I didn't really do anything, but after two or three days, I got a response. A big very nice person said "that is not a problem at all, we have corrected your account. Everything you have to do now is to make a backup, security - wipe your smartphone and connect with your old ID BlackBerry. "That's what I did, and it all works perfectly, with my new BIS account AND my old apps hour

    Way to go RIM!

    My BIS begin to work.

Perhaps, you intend to say "stopped" working?

If you have a BlackBerry data plan on your service provider account, on your BlackBerry smartphone, go to:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

    Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • Problems of Smartphones from blackBerry to Blackberry App World Server connection

I got a new Storm2 9550 and some of my applications didn't work properly when transferred from my Storm 9530. Among them Blackberry App world gives me the error:

BlackBerry App World is having problems connecting to the Blackberry App World Server. Check your network connections, and then try again.

I downloaded and reinstalled app world several times that I can count to no effect. I rebooted my phone, returned my service books and re-entered my THS several times, and it's not helping.

Help, please. I need to reinstall some of the apps I got go to app world and I can't do it until the app world features.

In fact, I understood the question myself. Apparently when it is attached to the WIFI, Blackberry App World does not want to connect. When WIFI is off (or out of range) and I use Verizon EVDO network, App World works fine. The RIM should be looking at why App World will not work on a WIFI connection.

  • Problem connecting from my Blackberry Bold 9700 blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry App World

I'm having problems connecting to the Blackberry App World on my device I get "Fail to pass" message from appearing. Can you advise me what can I do to solve this problem.

    Thank you

It's sad. Carriers refusing to meet their contractual obligations. Clients have no free method to contact the RIM. Instead, carriers have the responsibility to provide all support front-line. If they don't understand, they want to escalate the case through their channels internal and possibly (if justified) to the bottom of the RIM. So they tell you to contact directly the RIM are, well, "sad", it is in more generous word I can come up with. I suggest you contact them and ask the escalation which are contractually committed to offer.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry does not connect to the blackberry World Server

    Hello

I have a BB9780. I got it as a set of second hand.

My service provider is Vodacom SA and I propose a package of BIS with them, they confirm that my package of their side has no problem.

I tried all the tips I've read on this Forum and still nothing helps.

I enter the BB app world and it tells me that 'Blackberry cannot connect to the blackberry world server.

Again this is not the side of my carrier form since they confirm that my package is open and usable.

I can get Temp to the BB app world via WiFi but lose the connection, and this isn't my WiFi as my laptop is still online when I am offline

    Help, please

Ok. Do not worry about the BES... This is Blackberry Enterprise Service and only for use by businesses. The setting we use is BIS... Blackberry Internet services. Unfortunately many networks will tell users that their BIS is connected when they did not. My advice is to ring the network, tell them where you looked, in the State. She shows very clearly your BIS is not connected and ask them to connect

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to install / check Blackberry Attachment Service on BIS?

Some of our BB users have recently noted that some attachments (PDF) are no longer visible on their BB Curve 3 G phone.  I found a lot of messages saying that the 'Blackberry Attachment Service' is required, but I couldn't identify this option in the application loader, even after installing the latest version of BB OS (version 6).

Is it possible to install this service on a BIS price or is it only available for BES users?

Or, if the upgrade to the latest version should be sufficient to stop some attachments in PDF not be visible?

I've identified the solution to our problem with some attachments being an "unknown type" on the Blackberry Curve 3 G.

The question is how the emails are sent, more precisely on our case by using Microsoft Outlook.

It seems that the problem is that if the email is sent in 'Rich text', that the Blackberry can NOT deal.

    The attachment appears as "winmail.dat."

If the emails are sent using HTML format or plain text the Blackberry then allows attachments to be read without any problem.

If you encounter the "the this type of attachment cannot be considered on the device" then it could have been sent to you in Rich Text format, I suggest you contact the sender and asking them to change the format.

I hope this helps, it was a nightmare trying to solve for me.
