Problem on sending email

My BB has two registered mails "email1" and "email2" and "email1" is a default gateway of my BB to send the message. But I want to send the message using "email2". But I am still receving email e-mail1. How can I solve the problem? I used setFrom() and setHeader(H) eader SENDER , emnail2) method of MessageClass. But nothing works. I use 8320.

Please help on this.

to send an e-mail, you will need to retrieve the session.
If you use getDefaultSession, you will always get the default session.

use getInstance (ServiceConfiguration sc) with sc that contains your second post.

I have problems when sending emails on Outlook Express (Windows XP Home) told in the Outbox, even if they were sent.  What can I do?

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. • I can't send emails in Thunderbird and I tried all suggested fixes that I can find!

I moved my old MacBook Pro to a new MacBook Pro Thunderbird (I've done it before without any problem).
I've updated Thunderbird on two laptops before I did - version 31.0
Race the new machine 10.9.4 Mavericks

I started to notice intermittent problems with sending email - this seemed to release when I opened my BT mail account (the account that "feeds" Thunderbird) and then resend the email in Thunderbird.
This "correction" has now stopped working and all what I continually get when you try to send the message:

    "Send the Error Message
The message cannot be sent because the connection to the server of SMTP mail.btinternet.com has failed.
The server is may be unavailable or refuses the SMTP connections. "(etc.).

I checked with Mozilla and BT forums/help pages, then went to Thunderbird > tools > account settings > outgoing Server (SMTP) > change

Then, I changed the settings to those recommended by BT and Mozilla:
    Server name: mail.btinternet.com
    Port - 465
    Security - SSL/TLS
    Authentication: normal password
    -User name (username)

I also tried many variations (including the original settings)
    Server name: mail.btinternet.com
    Port - 587
    Security - no
    Authentication: password transmitted not securely
    -User name (username)

I tried to remove my password and then redo the especially.
I tried to turn the router and turn it back on and redo the especially.
Nothing - apart from not being able to send email from Thunderbird works fine with incoming, I think really that I have tried everything I can. Can I remove my prefs - will this help? Is there something I missed? I wasted 4 hours and it feels like 4 days!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not very savvy computor but I travel a lot and need to send and receive emails on various wireless networks in hotels and offices. I can connect to the internet just fine and can receive my emails fine (I use microsoft Outlook), but on some wireless networks, I can't send emails. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Currently I am in New Caledonia last week and some problems with sending emails.

    Thank you

    Dave

    Hey,.

Unfortunately, I think that in this case you can do anything. It s depending on the Internet connection and router you can do. On some routers, you can block instant messengers for example. I think that on some routers port for e-mail programs is blocked so that you can t receive emails.

What you can ask the owner of this Internet connection. They can give you more details about it and what exactly is blocked.

  • Windows 8 Mail will not add account - email/password wrong and sending emails error

I experienced problems with the application Mail in Windows 8.

    SENDING EMAILS ERRORS

First of all, whenever I opened the application where I have a hotmail account and an office 365, a banner message would appear at the top saying there was a connection to my account error and messages could not be sent to this account and 'check with your provider.

Itself that question seems to have especially dressed with my hotmail account but it is on and off, this is the first problem.

In regards to sending emails to my office 365 account, that I had the same problem and when I don't have this problem, there is another.  When I send an email I have press the button send and it zoomed off the coast but then it is still sitting in the Outbox or send in fact even if you press edit, then press on send again.

    ERROR ADDING ACCOUNT

To try to rectify the email sending mistakes with my 365 office account, I deleted the app account and attempted to re-add.  I select the type of account 'Exchange' and get my correct email address and password but he always tells me that the password or email is incorrect.  I made sure these details are correct and they are, because they work when I login by normal web i.e. on Google Chrome.

How can I overcome this error?

    Please help - it's frustrating!

    Hi Caitlin,

Thank you for reporting this issue in the Microsoft Community Forums. As you are facing problems with sending emails and to add email account in the mail application, this can be caused if the Mail app is corrupt.

To resolve this problem, I suggest you to run Applications troubleshooting and check if that helps. If the problem persists, you can consult the online Help article, which has steps to update of the app, app Sync licenses and reinstall the application. See: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/what-troubleshoot-problems-app

Try the steps mentioned in the help article and let us know if that fixes the problem with the mail application.

  • I am having major problems with my emails. I can send emails OK but I can't receive them. I use Outlook Express.

I am having major problems with my emails.  I can send emails OK but I can't receive them.  I use Outlook Express.  When I first turn on outlook express, emails start coming, but then outlook express crashes.  I disable outlook express and start again. My emails are stuck in the Orange webmail box until the last email is downloaded.  This means that I sometimes get the same time to send four or five. I called technical support Orange several times, but they say it's a problem of microsoft. I use Windows XP.

original title: I can't receive emails from outlook express.

    Hi Mike,.

Make sure that you have not activated your antivirus software analysis of electronic mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 which is often a problem with receiving and sending a message.

Then, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and a new registry hive (where all the settings and account info is).  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If it sticks sometimes, make sure that you are not setting to check messages too often (like every 3 minutes or somesuch).  You can also try to increase the timeout for the server where this is a problem (Tools |) Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced).  See if who deals with issues "" OE gel.  If Yes, then you can use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

I do not know that moving to Outlook might solve the problem, because they both use the same mechanism to retrieve messages.  If you still have problems, come on and generate a log file and when OE freezes, which could give some indication of what is the underlying problem.  Make sure that you disable the log file later, because this file grows enormously and can cause problems if it becomes too large.

    Hello

You cannot use the system back restore more than you have Restore Points. The only one
Another option would be to return the system to its out of the box, as it was when
you received. So, it would be better reset your e-mail settings and check with
the support of your email provider.

  • Droid - problem sending Email - BIG PROBLEM for many!

I've been back for quite some time trying to set up my work email.   I got everything to work some time ago, except for sending, response or message transfer.  You can see my previous post on this regarding

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that I discovered, as apparently a lot of people will not be able to send, answer or transfer e-mails using their phone.

I talked to a technician at verizon who told me that verizon used to provide SMTP servers by courtesy, but no longer do.  I was told that I had to check my email provider to get their SMTP information.  Unfortunately, my e-mail provider does NOT provide SMTP servers.  So basically the tech told me that I won't be able to send, to meet or to transfer emails through my phone.  The technology could not tell me why verizon ceased to use the SMTP servers, but read quite a long list of some popular mail providers who don't provide the SMTP servers and so anyone who tries to use these emails would have the same problem as me and not be able to send emails through their phone (tech shook off a certain big email providers that do not provide the servers SMTP. For example, according to me, that said, that Comcast has no?) -. Anyway, apparently Blackberry provides its own email service, so if you have a Blackberry it wouldn't matter.  I'm quite surprised that the Droid is a smartphone, will not be able to send different emails to a large number of e-mail providers.  So my question, why verizon would stop providing SMTP servers so for many email providers, it is the only way you would be able to send e-mail.  Shouldn't the (Motorola), or verizon Droid, do something about it?  I think it is crazy enough to not be able to use your email on a smartphone, not to mention the most recent smartphones.  They should not get the same thing that Blackberry made so that you can send emails or verizon should not provide SMTP servers so that this could happen.  Fortunately for me I love the Droid for several other reasons, and it is not an absolute necessity to be able to send my work email (although it would make things a LOT easier), but I can def. see how that annoy people and get them to get another phone that allows them to use their electronic mail.
