  • OfficeJet G510g all in a commissioning

I recently changed the print cartridge black on the Officejet 4500 G510g printer model. Generally, a message appears to align the print cartridge. This time I noticed a message flashing on the lcd saying Turn Off and then back on. I tried to do, but the printer shuts completely. Got the blue power button flashing, message lcd saying warming up, then it would go back to flashing the error message saying still cut the power off the coast, and then turn it back on. tried to do this several times, even tried pulling on the power cord of power to kill. No help. Sometimes if I timed it right, I could get the blue button to set power, but when it is fed up, he returned to the same error message.  tried to disconnect ehernet - did not help. Tried to open doo printer during the warm-up and pulling print cartridges. Still no change. The printer is hardly guarantee Yes. Any ideas or this printer is dead? I noticed my pc was doing some updates of Windows during this period but no problem PC and disconnect the ethernet printer it should isolate printer.

I tried the old cartride before with no result, but had not tried a hard reset with the old cartridge. Hardm reset did not work with the new cartridge. I just reinstalled the old black cartridge and it crossed alignment OK, but had to use the default settings because it has more ink and does not print an alignment page. So far no error message! I guess the new cartridge is defective or I had a problem with the installation. I buy another new cartridge and try again. It it works, I'll accept the solution. Whatever it is - thanks for your help!

  • HP Officejet 4630: Problem installing HP Officejet 4630

    Hello

I hope someone in these forums can help me get my printer to work.  I currently have a HP Officejet 4630 who can no longer printer from my computer Windows 10, and I don't know why.  I first had the problem when I upgraded my old computer to 10 Windows, the computer sees the printer, but when it will install the drivers, it says that it cannot connect to the printer wirelessly or wired.  I can print to the printer from mobile devices (iPhone, iPad) simply not my main computer.  I have an older model HP Envy 120 that I can view and print for just fine, but it is my printer to work and I prefer not to use it for day to day general printing which is not a related work.  I think that it is a firewall problem, but to be honest, I don't know how, or what are the changes that I need to check if this is the problem.  When I look at the printer in printers and driver section, it says that the printer is not available and that no drivers are loaded to the printer.  I know that I need drivers, but continuous HP told me no printer is installed and custom install drivers for it.  Help, please

  • Problem with HP Officejet pro 8600 Mac parring

I've recently updated my OS to OSX 10.9.1 and have now lost my wifi connection. I downloaded the latest printer drivers from the net but without success - of the suggestions, anyone?

    Hi Mequetrece,

I understand that you have a 8600 Officejet which does not seem to connect with your Mac since the upgrade to 10.9. I will definitely do my best to help you with this problem.

I wish that you check and make sure that the printer has not lost its connection before try us something else. I would like you print a Network Configuration Page , and see if the printer is connected to your network and has an IP address valid. So which shows always connected, I would recommend power cycling your network. To do this, please turn off the Mac and the printer and wait until they are completely off. Then go to your router to remove 30 seconds before plugging plug it back in. Once all the lights are back to normal on the router, replace the Mac, and then on the printer and wait for them both to set before trying to print again.

If this does not work, you would be able to tell me, did you uninstall your software and reinstall after upgrade to 10.9 or are you still using possibly previous operating system software? (I know you said that you have downloaded the latest drivers, but I ask more for the portion of the question uninstalling )

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • Strange problem with HP OfficeJet 6500 709n

I have a very strange problem with my printer HP 6500 E709n wireless network.  I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and everything worked well.  Then, all of a sudden I wasn't able to scan more.  The HP Solution Center says that the printer is disconnected.

The weird part is that it appears in the section of Control Panel as active and properly connected printer and devices and I can still print to it, but not scan to it. He also says in the network section of the HP solutions center that the printer is connected and ready.  The printer is connected to my wireless network and I also use it with a Mac Mini.  The Mac can print and scan to it.

No idea why this is happening and how to fix it?  Thank you.

This problem of not being able to scan only started after upgrade to Windows 8?

If so, then to solve the problem, you must first uninstall the Windows 7 software and then reinstall the software of Windows 8 long.

To uninstall the software, follow these steps:

1 right-click or press on and hold the lower left corner of the screen, then click or type programs and features. A list of installed programs.
    2. click or tap the name of your HP printer, and then click or tap on uninstall.
    3. follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the software.

After you have uninstalled it, go ahead and download the full software features for your printer. It can be found on the link below.

Driver and HP Officejet Full Feature software

Install this version of the software and try to scan now!

Let me know if it works for you, good luck!

  • OfficeJet 4630: Problem printing with Officejet 4630

I just replaced an OJ4620, who was not black printing, with a new OJ4630.  I am now having a problem with the OJ4630.

It prints text most very well, but does not always print the Abobe reader messages.  I tried to install a printer driver for the 9800 without great success.  It seems that sometimes it will print the pages of Adobe, but most of the time will not.  I feel guest, and when I click on print, it does not appear that the message arrives at the printer.  The machine will then lock up and I'll have to reboot the system.  The thing that puzzles me is that sometimes the feeling will pass, but it doesn't seem to be a reason that I can understand why it happens.

I never had this problem with the 4620, but he feels now.

I have Adobe X and when I check the updates on the site, I thought there is not everything.

    Hi @Fran47,

    A few questions for you:

    • What happens when you make multiple copies? Copy the text or mixed Documents.
    • What happens when you print from other programs, such as Notepad. (The same issue happen?)
    • How is the printer connected? USB or wireless?

In the meantime, I suggest to try our HP print and Scan Doctorand see if that can solve the problem for you automatically.

  • at & t u-verse, & having problems connecting my Officejet 4500 to my current wireless network

    Hello

I just got an Officejet 4500, and I am unable to connect it to my current wireless network.  I'm AT & T U-Verse so I use 2Wire equipment.  I have a Mac Book Pro, and I'm on Mac OS X operating system 10.5.8.  When I try to connect, I get an error message saying something like "Failed to connect."

In the past, I had problems connecting my Airport Express to 2Wire.  In order to make it work, I connected the router 2Wire and changed the WPA - PSK (TKIP) security settings and WPA2 - PSK (AES) to just WPA2 - PSK (AES).  My Airport Express was able to connect without any problems.

Please help me to connect my Officejet 4500 to my 2Wire router.  I note also that I'm not really tech savvy so I need instructions are written in simple terms.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Tanisha Hey! Try as part of this support document: AT & T 2Wire routers: "Login failed" or "Can't find printer" Message, or cannot connect to a wireless network

  • Uninstall problems w/HP Officejet 5610 all-in - One Printer

I have a Dell E510 desktop on which I've recently updated my printer to a printer wireless HP Photsmart 7520. I am running Windows 7 32-bit professional, an Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz CPU with 4 GB (usable 3.24) RAM. The new printer worked for about two weeks, but developed problems. The previous printer, a HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one, began to send me questions, so I removed it, or so I thought. The physical device is out of the system, however, I can not uninstall the software.  I tried to uninstall using the uninstall feature, nothing helps. I tried to use the feature to remove programs from the Control Panel, also to nothing does not. These tasks have been tempted both before and after the physical removal of the device.

I keep getting error messages about the file being on a network that is not available. When I opened the printers and devices, the HP 5610 printer keeps appearing, no matter how many times I 'remove this device '. I believe that the two software are conflicting with each other. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can remove the printer HP Officejet 5610 to my system?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    John C. Morgan

    Hello jmorgan884,

I would like to offer a suggestion to uninstall the printer HP Officejet 5610 on your Windows 7 computer. I recently needed to tear a program on my computer and had problems as well, I was finally able to uninstall the software using Microsoft Fixit.

This application is compatible with your operating system, free and very easy to use. I would like to know if using the Microsoft Fixit allows to remove the software.

The problems that the programs cannot be installed or uninstalled

  • Power supply problem with HP officejet 4620

I just bought a Hp Officejet 4620 printer all-in-one. It works fine apart from a problem that is if I turn off the power by pressing on the button on the front of the printer, the power goes off. If I then try to turn on the machine it will not until I unplugged the power cable and then reinsert. I think I should be able to put the printer without having to unplug the power cable from each time I want to use it. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi - I think I have the same problem. At, first once I power off, the light on the back of the printer green power stays on and I turn again on OK. Later, the green light goes off and I have to unplug the power cable and plug it back before works the power button.

The power supply inside the printer is very loose, and I assumed that the issue was a faulty connection, especially since when I move around the light seems to sometimes get a lot brighter. I just replaced the printer and the power supply in the new looks the same, IE loose, so I replaced it again from a different source in case it is a batch production number. I read in a post "Photosmart 5510: brick of power inside the unit does not move" here which suggests in bulk may be normal.

I also read on power off and power on demand off, but as I put the wireless printer, these shouldn't have been activated, and in any case, I guess they should affect only the power button and should not require that you disconnect and reconnect the power cable.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one: problem of margin Officejet 4630

I need to have a few very small margins on a document.  Even if I set the margin to 0, when I print it is always about a 1/2 inch margin and cutting off content that shows well on the page mode.  I use a Mac with os x Yosemite.

    Help please!

    Hello @lauriekeys,

Thanks for getting back to me about this issue. I'm sorry to hear that the setting without borders could not solve your problem. Now, I'm going to make sure that your driver is properly installed on your Mac OS X 10.10 Operating System. On Mac OS X 10.10 sometimes a generic driver from Apple AirPrint will load on your printer and gives you only the basic printing functionality. To ensure that this is not the case, can I please have you perform the following steps:

    How to check the driver:

    1. click on the menu Apple and then click on System Preferences.

    2. click on Print & Scan

    3. click the name of your printer on the left side, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

    4. click the sign plus (), click Add a printer or a Scanner, click the name of your printer.

    5. click on the area of use or with the help of Print and then select the name of your printer in the context menu

    6. click Add to add the printer to the list.

    7. close Print & Scan

Once the correct HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer driver is checked during loading, please try printing your document again.

If the issue persists, please should I tell you:

    1. what type of program you are using to print the document with the small borders of?

    2. What size is the page that you print with small borders (letter, legal, 4 X 6, etc.)?

Please let me know if the steps I have provided resolve your problem of margins. I look forward to hear from you!
