• Problem strange Contact ringtone after update

  No matter how I set my settings when I get a call from a person (someone) in my contact list , I get a strange ring that is not yet listed as a ringer option.   I have not installed custom ringtones.

  Forgot Droid had a safe mode! Boot in SafeMode returned the correct tone. Using titanium backup, I froze the user applications installed one time until I found the culprit. It turned out to be Norton. Deleted the data for this app, restarted and now everything is back to normal!

  The option of 'Freeze' Titanium is great! Beats the heck out of uninstalling, then reinstalling applications.

  It would be easier if you use the Brush tool to paint on the layer mask.

  Paint with black to reveal the color and white to hide the color of the layer below.

  You can use the X key to move from one black and white as foreground color in the Toolbox.

  If you add a layer mask > hide all, or invert the layer mask if you are using a layer mask > show all (even just by clicking on the button layer mask), just use Ctrl > I (Image > adjustments > invert) to reverse the layer mask.

  So you probably won't see this issue.

  You are more or less correct. When you use the MPE material, you enable (and there is no way to selectively disable) treatment of color/light linear. When you have a not-so-clean key, as you mentioned, the partially transparent alpha is composed differently in the context that if you were to use the default colors in software mode MPE treatment.   When you have more than one player loaded in memory appears this extrange with volume behavior.
