Problem updating the database

After the user has entered data, he can click on a link. This link sends in another web site.
My goal is the following:
When the user clicks on the link, you must perform two actions:
-first of all, insert the data in the database,
-Then, click on the link.
I have not found a way to make these 2 jobs running after the user clicks on the link.
Someone has to help me with that?
Thank you very much.

I use Dreamweaver.
The screen give me the possibility to select a string and set the address of the link (in the Panel of decorum).
So I enter the address of the external web site.
I don't know how I can then insert my record in the database? Is it possible to associate a php script with onclick on the link action?
Thanks a lot for your help.

  • E250 crashes to update the database

OK, so I went and re - sync my player the other day.  Since then, when I turn it on, it starts to update the database, and then the screen goes crazy.  Nothing but colored lines.  I can stop, but it will do so when turned on.  I tried to boot from the recovery partition, and put the latest firmware files, it seemed to load, then again became 'crazy' at startup.  It will also do so if I connect to my PC and will not be detected...

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

First, just for him heck of it, try to take out the battery (don't lose the screws bit) for a minute or two. It can reset.

The problem is probably a file that has been bad or has been corrupted by mysterious Sansa bugs. If you are able to connect to the computer in MSC mode, you can run ChkDsk to zap the wrong file.

If not, you will probably have to format and, unfortunately, lose all the music/video/pictures on it. Create a new empty folder on your desktop called sansa.fmt, go into the recovery partition and drag the sansa.fmt in there. Do not FORMAT THE PARTITION RECOVERY VIA WINDOWS - YOU're going to DESTROY VITAL FILES. When you disconnect, the Sansa will set up. Recharge a few albums at a time. Your most recent file was probably the one that crashed it.

If it was the fault of a file that you added - and personally and not scientific, I don't think that it's always - you should look at the tags of your files and use a good tagging program, mp3tag. More information on ID3 tags here.

  • Impossible to update the database type in the Task Manager

    Hello

I installed Oracle BI EE 10.1.3.4 with Oracle database 11 g (11.1.0.6.0) on my windows XP laptop.

Also created a separate database and the schema for the Scheduler.

Cannot update the database Type in the Task Manager for Oracle 11.1, I don't see any option for Oracle 11 g. The only available options of oracle are Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g R1 and 10g R2.

The document on the Oracle 11.1.0.6.0 stated system requirements or higher versions are data sources supported for Oracle BI EE.

Is someone did encounter this problem with BI EE 10.1.3.4?

    Thank you

    Simply use 10 g 2,
Thus there is no 11G in the tool.

  • "Update the database", then stop playing audiobooks

Hello.  I'm very frustrated and I hope you can help!

I have been happily using my SansaClip for about eight months, but then a few weeks ago it stopped working correctly.

When I turn it on, I get the message "Update the database" with a progress bar.  She fills in one or two seconds, and then for the regular menu, and looks like normal.  However, after listening to my audio book for a minute or two it just turns off.

I tried to do a hard reset, reformatting, reset, and I've updated the firmware to 01.01.30, but no luck.

Now, it behaves even more erratic, for example not immediately turn on, turn off even before I can choose music, etc.  The battery bar shows about 75% full.

    Any advice?

    Thank you.

    Lori

Connect the player in MSC mode.  (Go to settings > USB Mode > MSCto put the player in MSC mode)

    Connect it to the computer.

Then use Windows Explorer to do a Format (right click on the device and select Format)

    Next

Unplug the unit and go to the settings menu and select "Format".

This should clean the Clip and make it ready to transfer files again.

You must return to the MTP mode.

  • Strange problems with the database

    Hello

I just got my Fuze and am very happy with it; However, I am having a very strange problem with the database. I have a 16 GB sdhc card that I use with the "rocket" and there are about 4 songs on the card that will not play and have no information charge tag. Their tags appear in the tag browser (not the in the track information screen) as just an empty rectangle. Under the track information screen, sizes are listed as ~ 4000 mb. The songs will not play and I can not jump in front of one of these songs once they were loaded.

At first, I suspected some kind of corruption of tag, so I set out that night to track down the problem. I removed the 16 GB card and reset the player. Then, I loaded one of the corrupt in the internal memory of the player. The track has been scanned and played correctly. Then, I removed the track of the internal memory and it loaded on another SDHC card. Yet once, everything worked correctly, so I knew that the card I was using was a kind of system files or physical problem. I returned the original 16 GB sdhc card in the reader and checked that the file was still unplayable, and then I plugged the "rocket" to my computer. I transferred the unplayable file on my computer and compared (with md5sum) to the original file, thinking that if there was the file system or physical corruption the copy of the map would be damaged. However, the files were equivalent.

To make things even more interesting, I also have problems with the registration of the kind. I have some files tagged Genres such as 'Classic' and 'Rock '. In the list of the genre, I see this:

    C

    CL

    CLA

    CLAS

    Class

    Classic

    Classic

    Classica

    Classic

    Rock

So, there is corruption on the kind of 'Classic' but not the kind of "Rock". Each of the substrings of 'Classic' contains only a few titles, with most of the other titles listed where they should be. I checked that the tracks are labeled correctly and in exactly the same way as the other tracks that do not have this problem.

I am at a total loss about what to do, and I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. I use the current firmware, 2.03.31a and the songs in question are in Ogg Vorbis format.

    MM

    Thanks for your replies.

I managed to find what may be the problem. Tracks that received corrupt tags had the names of total path with more than 256 characters. It seems that the driver internal fat32 the rocket uses vomits all over the place when the path name is too long. Before the "rocket", I got an iPod running rockbox tags with the same directory structure that I have on the "rocket", so I don't think that this restriction on the length of the path name is a limitation or requirement of the fat32 file system. Reduce the path corrected the problem with the files being unreadable.

However, the problem with foires genres the rest. Looking at the files show that corruption, they all have a little information in tags. Most of the information is contained in the hashes I have files that identify them via musicbrainz. The limit on the total number of characters in the tags of the track includes the "rocket" label is not read or use?

  • Sansa E280 going to update the database when it is connected to the computer

    Hello

Just at the moment where I was getting things straightened on my drive and everything was working fine, I plugged my E280 on my computer and it says "Refresh database" on the player and my computer does not see the E280.

I've been looking around on the forum, and there are so many different options to try (of: delete the SYSTEM folder, which I was told not; to turn off the drive and engaging the hold button and the button to rewind when connecting to the computer, etc., which I tried ~ nothing; take off Firmware and put one on; do something in Recovery Mode) , which I have no idea how do; etc.).  Sorry, but I hope you get my point... What do I do?

Thanks for any help once more.

Thank you clu31355.  I tried the very first thing that you said ' put in operation and allow it to update the database (if desired) before you connect. "and voila - it worked.

These Sansas seem to be quite ticklish - who knows what will happen?

  • Update the database without affecting the application

    Hi all

    11.5.10.2 on linux.

Recently, we are improving our test environment with the last group of patches of SOUL with 2 patches huge. now, the requirement is to update the database with the most recent data. I'm quite aware that refreshing db only will affect the fixes we applied. There is no work around for this?

    Kai

    Kai,

You must apply the patches again after updating the database using "options = nocopyportion, nogenerateportion". In doing so, the part of the database apply only, and the database will be in phase with the application with respect to these two patches.

    Thank you

  • Problem when you try to update the database

The problem I have is that whenever I try to change a certain element of customer information it always modifies a totally different number that has no meaning.  in the database. So you're saying that if you do a CFDUMP and CFABORT just before your update request then Form.IslandID is, for example, 4; but he actually wrote a number 5 digit to the database? Because it's all just ridiculous. Are you absolutely sure that you have not named two identical form fields? If you do this, CF will concatenate their values by commas that CFQuery will almost certainly do everything right in the database because it assumes that it is what you want.

    Oh and read about CFQueryparam.

  • Problem update the eponymic information from a mixed CD using Windows Media Player.

(Last?) version of media player, the I installed (11.0.5721.5280) does not seem to have the same functionality as the previous version I was using (10.00.00.4081) when it comes during the extraction of information albumn and song from the internet for a mixed CD.  I mean a mixed CD a CD I burned a number of other CD.  I want back the song, albumn, information etc. for each track, but Media Player changes the information for all of the CD.  One response to this problem for about a year ago suggested highlighting the track (s) and right click for information albumn, how you were presented with an option, one of them being that the tracks came different albumns.  It worked in the old version of Media Player, but I can't make it work in the new version.  Should I have a wrong setting option?  Can you explain how to accomplish what I'm trying to do with the latest version of Media Player?  I'm actually running Windows XP if that makes a difference.

    Hello

You can add information about the media for the items in the media library using different methods.

Refer to this article for help:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/pt-PT/Windows-XP/help/Windows-Media-Player/11/album-info

Media Player automatically updated media information, but you can prevent the media information to be overwritten by following these steps:
    a. click the arrow below the library tab, and then click Other Options.

    b. updates toAutomatic media information for the files area, verify that theAdd missing informationoption is selected. (It is selected by default).

This will prevent the player to accidentally overwrite the information in appropriate media that you have added with the incorrect media information that might be available
    in the database online.

Note that the Add missing information option will not prevent the player to overwrite your changes if you use the Find Album information command
to manually download the media information from the online database.

  • Difficulties to use Task Scheduler to update the database of the program

    Hello

I would like Win 7 Task Scheduler to cause Locate32.exe Explorer file update there database every 45 minutes when I am connected. (Locate32 can do it by itself, but must operate continuously in the background to do).  I'm obviously not in the right info, because it does not work for me. I got the details to enter another site, as I am not familiar with the Task Scheduler.

Task field name walked - locate32.

    In trigger I select daily

then by selecting a time of 5 minutes before present, to test works

then, in the action, I'm selecting Start a program

    then in program/script I enter 'C:\ProgramFiles\Locate\locate32 '.

    then in arguments - U

Usually it is a notification when I update of database Locate32. This does not occur with the scheduled task, and when I look in the Task Scheduler for tasks that have been made, this one does.

I checked the user information is correct.

Please could someone tell me what I should do instead? Thank you, Jay

    Hello

We apologize late in the response. This problem can be caused by incorrect settings.

To display hidden scheduled tasks, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start. In the search box, type Task Scheduler. Then, in the list programs, click Task Scheduler.

    2. On the view menu, click Show hidden tasks.

Try to re-create the task and check if it helps:

    1. Press the Windows key + R > type taskschd.msc and press enter (it will launch the Task Scheduler)
    2. Click with the left button of the right pane on the Task Scheduler Library > open Action on the menu at the top of the page > new folder... > name MyTasks > click OK
    3. Left-click on the MyTasks > menu, choose Action > create a basic task (it open Assistant tasks)
    4. You can enter the name , for example "restart" and press Next
    5. In the trigger section, you can specify when you want to run your task, for example:
      • Select daily and press Next
      • Now, you can specify the day, time and the game to be repeated daily, after that press Next
    6. In the Action section, you can choose what you want to run, for example, restart your system to do this:
      • Choose start a program and press Next
      • in the area of program/script, type shutdown /r and press next
    7. And that's all, you can press Finish

  • Problem changing the database of reports of HFM

Hi, I have currently two applications in HFM, one is for the development and the other for testing

I have several reports in my application dev., and I'm trying to use them in the test application.

I followed the manual instructions on how to change the connection of database reports using the tools-> menu change the database connection on the workspace.

I managed to most of the cases, but 4 reports throw a warning that says ArrayIndexOutOfBounds that blocks the process of "migration."

Could someone help me with this one?

    Thank you

I hate to say it, but I have a lot of problems with that too. Sometimes it does not give an error, but it does not work. My solution is to change the connection of database outside the workspace and re-import them manually. In particular, this makes the most sense if you have a quantity in bulk of reports to work with. (i.e., I have a new app and I want to import a group of reports to run against it).

As I do this is to use a text search and replace tool and replace the existing information in the database with the new information.

I've posted a text on how to do it here.

I'll see if I can find it and I will update this post with a link.

Edit: Link is here: Re: migration of HFM, FDM, SS one env to another

Look at my notes of the workspace as I speak to you of migration related to a different environment that has the idea of Basic.

    Thank you

  • Insert the type of number by updating the database.

    Hello

I have what seems like a simple problem, but I don't know how to solve it. I have a page that the user creates accounts for new users in the database. When the account is created, it updates the Users table in the database, and then also the Users_In_Roles table that assigns each user a role using the user ID and the ID for the role they are assigned to. In my app module method, I have an if statement that checks to see if the current connected user's role ID 1 or 2 using the ExternalContext.isUserInRole () method. If the logged in user is 1, the created user account is automatically set to 2, and if the user is 2, the created account is automatically set to 3, in other words, the new user is defined at the level of a role under user to create.

Here's my problem. In the case statement that checks the role of the logged in user, I put a variable number of role roleID I want the new user to be, but when I try to get this number in the Users_In_Roles table, I get an error since the roleID column is a data type of number, I can't pass a variable of integer type in this column. I tried declaring the variable roleID to type the number, but then I can't set it to 2 or 3 in the case stated that it will not accept integers. Anyone know how I can configure the roleID to correct 'number' variable so that I can spend at the table?

    Thanks in advance.

Use the constructor Number (int i). in other words, instead of setting the attribute

    yourIntValue

    Set the attribute to

    new Number (yourIntValue)

  • problem updating the ini file ini file

I get the ip address of the user's input and to replace the old IP in the .ini to the last ip address file but the problem is when a user enter the IP and I write it in my ini file it does not at once, but if I do it twise in calling the same function of my command button twise then my ini file is updated , it is the strage iniwrite function returnes success although on first attempt. I checked with breakpoint, but when I do it twise, then it is done, please guide me in detail, I am really amayzed by this strange behavior...

I already gave you the exact order of the functions in my previous message!

Ini file tool generates an object in memory that allows you to store and locate the values. This object can be filled in reading a file on the disk; Similarly, it can be saved to a file on disk. This is the very first operation and the last to perform if you want a picture to date of your values on the disk. There are three layers to consider:

    1. The file on the disk

    2. The IniText object in memory

    3. The variables specific to your program

With this in mind, the right order to update the file on the disk so that it reflects the value that your variables have in memory is:

Ini_New create the object in memory

Ini_ReadFromFile fill it with the contents of the disc

Ini_get('sendmail_from') read of the idebugprogramnode2 memory in your program variables

Here tou can update the values of program

Ini_Put update the object of memory with the contents of your variables

Ini_WriteToFile save everything on the disc

    Memory Ini_Dispose clear

As you save on disk before you call the Ini_Put functions, the disk image is not updated
