Problem: WDDM cannot support Aero in windows 7 home premium

Hi, I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH in recent years, it has always functioned normally, but suddenly, at 800 x 600 resolution and has problems with aero (transparency and other effects), it's especially weird because it says that my graphics card may not support WDDM, even if it has been done since I bought this computer.

Hello

I understand that this graphics card is not longer supported Windows Device Driver Model and problems with Aero. I'll be happy to help you with that.

This problem may occur because of compatibility issues with Aero and a video card in your computer running.

I suggest you follow these methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: run the Aero troubleshooter.

If your computer has some problems running the Aero visual experience, which includes effects such as transparency, try to use the Aero Troubleshooter to fix the problem. It searches the current compatibility issues with running Aero, such as the color of your computer, theme, power settings and the video card in your computer.

Refer to this article to open the Aero troubleshooter.

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Aero-Troubleshooter

Method 2: download the latest display driver on the manufacturer's Web site.

To download the latest display driver, see this link.

http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/p/select-System.pl?Director=driver

Enter your model number and go further.

Keep us informed of the status of the issue.

  • Cannot log on to Windows 7 Home Premium

Tried to fix the slowness, freezing. Disconnected, now get a message "the user profile service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

If the user profile cannot be loaded, it is a system error, no problem with Firefox. Unfortunately, if you can not connect, I don't know how you could solve this problem.

First, start in safe mode and uninstall Firefox if you feel that this is the cause. If not, also, try to use the system restore and see if it works.

  • Cannot install SP1 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I tried to uninstall all the programs that have been installed recently, update the bios of motherboard, chipset, gpu drivers of and various software applications. I left Microsoft Security Essentials do a full scan on my computer and nothing came. I tried to update only specific things, until there is only two things left that need to be updated (sp1 and ie9) that are not in the same way when I try to update both. Whenever I try to update it costs me about an hour while it downloads, installs, configures, restart a couple of times, sets up a few longer fails, returns to original configuration and then turns back on. It is 99% complete and then said that he failed. What the *? I don't know what to do at all here. I'm tempted to reinstall the OS without my GPU and try like this, but it would be really frustrating if I went through all that and it still doesn't work. What should I do? Update: I used sfc / scannow from the administrator command prompt and it found no problem: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600] Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. • Fake copy of Windows 7 (Home Premium)

    Good afternoon

It's time for me to reach out to the Microsoft community, about 2 weeks ago, that my copy of Win 7 Home Premium has failed. My copy of Windows 7 Edition Family Premium is a legitimate copy and all the programs that I've always bought a copy is legitimate if it Microsoft Office, XP, 7 or even 8, to avoid any problems. Now, my version of Windows 7 Home Premium is the same on my laptop and my desktop, using the same product key, my laptop now errors saying that I have a counterfeit copy of Windows 7 and is not a copy authentic, even try to reinstall from the same primary drive will not accept the product key. It is simply outrageous that we are making an investment in our computers and in this case, and we cannot even go back to Microsoft. I am so frustrated that it happened and have run out of ideas on what to do and I can't afford to buy a new copy of Windows 7 and DO NOT in Windows 8. Can I do to have my laptop about how it wasn't pop ups saying that my copy of Windows is not genuine and it's fake? Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • Bluetooth doesn't work does not correctly after the installation of Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 (SP2) on Dell laptop

I searched this forum and almost all resources on the net for days now nothing works.  Give the message to a thread more appropriate that I couldn't find one that is truly representative and am a newb at this.

Summary of the problem: Bluetooth connectivity does not work properly after the window Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and 2 installation (SP 1 and 2).

    My system:

Laptop Dell Inspiron E1705, 32-bit Winows Vista Home Premium SP2, Dell Wireless Bluetooth 355 Module + EDR 2.0

    * My system was purchased in 2006 with Windows XP, but was not entitled to a free Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade I did. I installed Windows Service Pack 1 and 2 about a week ago.

Problem: After downloading and installing the Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and 2 (SP 1 and 2), my system does not recognize my Bluetooth (a touch of Sprint also) device known as the HTC Vogue.  I stress that I have not had any problems with this device before downloads.  I can't revert to the pre - SP State 1 and 2 because my system restore does not have these points more.

I have read several posts on various sites about people having similar problems with Bluetooth connectivity after the Vista SP 1 and 2 facilities.  The problem is obviously the need for an updated driver.  I went to the site to download driver Dell and the Blueooth only updates available are the following. (Note: these drivers all date from 2006 and 2007).

    http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=RC956904&l=en&s=pub&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4_9400&os=WLH&osl=en&servicetag=&catid=-1&impid=-1&deviceid=12084&libid=5&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&releaseid=R159805&formatcnt=1&vercnt=1

I had these installed before the SP 1 and 2 have been installed and they worked very well. After the upgrade, these drivers do not work.  They won't recognise BT devices.  I tried to upgrade the drivers by using update Broadcom suggested below it, but an error of following installation to contact Dell.

    http://www.Broadcom.com/support/Bluetooth/update.php

I contacted Dell via e-mail and on the phone, but they want to charge me $60 for a one time service call just to talk about the problem because my warranty has expired. Provide updated drivers is not a problem of security in my opinion.  Even after explaining the situation, their continuous support to just send me the link to download Driver Dell above with out-of-date drivers.  I guess that's what they are charged to do, they do not have to admit a problem of compatibility.  This obviously the same link they would charge $60 to send.  I explained that I need just a Bluetooth Driver from Dell to at least version 6.3.   Needless to say, I will never buy another Dell product.

On my end, I tried to uninstall my current drivers and then by installing a newer driver to support Gateway (Version 6.2.1.500 for and Acer).  This allows me to install some parts of this update and the update Broadcom. However, it is not a perfect installation and expires after about 90% saying "this update is not for this system" because it is the gateway not Dell to be provided.  Displays the version of the driver on my computer is Version 6.3.5.430 after doing this, but it is not a complete installation and some features are not available.

Does anyone have experience with this issue? I would like to have a link with some bluetooth drivers generic Version 6.3 type which will allow me to use the Broadcom link to upgrade to the last version that works with Vista SP 1 and 2.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium update problems

    Dears Helpers

About 6 months ago I bought a Samsung series 7 times. It came with windows 7 Home Premium.  When I bought the laptop, the seller told me that Windows has come with the ability to reformat itself in windows 7 again.

The time has come to do and I checked out, but it turns outt hat it was only Samsungs Sste recovery. He had done an image and revenue to whom. Ok.

After doing this, I went to the windows update, but it will not work. It just stays at the helm of 'Check updates' and after a long so that it says that it cannot be updated.

Through the windows, I managed to download the "update Windows diagnosis", and having run it he managed to solve some of the problems that we found. I tried several times since then to update the windows but get the same problem again. Keep hecking for updates, it doesn't do anything.

Could someone help me please. Normally I would just leave, but I would like to have updated and also because I recently bought a program that requires the .NET Framework Client Profile to run. The program itself provides the instalation but it will not be installed. I downloaded on the windows site, the .NET Framework Client Profile to try and install them separately, but that no longer works.

Did I miss something or something goes wrong?

I would be very happy for any help on this matter.

PS just one last question. This window comes with the ability to reformat itself?

  • Windows 7 Home Premium cannot map NAS / network storage drives

Hi, I'm currently on a PC Windows 7 Home Premium and I have two 2 NAS drives.

I am running a Buffalo Linkstation (old version) and a new Iomega Home Media Network Hard drive.

Initially I thought it was just my Linkstation from Buffalo who is older and has had no updates of the firmware that cannot be mapped as a network drive. But I just got my new Iomega hard drive today and installed the latest firmware and software. The Iomega software detects the drive and all of its shared folders but the problem is that I can not map any shared folders as a network drive, making it useless on my Windows 7 computer.

I can access both NAS drives on my windows xp pro machine very well.

I got off the phone with Iomega technical support and they said that it is a well known problem with Windows 7 Home Premium and readers of Samba. Is there someone out there who can give me a solution? I already tried the fix LMCOMPATIBILITYLEVEL on other forums I found by changing the values 1 or 2 - but still no luck.

It gives me an error of network even when I try to connect to the ip address of the NAS, however - it appears on my network but I can not access or map!

I really want to get my readers network running on windows 7 Home Edition premium without having to upgrade to other users are still having problems, I read. It's a little pathetic I can't even map a network drive on my pc.

I had exactly the same problem with my drive hard Lacie network. If your drive contained donkey type of media, music, or video, Win 7 use the reader as a "Windows Media Connect" device, opening the disk in Media Player, showing only media files...

This prevents access to all ot0her of the player records.

However, I found that it is possible to add the drive as a network drive, if you know the name of the root folder.

In my case, it's "openshare", so when you enter the path to network drive, I use \\192.168.xxx.xxx\openshare, and it allows me to access the drive...

Why Microsoft chose to make this type of access to the files of so difficult to get simple network, just blows my mind, knowing that WinXP has it done easily...

I hope you were able to understand my English, and that this could be useful.

    Kind regards

My Windows Vista Home Premium began the automatic update, reached the point of view "Configuring updates: stage 3 of 3-100% complete.". Do not turn off your computer. »

Now he's just running for hours with this screen showing...

I can't say if this update will end finally alone, or if there is a problem and I should just reboot.

How long should I wait before abandoning me and shut down the computer?

    Thank you.

    Hi JIB1955,

Thank you for visiting the forums of answers.microsoft.com.

It's been a while, we can think that the update is stuck and will not continue any further.  You can press Ctrl, Alt & Del and open Task Manager.  You should see the update on the Application tab, and you can select it and press end task.
Click on the start ORB > Control Panel > programs and features, on the left, select view installed updates and see if the update that was being Setup finished installing.  If it does not have and does not appear on the list, you can restart your computer and try to install the update mode without failure.

To do this, restart your pc and even if your pc is booting press the key F8 on your keyboard to enter the Advanced Boot Options menu.  On the Advanced Boot Options menu, select Safe Mode and press ENTER.
Your computer will boot mode safe by using only the basic drivers and services, hopefully allowing Windows Update to complete the installation of the update, you are having problems with.
