I also tried to use the comand #5 under the Boot Device Manu but it stops when it scaly the starting point.
I can't the flashing cursor so that I can't scandisk or any other comand.

It's extremely likely that you will need to replace the hal.dll and since there are seven files on the XP installation CD that will extend into hal.dll, which would you choose? It depends on your hardware, but it is extremely likely that the problem (did I already say that?). I've never had to replace a file hal.dll for this problem. The real problem is most likely that XP just can not find the file because of a file system corruption or a file c:\boot.ini afflicted. For this error, I would always be first boot from the XP Recovery Console and sometimes run a chkdsk-r that will fix things right to the top. If the chkdsk /r is clean and you have the same problem, and then re-create your c:\boot.ini file but rename the old one first so you don't build on top of those afflicted - this tidbit is absent from MS KB article that assumes too. You can do all this in the XP Recovery Console, but do go through these methods in this article and see how you go. For example, method 1 will not work if your system does not start. You may have more luck with other "methods". If that doesn't work, then I suggest to provide a little more information about your system: Since the Microsoft Answers forum does not have any kind of information system request when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system. Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues. You have a real installation CD bootable XP which is the same Service Pack as your installed Service Pack? (this is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

Problem with sound in the ProRes files on first last, CC on 10 to win
Hello, I've updated my CC Pro first to the latest version on my Windows 10 PC. Since then, I have a problem with the sound in ProRes files recorded with recorder Odyssey 7 q. My first reads the file and it detects sound only partially (in each file it our times of 2-3 seconds of silence, followed by its normal).
It happens only on my first on Windows. On my MacBook with the same version of first, everything works fine. Apart from the first, I play Prores files successfully on my windows (with sound).
You know all the solutions to this problem? I tried to reinstall codec first and Quicktime on my PC. Thanks in advance for the help.
Convergent Design and Adobe are aware of the problem and working on a fix. You need to roll back to 2015.3 for the moment.

There is not much information in the doc around the new configuration of static file. Someone at - it an example of this dads.conf he file should look similar to static files? Everything else seems to work fine - it's my only hang up now.

I figured it out on my own - the doc has a section "6.5.4 configuration Support for static file" which basically said yes, it is now supported for static files, then a "see also:" link to the dads.conf section, that I'm not good enough to see there are now 2 new parameters in your dads config file... All is ready! It works! YAY!

Problem with a missing font is not missing!

I have a problem with a font appear as missing in a single document, but in another document. I tried to erase all the paragraph styles and character styles, but nothing works. Police appears in the list of fonts and the recently used fonts, but when I choose what it the text is highlighted in pink as the name of the font is displayed in brackets as if he is absent.
I tried to remove the cached Adobefnt file, but that does not work either.
I hope there is a simple solution that I am ignorant to know. I'm going out of my mind and would like any input on this problem of mine.

Old problem with Spotlight and Word .docx files
There is an old problem with Spotlight not finding the Word .docx files. You can find old discussions about it since 2008. But despite this problem being old has never been resolved.
The essence of the issue is that Spotlight relies on a variety of software modules for the index files. Projector selects the module suitable for each type of different file of the index. These indexing modules all have the suffix of file .mdimporter. Name of the module for indexing Microsoft office files is "Microsoft Office.mdimporter" and it can be found with a few other modules of .mdimporter in/library/Spotlight /. The "Microsoft Office.mdimporter" module has rights author of Microsoft inside its packaging info so we know who wrote it. But this module is included with all new Macs from Apple. This is perhaps why this problem has never been corrected - the software is written by Microsoft, but delivered by Apple.
The symptoms of the problem are that Spotlight will find no content in some .docx files. It is unclear why it fails on some .docx files, but not others. This problem does not affect other Microsoft formats such as .doc, .xls, .xlsx, etc..
Because Apple wants to sell Macs to business, and companies make heavy use of MS Office in general, we could think that it would be a priority to fix. But given that this problem is 7 years old and still not resolved I do not.
Any suggestions on possible alternatives would be welcome.
After further investigation, I discovered that the problem is not with "Microsoft Office.mdimporter" as I had thought. If we run the mdimport(1)-d1
you can see what importer is used. It turns out that for the .docx files, the importer is called 'RichText.mdimporter' which has a copyright by Apple. And if you use mdimport(1), the file will then be found by Spotlight. If the issue is not the importer, but rather everything that is triggering the importer to run the .docx files updated. Here's to blame Microsoft for this one... As a workaround, I force indexing my files .docx with a Bash script, which is started by cron. The script indexes all the .docx that have been modified in the last 24 hours and runs every hour via cron. If someone is interested in the details just post here and I'll include the script in another post.

NEF files are owner of Nikon RAW format and cannot be opened in Windows Media Player.
You have a few options, including:
- Download and install Nikon ViewNX2 which can open NEF files.
- Install Microsoft Camera Codec Pack which will then allow your NEF files to be perceived as file/Windows Explorer and the Windows Photo Gallery (check your camera for taking pictures is listed in the Details section, or it may not work). The links are:

- Use the photo editing software owner (with necessary plug-ins installed if necessary) to open and edit NEF images.
When you open an NEF image in an application, you should then be able to record it in a much more widely supported such as JPG image format. There will be a loss of quality when you do well, but still, good results can be obtained. Once in JPG format (for example), Windows Media Player will be able to open the images.
If you don't want to use NEF files in the future, your camera should be able to take/save directly the images in JPG format. Check the settings of your camera.

I have a problem with a missing on the computer user account.
Original title: problem getting back to the original account admin user
Since the computer was new, I didn't have that one user account and didn't need a user to logon screen, when it opened to that and the only active user account. Fast forward 6 months that I had a problem with a windows installation file deleted and in order to get a program running I had to add a user account for the new installation of the user files. That part worked, but when I disconnected and tried to return to my original owner account there was only the new account on the logon screen my original account wasn't there. My files for this user account are still there in C: User but I can't find a way to get there.
Googleing this problem I saw things about problems with the accounts being listed as AccueilCompte, or administrator, but it did get me anywhere, the only difference I've seen after going through all that I saw in Win7 Home Premium, which had to do with user accounts, it is that my original account was registered in a field as 'owner '. I don't know if it's part of the problem or not. How can I return to my original account and why isn't she appear on the opening screen of session or user accounts?

If you have problems with a non-Adobe product, contact the manufacturers. That said, Adobe often try to disable PDF - PDF printing, especially for files by password, so it could be design but it works correctly.

Problems with the conversion of Word files to PDF via macro
I have a weird problem with the Acrobat add-in. I want to convert a lot of files with the Word Add-In in PDF files. The printer is no option because it causes other problems.
So I created a small macro for Word that transforms all the Word of a directory of files PDF files. The macro works great, but PDF files look right.
I show you the problem with a Word file, first converted manually, then with the macro:
First of all the image: If the file is converted manually, it seems that the Word file and fonts are included.
Second picture: If the macro converts the file it doesn't seem correct and the fonts are usually not included.
I use Acrobat XI and Word 2010. The macro command is:

I did not, but the trick is to realize you don't want specific action. Rather, you want to treat a directory. DOCX files in the directory will be converted to PDF, then actions (if any).
