Problem with activation 5 Lightroom on Mac

I bought a license for 5 Lightroom on my Mac computer. After checking the State of my University, I received the "serial number" and have registered the product on my online account from adobe. However, the "desktop" of lightroom version 5 as well as the "adobe cloud" still says that my trial has expired and I need to buy a product. I thought that there could be some problems of synchronization with my adobe account, but cannot find any option on my cloud of office or adobe lightroom 5 to add the serial number.

Try the steps below

Stop Lightroom

Navigate to MAc HD > library > Application Support > Adobe > Ligtroom

Delete the cookie from Lightroom 5 install

then restart and check

It should work.

If you still experience the problem, uninstall Lightroom 5

Download it from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=mac

    Sir, I just uninstalled the program and installed it again and my version of lightroom just changed to 2015.5.1 but others still facing this problem and I personally think that this is not a good way to solve this problem, nobody don't want to redownload the entire program for this.     Expensive - there seems that struck me a few problems 'standard' with activation of the software CC - I subscription CC and about two months (since the update in Feb2016) CC does not work.

    Anyone having problems with Adobe CC Desktop App on a Mac? I tried several chat sessions with Adobe to never get problems solved! They basically say it's our ISP? But we have no problem with other machines in our shop all the OS10.10 Mac machine! I can connect and access to the home screen, but when I try access the apps to screen all I get is the spinning wheel and then the error message download error, cannot access server, please check your internet and firewall settings! No firewall issue or the internet.

  • Problems with keywords in Lightroom 5.6

    I had a HUGE problem with Lightroom since update at 5.6. Keywords are not applied successfully for the selected photos. Sometimes they apply on the last SET of selected pictures, even if I purposely made a "don't select anything" and then chose a single photo. Sometimes they are applied to the whole of the collection even if the entire collection has not been previously selected. I can usually get the help of the keywords applied to the photo (or photos) right if I quit Lightroom and restart-apply keywords to a photo or group of photos, rinse and repeat. It is highly aggravating. Sometimes it does not work yet and the keywords apply to all the or apply to all photos in the grid, either a collection or a folder...

    Have you tried to remove preferences?  See preferenceand other locations of files in Lightroom 5.  Note that on more recent versions of Mac OS, you must restart after the removal of preferences, because the operating system can be cached.

    This dust of magical fairy watering often corrects the bizarre behavior of LR.

  • Problem with activation by using two hard drives (XP on one) and Win7 on the other

    I have XP sp3 installed on a hard drive and Win7 on another. I never use XP, I only keep there to keep my Win7 works great.

    I do not remember how did I installed win7, but I pretty sure I booted from a USB key and installed on a new hard drive.

    It seems that XP hard drive is in charge the boot settings, or something because I have set as the boot default HDD (in bios), and then select Windows 7 in boot menu that follows.

    If I select the hard disks Windows 7 the default boot hard drive, Windows restores activation. Select the hard drive with XP and win7 then choosing in the start menu, works very well, the activation is OK again.

    I'll install Win8 (that I already bought), but I still need to figure out what to do with this situation, because I need to replace the hard drive where XP is installed and install Win8 and have a double Win7 and boot 8.

    It is possible to solve the problem of activation, without having me call Microsoft? I use a utility called EasyBCD 2.2 and I was wondering if maybe this program could help fix me.

  • Problems with synchronization to Lightroom Mobile

    I have the following problem with Lightroom Mobile synchronization:

    In Lightroom desktop, it seems that the collections will be uploaded correctly (number of images down to zero). The changes will be also loaded.

    In the web interface, I see somtetimes collections and sometimes not. I can make it appear if I chose the "make public collection" in Lightrrom desktop.

    In the iOS App there is absolutely nothing happens: "it has no collection.

    I have recent versions of all the operating systems and of applications. I deleted and reinstalled the iOS app.

  • Problem with cloud connection Preview app Mac creative

    I can not get the Creative Cloud soft overview connection to download on Mac OS 10.6.8. The option does not appear in the MAO and I continue to bounce back on the Web site when I click on learn more. Is there something I am doing wrong or not doing? I have files in the creative cloud that I can access through the site, but it's a real pain to have whenever I want to work on their download.
