  Readers as high as 126 GB or more have been around since mid-2002.  It's about 7 years now and LabVIEW Real-time STILL cannot use greater than 126 GB drives!  Please OR.  Do something.

  We deserve the patches for older versions of LabVIEW RT.  What about updates to LabVIEW RT.  As 7.0.2 7.1.2 7.6.2, 8.0.2, 8.2.2, 8.6.2.

  We don't need new features or versions of LabVIEW RT as 9.0 until we have some of the bugs fixed in existing versions.

  Programs need to be reinstalled.  You cannot simply connect an external hard drive with programs installed on another machine and expect it to work.  The system registry is suitable for the material on a specific computer and its applications installed and cannot simply be moved to a computer containing a different material.

  Your choice of only reasonable upgrade is to buy a new computer with an operating system that supports it and re - install your applications.  Your external drive * should * work on XP via the last Windows OS.  Try to perform an operation of "chkdsk/r" on your hard drive to make sure it is not damaged.  If it still does not respond, and then save the data elsewhere, reformat the disk on a Windows 7 computer and then put the data on the disk.

• using NI USB 9201 with LabVIEW Real-time

  I try to use a USB of NI 9201 on a remote real-time target. Here's what I did: 1) tricked out of a desktop PC to serve as target RT using the instructions provided on the Web site of NOR. He now starts in an RTOS with LabView RTOS 9.0. (2) I communicated successfully with the help of a host computer that has a windows with LabView 2009 BONE and I installed the software from the computer remote RT target host using ethernet. However, my problem is when I plug NI 9201 USB on the target RT that I do not see the material listed on the devices tab in MAX and interfaces on remote systems. I tried to get the manuals for the HW 9201, but it seems not much explained here, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  9201 USB is not supported on RTPCs please visit this link. Currently no usb-DAQ devices do not support an environment CRPC. Only the PCI DAQ devices are supported.

• Application errors of the RT with the PXI-4461 with Labview real-time 9.0.1, DAQmx 9.0.2

  I recently converted a PXI time system real OS (PXI-1042 q chassis, controller PXI-8187, DAQ, PXI-4461, DAQ, PXI-6259). I can write and run DAQmx applications in real time with the 6259 very well. Whenever I try to write a labview RT app to use the 4461, however, it will fail. Note that I can use two cards through MAX I tried switching card slots, just in case it was a problem. Both cards worked with labview, the PXI chassis was before Windows.

  Attached are pictures of the screw base demo I built to show the problem. Since I was a mistake (-200758) if I started from the raw strings, I tried to create a MAX task and use it. The task, but he complained of a buffer is too small. I explicitly put the buffer to work around this problem and still get the same error (-200608). I've also attached a screenshot of the software currently on the Max MAX RT PXI system is version 4.6.2 btw. (I installed the most/all this from DS1 Dev Suite 2010 version).

  I'm a complete newbie to Labview. We are currently developing a piece of hardware in the lab to automatically take the readings of the concentration of a sample, through correlations with voltage readings. I have read and worked through the getting started with Labview .pdf, but other than that my knowledge is minimal. I have a flowsheet of work who is able to do it correctly and display and write the data in real time. However, I want to be able to write to a file only every 10 minutes or so, since experiments can run for several days and the amount of data it currently logs is unnecessary.

  Would be nice if he could write it in columns like this:

  Hello, I am trying to determine if I can use the OR 1473R framegrabber PCIe FPGA in a PC based computer time real OS OR. Anyone know if this is possible? So I think that it should appear to the OS in real-time as a target FPGA that can transfer the data via DMA, but I wanted to make sure the drivers would work in real time of NEITHER.

  I am building this real time application in which you can try control methods for a particular system (construction of the algorithm of control in LabView on Windows) and then with a DAQ board (I have the E-Series SCB-68) communicate with the hardware (actuators).

  Is this DAQ card enough or should I try with any other advice? For the application considered, it is important that the price of the freq is at least 1 kHz.

  The 6220's card perfectly fine for your current application.  It is true that windows is not deterministic and cannot compete with the hardware/software in real time, but your DAQ will be responsible for the management of timing and synchronization you will be fine.  If the advance until you need a very quick response in real time of your application, you can always buy a RT LV system.

• Problem with Capture Date &amp; time change

  I just became aware of a problem with the Date of Capture use to is very strange. Initially, a brief explanation of the import workflow I'm used with jpeg image 6 iPhone since Lightroom Mobile was presented. The images appear in the section of times iPhone app Photo, and from there I transfer to a collection in Lightroom Mobile. Once the collection syncs to Lightroom on my Mac (running latest El Capitan), they sort by capture time and I make choices and rename images. I have a naming preset that adds automatically the date to all the images. Recently, I noticed that some of these images, but not all, have been appointed with the wrong date. I had traveled without my computer - only my iPad, and it was a month before the images have been synced on my Mac it was very obvious that the dates were incorrect. The problem may have expressed earlier, but if the date was off by a day or two he would not have been as sensitive.

  The problem occurs when I take pictures with the app in time of MomentLens company. I use the application because it is designed to work with instant attachment lenses and the case of the Moment (which makes no difference in time to capture problem).

  For the life of me, I can't understand this anomaly. I did thorough Imaging tests, and it happens only with the application of the time - other camera apps do not exhibit this problem. Interestingly, LR recognizes both the time Soft, which is reported under EXIF on the range of software and the lenses of the Moment when it is used with the iPhone the Moment case.
