• Problems with the Smart keyboard (iPad 9.7 Pro)

  I recently bought the iPad Pro 9.7 inches, gray space, Wifi, 128 GB. IOS 9.3.1 of the operating system.

  A few questions that I met in my four days of using the iPad with the Smart keyboard:

  NOTE: the following problems persist despite a technical support call which lasted, I did 2 hours and 30 minutes. I had to restore my iPad settings by connecting to iTunes via my PC to reinstall the last iOS.

  (i) switching applications: if I want to pass, say, from safari to adobe, it is quite easy to do with the keyboard. However, there is an intermittent problem when the apps. When I try to open Adobe when I use safari, the screen of the iPad shows apps that are open as soon as I press the command and tab key.

  What is supposed to happen - I choose to open Adobe, Adobe opens.

  What happens to the contrary - Adobe does not open. Another "X" application that is currently running, opens. It is quite frustrating, because there is no pattern to this. If I use once more the keyboard shortcut to open Adobe, another application 'Y' which is running, open it now.

  In this case, I pointed out, often when the App Store is running.

  (II) command key: sometimes, shortly after I use the shortcut keys to turn on screen shortcut area (pop-up shortcut) - apps, this is supposed to happen if and only if you press and hold down the command key.

  This often happens when I switch to Safari.

  (III) keyboard not responding: a problem that I met today for the first time. My keyboard will not just respond. I had to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard for this function.

  (IV) on which the space key: to wake up the iPad, pressing the SPACEBAR is enough. You don't have to press the home button. Yet, sometimes the space key does not respond and you must use the home button.

  v) Quick app - keyboard shortcut crash switch function causes: if I want to switch from app to app 'X' 'Y', but mistakenly switch to 'Z' app, I immediately want to spend to 'Y '. However, I can't do this in quick succession. I have to wait a second or two before I can switch from 'Y' 'Z' app, otherwise the automatic switching app crashes and you have to wait once more for a second or two before moving on.

  My diagnosis:

  (I) it could be a problem with the smart connector on my iPad. A hardware problem. But it does not explain why the automatic switching app appears and passes correctly but eventually open the wrong applications. Also, it does not explain why the problem is intermittent.

  (II) a software problem. However, that would make me a face 5 questions at once. Sort of. I was surprised that, apart from the question of #3 and #4, there was almost no mention of other issues.

  To restart the iPad or to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard. But I don't think that anyone would be willing to do this 4 - 5 times on a daily basis.

  Update:

  So I used my keyboard all day yesterday without opening the App Store. And guess what? It has been working perfectly. All the above problems I mentioned were not available yesterday. I'll use the App Store today and let it run in the background to see how does my iPad.

  I have a problem with my Creative Suite 3 Master collection. When I try to install, I get a message saying: Installer database is corrupt. What I can do to install correctly.

• Problems with CS6 Master Collection (invalid checksum) disk image

  I have problems to download the trial for CS6 Master Collection for Mac OS X.

  I tried download using the Download Assistant, as a privileged environment and a non privileged user and have also tried direct download as a privileged and unprivileged. Every time that I waited until the download is complete before installation, but every time the disk image opens, denouncing a "invalid checksum".

  I tried to mount the disk image without validating the checksum, but so that I can then run the installer, the installation fails due to the absence of privileges - once again, it comes to regardsless of the privileges of the user. I also tried to delete the preferences and cache for Download Wizard files, but nothing helped.

  Can anyone confirm that the English version of CS6 collection master disk image works and can be installed without error on Mac OS X 10.7? Now, I downloaded and re-downloaded the image disk at least eight times, and while I have a fast Internet connection, it becomes tedious.

  I just downloaded the DMG on Adobe.com, using the test, and it fits very well. I was able to start the installation.

  I don't have a checksum error or other error.

  If the download was completed in Adobe Download Assistant, you can temporarily turn off the feature to check the checksum.  The following steps will allow you to temporarily disable this feature:

  1. Open the disk located in Applications/Utilities utility
  2. Go into the menu of disk utility and select Preferences
  3. Deselect the option to verify checksums
  4. Try to mount your DMG file

  I would recommend turn this feature back on however once installation is complete.  Also, if you notice what's happening on the additional files it may indicate a problem with your Internet connection.

  You could try these steps and let us know if you were able to move forward.

  From the looks of it, looks like a bug.

  Are you defining filters or performs a sort on the ArrayCollection collection? Or it's just a pure naked collection instance ArrayCollection.

  Have you tried addItemAt() and got the same result?

  Hi sowm,.

  Sorry, I guess I missed the part in your original post where you said you were using this as a filter. I don't think it will work as a filter, so I'll try to explain how I implemented my sample report to have this job. You may be able to use as a base for the realization of what you're trying to do -:

  1. my report contains 3 columns: name of the record Date, DateRank.
  2. in the DateRank column, I use TOPN (RANK (date), 10) the formula for the column.
  3. I hide DateRank column through properties of the column.

  When I run the report, my 10 older recordings (by date) are displayed.

• Problem with CS6 Master collection on iMac

  Hello.

  Setup for CS6 Master Collection (Licensing) will not accept the serial number on an iMac

  I run adobe cleaner and erased all Adobe products on the mac.

  I run ONYX and fixed everything that he could set permissions etc. re and HD problems (none)

  The version of the OS is 10.6.8 and latest updates of yesterday.

  The installation and serial No. work very well on all other Mac 19 same configuration

  There is no product Adobe not appearing in applications or utilities

  Connection to the network is fine.

• Problem with the smart shape in reactivity text captions

  I have slides with many text captions, which are all intelligent forms with text inside them. Tips on how can I prevent the text to be cut in small breakpoints would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding the size of the form how do you define Position Panel for these forms? Do not be naïve, Jay, a sensitive project needs much more time to create. You will have to edit three situations instead of one, but the right settings can save time. I know that marketing is an another story

• Problems with updating Image Collection

  We have a collection of already published we would like to change the image of the collection to. We are able to change the image in the Images Collection Properties tab, but after we clicked done, change does not stick. For what it's worth, we also tried to edit an image for an original collection of more... same thing happens.

  No, I don't think that it is itself the problem. It is more likely that you run of disk space on your temporary folders. Consider it for some tips:

  Important directories

  Preparations for installation (the part on the health of the hard drive)

  Desp that this would of course a question of time-out or a limited bandwidth with your internet access, but according to your description, it seems that you seem to be on a fast enough connection, so this should not happen.

  Please help me. I was able to do to help collect cursor instead in bulk, but think that bulk collect will result in better performance. Please suggest if my code needs no changes.

• Problem (bug?) with smart collections

  I have LR (standalone) 6.1 and I want to create a smart collection to select images that are not in the collections (stardard). As I find anything better, I created a smart collection where I need the name of the collection of the image does begin with 'A', 'B', etc...

  This works as long as the collection names are long of 1 Word. I'm intrigued by this behavior. Is this a bug? Is there another way to achieve what I want?

  The operator "starts by" is buggy.  The criterion of the "Collection starts with a' will match any collection whose name contains a word that begins with"a ". For example it will not match "A big red pony", 'It's a pony of reading', 'ponies are large animals.  Adobe has acknowledged this bug four years ago in the Adobe official feedback forum: Lightroom: problems with "begins with" text filtering.  You can add your vote and review on it in the vain hope that Adobe can fix before the next ice age.

  Meanwhile, to find all photos that are not in the collection, you can use these rules:

  Match any of the following rules

  Collection contains a, b, c,... z 1 0... 9

• Smart collection returns different results to the library filter?

  This is such a stupid thing, and I barely noticed. I have smart collections simply gather all the images with a particular star of note, very very simple! I have a 1 star, a Star 2 and one for the 3 stars and more. So far so good, use these for centuries-, but I noticed that if I go to Catalog/All photos and place a filter of the same library (this is the filter at the top of the library grid view) I get different results. Actually if I place a filter attribute that says '= 2 stars' images only I can watch the tape that works at the bottom of the screen (sorry I have no idea what it's called) and he said that "all photos / 1056 1647 photos» If I can clear this filter and scroll down to my smart collection that applies the filter even to the entire catalog (and I triple checked this, no difference at all, I don't have lower or higher than the here is the self same "=" only!) and it says "1066"! Thus, the smart collection search 10 images more than other, identical filters working on the entire catalog - I am confused? Anyone had this problem, I missed something? If it wasn't for the number of images concerned I'd them and try to find the additional files by hand!

• Problem with smart connector

  Hi all

  I use my iPad Pro for a while now with the smart connector. Today, however, I noticed that the Smart keyboard did not respond to my entry and I kept getting the error message "This accessory is not supported by this device."

  When took a glance t the smart connector on my iPad I noticed some discoloration, almost as if it was burned. Can someone please help me understand how or why this might have happened? He never fell into the water or something else besides.

  Hello. When electrical contacts carry the current, they may collect certain chemicals from the atmosphere. This does not mean that your air is bad, it happens everywhere. Try to clean the contacts gently. Be sure to check each on the keyboard too.
