  in a some PSD templates, I'm working on all of a sudden the shortcut shift + ctrl + > < does not change in 2pt increments but by 3.14pt

  It happens only with the current text. When I create a new text, the increments now is 1 px.

  I figured this out a long time ago and forgot to post it. There seems to be a mysterious connection between scaling of text with free transform and change its value from pt. You can do a major in one of those, but once you text it evolve with free transform, change the increments relatively next time use you the shortcut to increase its size.

  for example:

  you add a text we will say it is 100 PT when you add:

  

  No, you want to increase or decrease its size for you to use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + <> -it will increase or decrease by PT. 1, but if you change it of size with transfrom free (Ctrl + T) and resize 50%

  

  now, when you use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + <> for increase/decrease, it will do so by 0.5pt values. It was affecting my workflow when you work a lot with templates PSD with text, (for example, someone created the model and scaling back and the shortcut has now a few slices of weirdos who aren't good for everyone) and I'm sure it's important to know about this behavior.

  I'm typing on an image in PS Elements 7.  Even when I select a font size of 72 pts., the type is under the microscope on the image.  What I am doing wrong?   Switching points, mm, cm or inches does not affect this problem.   Thanks for any help.

  Remember that the size of the characters depends on the resolution of the photo. 72 pt type is big on the picture at 72 dpi, tiny on a picture at 300 ppi. Just keep trying more large sizes. You can type in any size you want; you are not limited to the menu presets.

  Some how I hit a key shot that changed the size of the font on my hotmail account. My Inbox of emails have this small text/font size that I can barely read and does not know how to change the size of text/police so I can get back them to normal. Please adivse.

  There have not been any changes to the fonts used (or available for use) in Messages.

  However, it is possible to turn on more options.

  In system preferences > accessibility > display

  Here select the option 'reduce transparency.

  This allows to be accessible in other fonts Messages > Preferences > general Section.

  If it isn't AND the blade of font size can be used but makes no difference (especially if you leave the app and it does not keep) then you will have lost write permissions for the .plist which controls it.

• How can I stop my font size to change?

  Hi all

  I use pdf on my tablet to read ebooks and every time I turn a page changes the font size.  I don't see an icon to choose a font size.  I can find one to add text and highlights and if I want to read 1 continuous page, etc., but nowhere at all to set a font size to fit my view.

  Unfortunately, you can not change the size of the font of the text in a PDF document. However, you can zoom in/out of the document based on your condition. You can do this by double tap or pinch gesture.

• Problem with "resolution and size of the work exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized.

  OK, I've created a document 162,7 "x 90.6" (work plan) for a design I design. The document was created using all the flaws - I think that's where I was wrong. Illustrator is now telling me that "the combination of the size of the work and the resolution exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized" after I opened the document and when I try to add a shadow to what whatever.

  Other than vector graphics, I created in illustrator, I only have 3 180ppi and 4 300 PPI pictures tranfered just behind the camera photograpers.

  I chose:

  1 "print document" in the initial startup window.

  2. I got the size of the artboard, purge and left control the 'pixelation effects' "high (300ppi).

  I think that to let the adjustment effects of pixelization at 300ppi, where is the problem.

  What I need to create a new document or I can fix it already exists?

  Illustrator is 32-bit only and is limited to 3 GB or RAM usage, it is more a limitation to a bug.

  t has a limit to the size of a tiff file that I can export for example and you can have reached this limit.

  Try opening it in Photoshop before you start all over, and then save it in psd or tiff.

• Problem with resolution 1280/720 IN2030M!

  I have a new Dell XPS with an IN2030M monitor and graphics AMD Radeon HD 7570.  Depending on the configuration of Dell, the resolution is set to 1600 x 900, which seems good and the monitor adapts.  But when I reset the resolution up to 1280 x 720, the vertical width is piled up a LOT!  Which is interesting since the horizontal mode to 1280 pixels looks very good.  I played with the controls of the monitor, which made no difference and I've tried magnifying glass mode which worked but the evil eye of photo!

  How can I get the monitor to work at a resolution of 1280 x 720?

  To make a long story short, the PC the problem is my wife, who is having problems, see smaller text on a screen to 1600 x 900.  We have also a 2009 Dell XPS with a ST-220 nVidia graphics card, which perfectly illustrates the 1280 x 720.  I swapped between the 2 systems monitors and found that his monitor on my PC now works fine, but my screen on his PC can't handle 1280 x 720.  The problem was evidently the AMD video card.

  So I spent a LOT of time with technical support working on the problem, and under the direction of the support agent ended up remove the cable from the DVI slot, remove the VGA - DVI adapter, connect the cable to the VGA slot at the back of the computer (this slot was originally under a plastic cap), allowing the slot VGA via BIOS and then by using the Device Manager to disable the AMD card and the control panel to uninstall the catalyst software.  We now have a beautiful picture in all modes, and my wife is a happy camper!  :)

• XP x 64 ~ problem with resolution ~ I can't do this alone!

  I assume that you are looking to increase the size of all the text that you see in all applications - system-wide. In this case, please open System Preferences > accessibility. Check out the options at your disposal under Vision. You can "zoom in" the entire screen by using a combination of keys.

  Some applications (such as Safari) allow you to zoom in on the screen using a two finger trackpad gesture.

  Font sizes are changed to applications (such as Pages) by using a text editing menu selection, but there is no way equivalent to achieve in the Finder (for example) or other applications that are not intended to manipulate text.

• These last questions w/eBay font size. Fonts page summary now too small to read.

  eBay policies is always displayed correctly using IE. BUT little by little, eBay police changed the size of font within a given page of eBay. 'My eBay' a 10 drop-down selections. These 5 are OK: offers/offers, Watch List, purchase history, my Collections, Messages. These 5 police being so small almost invisible: summary, wish list, all the lists, sales, followed by research. If all goes well, a fellow eBayer is to see these changes too.

  I'm guessing that eBay programmers have been tweaking Internet Explorer to correctly display the fonts on all pages, as Internet Explorer has had its own problems of font size of eBay in the past. But now using Internet Explorer looks good! However, at the same time, Firefox has really gone South. My guess is the tweaking of the IE has destroyed now possibility of FireFox to display the font correctly sizes in eBay. Ask me questions if you see what I see. I can send some screenshots.   Two other thoughts:

  (1) Firefox allows you to select a font size minimum for all pages. It can destroy a large number of provisions, so usually it not very useful, but if the fonts are unreasonably tiny, you can try it.

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content > button "Advanced".

  The top of the page, set "fonts for: Western ' and then about halfway to the bottom of the dialog box, change the Minimum font size to 9.

  At the top, the value ' fonts for other languages: ' and repeat the process. And then click OK.

  Which enlarges the tiny fonts?

  (2) there are scaling of the problems with the new screens of more-than-the-full-HD, especially when the site uses the Flash plugin. If you have such a screen, you may lodge a complaint with the site, so they can update their Flash media.

  I have a messageCheckBox in some bussiness senario, I need to check and make "BOLD", to make "BOLD" Im setCSSClass ("OraDataText") it works well the messageCheckBox is changed to "BOLD", but Im navigate from page I need to remove the boldness if Im put empty for setCSSClass(""). But the problem is the police and the font size got change if Audacity is deleted. If anyone can suggest me how to remove the bold in the font change.
