Problem with "Image size."

Hello

When I change the size of an image, Photoshop is still Adding: it reduces the image to 7.4 cm x 4.9 cm, at 240 dpi. Then it backup. He does this without that I ask him, and no matter the greatness that I give.

Where is the problem?

Thank you! Bruno

Dear Ben,

Thanks a lot for your quick response. I appreciate it.

In fact, I just found the problem. I use the function Action and button. One of the button is simply to open the size of the Image. I just found out that there are codes within what did what I describe above.

What happened was probably this: I created this code for something without realizing that I've inserted in this button.

Please cancel my question so that no one else would have to answer.

Thank you very much! Bruno

  • Problems with images after the subclips

    Hey there

    Today I woke up to see all subelements, I made my most recent project. Just today, footage looked more pixelated and blurry.

    What might of happened? When I stop the image the quality is exactly as it was before. But when played his more pixelated.

    Some of the images was shot at a lower resolution, but when I put the size of the screen to the appropriate resolution quality always looks bad.

    Would this have something to do with the manufacture of the subitems? Even go back and see the clips that came the subclips: the film is even more 'pixely '.

    Any help appreciated

    @

    Hi pavalanche11,

    Sorry for the problem. If it is fixed?

    Please consider these points for this problem:

    1. it looks in any case related to subitems.

    2 as you mentioned after a break the clips, they look very good, but not the same case playing; It could be linked to the resolution Pause and play in the monitor Panel.

    You can get these settings, either by clicking the exit button in the lower right of the monitor Panel or by right clicking on the items in the monitor Panel.

    3. you also said that you pulled these clips at a lower resolution. By changing the values in the resolution of reading as suggested above, they may work properly.

    Here is the text of pdf help Prelude:

    Some formats are difficult to display in full motion by reason of their high compression or broadband playback. A lower resolution playback faster but at the expense of the quality of the image. This compromise is particularly visible when you view the other H.264 and AVCHD-based codec of the media. Less than full resolution these formats have turned off error correction, and artifacts are common during playback. These artifacts, however, do not appear in the exported media.

    Use separate reading and resolutions of break to better control the monitoring experience. With images high resolution, resolution of the reading to a lower value (for example, 1/4) for smooth playback and the resolution of the break in full. These settings allow you to check the quality of the details of development or the edge when you stop playing. Cleaning put the monitor resolution of reading, stop no resolution.

    I hope it helps. Customer feedback is important to us. Continue to write in the case of any confusion.

  • Problem with font size, is change suddenly wrong with resolution

    Hello!

    It has been two weeks since my Photoshop CS5 has begun to abnormal behavior. Could I humbly ask for your help, please?

    A picture is worth a thousand words, I did a Visual description:

    photoshop-resolution-problem.jpg
    (not sure how to work the forums here, I also uploaded it here)

    In the past, I could open a picture I wanted to, and type in this image, the text would be always the same. The size of the police, in particular, would remain the same. For example, the Segoe Print 18 points would always look the same on an open image.

    And then, about two weeks ago I noticed sometimes problems, policies, at the same size usually, were suddenly huge. I finally got to where he comes from, the resolution of the image.

    If the image resolution is 72, then the fonts are similar to the usual. If the image resolution is higher, the fonts look more great.

    To make the fonts look the same as usual, I have to manually change the resolution, with an Image > Image size, change the resolution to 72 and then, because the dimensions of the pixels fell after changing resolution, write once again the size of initial image pixel.

    For the life of me, I don't understand what I did wrong. I'm not accusing the program, I have checked something without noticing it, somewhere.

    A friend did the test on his machine, and he didn't have this issue.

    Here are my program settings, if they are relevant (mirrored here):

    photoshop-resolution-problem-my-settings.jpg

    If you can help, will have saved a poor Editor, and you'll have my eternal gratitude!

    Stop it! Not resetting preferences. station_two is clueless.

    Your image with pt Verdana 15 to 600 dpi and 72 dpi shows that you get the correct result when you specify the size in points, which is a physical measure (1 pt = 1/72 inch). At 600 dpi to 72 dpi, a given policy will cover 600/72 = 8.33 times more pixels in width and height.

    If you already receive the same coverage of pixel with different resolutions, you were probably specifying the size in pixels instead of points. (At 72 dpi, 1 point is equivalent to 1 pixel, so you do not notice any difference between points and pixels at 72 dpi.)

  • DW CS3 problem with images PNG-8 in design mode?

    DW CS3 (build 3481) XP seems to have problems with PNG-8 images, specifically trying to in Design view.

    I had a very simple image that could be exported by Fireworks CS4 as PNG - 8 using 4 colors (no transparency) for a file size tiny less 250 bytes.

    Impossible DW display at all, or even recognize it, reports that it was 0 x 0 in size. I published the page anyway, and he seemed fine in the browser.

    I upped the number of colors to 32, and DW could then view it in Design view in the page, I was working on that.

    I always have problems with the other PNG-8 images. The attached file "temp.jpg" is a screenshot showing the part of the design view in DW.

    The small picture to the left of the banner is "58_certificate_of_discharge.png" (attached), and the largest image below is used as the background of the DIV containing the form, (also enclosed) "compassbk.png".

    These pictures all look well in the browser, but terrible in DW.

    I'm puzzled as to why.

    Thanks in advance.

    I think I can say that if this is a problem with the CS3 version, you're stuck with it.  I have never known Adobe/Macromedia to patch a version, once a newer version has been released.  I saw no problem with the PNG 8-bit, 4 colors seen in CS4, I created, and I guess that would apply also to the other variations of your.

  • Inspiron 1525 - problems with image restore factory (need help!)

    Hi all

    I have a problem with my Dell Inspiron 1525, I can not solve... so please help me!

    My Windows Vista Home Edition crashed while installing an update and now could not start more (I always get this bad blue screen during startup), so I would like to repair my laptop using the Dell factory image.

    I'm doing... .with related problems

    1. I press F8 during startup, but there is no entry "Dell factory image restore" or something like that (I even tried each one entry but nothing factory imagine restoration).

    2. by starting with a Ubuntu live cd, I can see that there is a partition that contains (among other files and folders) that image (:\dell\image\factory.wim) and a Tools folder where there are files imagex.exe and pcrestore.exe

    3 one... Using a pen drive usb bootable containing a bootable back version, I Prime the system. I also put in the usb pen, ntfspro.exe in order to read the ntfs partition
    b. I went in D:\Tools and run this command:
    > PCRestore.exe --> but I received an error message indicating that this program cannot be run in dos mode
    c. so I tried this other person (I've read here in the Forum):
    > imagex/apply c:\dell\image\factory.wim 1 c:\ --> but I got the same error as above, it is impossible to run this program in dos mode

    4. in addition (and I think it's weird), I tried to boot with the dvd operating system shipped by Dell with the laptop: loading at startup of Windows, but just after the progress bar (green) appears at the bottom of the screen, it blocks showing again this bad blue screen!

    Now I don't know what I can do!

    .. .Please help me!

    Is there a way to restore the laptop with the Dell factory image?

    Thank you
    Orlando

    orlando1,

    Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

    When you press F8 and the menu, choose the option which reads 'Repair your computer' and follow the menu to restore the system.

    This utility formats the partition of hard drive to the operating system before you restore the original image. This means data on that partition is deleted and cannot be retrieved.

    If you create a second partition with a third-party utility, Dell Factory Image Restore remains unchanged until the partition of the image is not deleted.

  • 2015.3 version of first having problems with images DJI OSMO k 4

    The latest version of first Pro CC (2015.3) is to have huge problems with 4 K of my DJI OSMO Zenmuse X 3 images. It meets generic errors when you import the footage in the project, by accepting some clips, but not other apparently at random. It gives my custom built Windows 10 PC errors on low ram and also gives me the same issues on my laptop MSI Ghost Pro. I went down first to the previous version, and there is no problem. I don't know if it's just a problem with the Osmo or 4K in general. Please fix this.

  • Problem with the size of ExtendedMap.xml

    Data Modeler 3 Production version.

    The logic model has about 70 of the entities and relationships, and about 6-7 fields by entity.
    Apart from the logic model, there is only one relational (Oracle 11 g if that's important) which is empty at the moment.

    ExtendedMap.xml takes about 7 MB in this configuration. It may not be a problem in itself, but it does not fit in our VCS ("too big").
    The question is: is this a normal size for this file or there is a problem with the design or something?

    I would like to know, if I can change the template in some way to solve this problem, before I asked an adjustment of parameters of SVN.

    Thanks in advance!

    You can remove it if there is no mapped relational model to logic. It will be restored on save next (small) and you can commit.

  • A problem with Images of great CSS background

    I have two images of great background, placed at the bottom of the page. The problem with the help of the bottom property to position a picture is that browsers that don't have much height will cut upper part of the image (in my case, Santa). Here is the link:

    http://www.holidaymarket2010.com/

    By reducing the height of your browser, you can see what I mean. The image starts at the bottom of the page, so if the screen is not high enough the upper part of the image will be cut off.

    The image must be position at the bottom because the Christmas tree (piled up like a Christmas tree bulbs) is cut down. The background looks fine in most browsers, but there are many portable large screen that have less height than most of the other screens.

    Ideally, I'd like the image to start at the top of the page, as if I had used the top property position my images. So, there's the dilemma. I wonder if anyone knows of the tips of how I could pull this off. In other words, I want to position the image at the bottom of the page, but I want the lower part to be cut, not from the top, if the screen does not have enough height to display the entire image. Any ideas?

    How about you decide your BG image in two separate images, configure a container for each, and you can then position Santa on top.

    Problems of this kind always requires that we look at the code of the page. There
    easier to diagnose if you post a link to the actual page. Fortunately, I
    has been able to find the URL of the screenshot. What you see is the
    top margin on the paragraph around the links.jpg image. You can fix it
    by changing this:

    <>
    SRC="images/Iggpog22Index/headers/links.jpg".

    To do this:

    <>
    SRC="images/Iggpog22Index/headers/links.jpg".

  • Problems with images in Muse

    We have at any given time 2 or 3 photos on our website that half is cutting.  Go Daddy, we use for our accommodation.  The lower half of the space allocated for the image is gray or white.  We have removed the images several times, that she replaced, re added the same photo, troquee the spaced which image goes where and whenever we have repeat the site 2-3 images are cut.

    Our Muse and BC are perfect, the question is considered only in line on the published site.  It is not always the same place or the affected image, but as soon as we fix one, another Cup.  I am unable to put screenshots here but would be happy to send an email to someone who can help.

    Portfolio

    The link above is to the portfolio page on our site where we had the question.  At that time, upward, stainless steel countertops is cut, 2-3 of the way down the page, the image of cable railings and planter boxes is cut and further down is so the footrest bar. It is meaningless, as soon as fix us an image that another task is assigned.  Once we have removed the pictures and re added, we had images in different places, we used different images - at any given time, there are 2-3 pictures with the bottom half cut.

    Go Daddy told me that our text has been added as an image with brightfield, and our images have been added as a backdrop, background display 'options' not 'image options.  This is not correct, our test is added as text, and we can change it.  Our images are added in the form of images, with "image options.  I'm on the phone with Go Daddy right now (one representing different of course) and they tell me that he could not have told me that they do not have a way to see the 'options' we would.  So I'm really pleading just for anyone who thinks they can help give a shot - please and thank you!

    Cutting on the website photos

    Here is a link when we have asked this question previously but ceased to answers

    As mentioned in the previous post and you mentioned that it works in British Colombia, please provide the url of the BC site too which might help in the investigation.

    Thank you

  • Problems with images in offline mode

    Hello, I'm coming back in video editing and I run into some roadblocks frustrating with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.  I use one, what I discovered for cheap camera, Samsung SMX - F40. IM shooting resolution 'Fine TV', which I believe is 720 x 480.  By trial and error, I think I have a Preset of correct when creating my project sequence, because I successfully under the leadership and downloaded the video on YouTube that was my goal for this project. But he had problems all the time with the video going on offline so I had to re - change a lot.  Revisit the project final file only days laters, it is once more unusable because some clips are again in offline mode.  I try to re - link them, but the files are "format unsupported or damaged."  These are the same files with the same name in the same place that I used to create the video and he suddenly doesn't like them now.

    The files are .mp4, I read that this first seems to have problems with.  I used Bigasoft Total Video converter to change my .mp4 in .mp4 I read first would like better. But I still have the same issues. He's not either.

    I'm a bit lost and I was wondering if anyone has advice or solutions that could solve my problem.

    Welcome to the forum.

    This ARTICLE is about a bit of Offline media, but with this error message, it looks more like your fully-paid version of CS4 has been bitten with him back to Bug Trail. This has happened to multiple users and is mostly the result of the update of PrPro. A quick check, create a new sequence and see if you still all Presets of HD. It is likely that you do not have. This affects what it is MPEG, so HD or SD and it's just to quickly see what you have available.

    The "fix" is an operation of several stage and in this order:

    1. Disable, if possible (probably not, as the trial is not activated)
    2. Uninstall PrPro
    3. Download and run the Adobe CS5 of Tool Cleaner (latest version) several times, rebooting between each series.
    4. Install PrPro
    5. Immediately upgrade to the latest version before embarking
    6. Launch and test

    Good luck

    You are in Live View mode by accident?

    Switch to the Design mode. The editor in Live mode, while better than it was when it was introduced, not still not all the functions of the Design view. In your toolbar, click the triangle next to Live and choose Design. This will give you the ability to change size by dragging the corners of selected images...

  • Problem with image rollover in div

    Hello

    I am having trouble with the following.

    I want to create a rollover image 90 x 90 pxl pxl and put it inside a div 90 x 90 pxl pxl.

    The div inside other tags div, and constitutes a kind of a table. I checked that all sizes of div and image are the same, but when I place the cursor inside the div tag and select "Insert a rollover image", that my images are all crushed upward and not appear not a normal size. Very strange.

    Here are some of my code:

    CSS div (I want to put my image inside the smallBox01a)

    }
    #Header #rightColumn #smallBox01 {}
    height: 90px;
    Width: 270px;
    }
    #Header #rightColumn #smallBox01 #smallBox01a {}
    float: left;
    height: 90px;
    Width: 90px;
    }

    HTML

    "< div id ="smallBox01a"> < a href ="tobi.html"MM_swapImgRestore" onmouseover ="MM_swapImage ('tobi',", ' Images/TobiOver.jpg', 1) "> < img src =" Images/TobiOff.jpg ' alt = 'Tobi' name = 'tobi' width = "90" height = "90" border = "0" id = "tobi" / > < /a > < / div >

    The poor old Tobi cat face is all crushed upward. Any idea what goes wrong? I do not have any padding within the div either.

    Thank you!

    PS I should also add that, when I tried to add just in one of the pictures instead of the rollover image Tobi, he appeared perfectly well within the div. It's only the reversal, which is getting crushed vertically upwards.

    Tobi

    90px × 90px (resized to 90px × 40px)

    Right-click on the image and click Reset size.

    Also, in your CSS, you have this rule that resizes the height at 40px on all related images:

    an img {}
    border-top-style: none;
    border-right-style: none;
    border-bottom-style: none;
    border-left-style: none;
    height: 40px;
