When I start the Task Manager to end the process, it sometimes freezes and the only way to solve the problem is to disconnect which forces the profile to close. Assuming a corrupted profile, I followed the instructions of Windows support to fix a corrupted profile and copied all the files except ntuser.*. When I try to paste them into the new user profile (all profiles are admins), I get the error message asking if I want to leave to proceed. When I click on continue, all THE files in the profile block "corrupt" to the new one, including ntuser.*, that I was not choosing. Why? If the files are rewritten empty? Tried 3 times, same result. Please notify.

  I think I found it! I went in the Windows Live Forum and found a thread that looked like my problem. He suggested going to msconfig and take off Live Mail list start. I couldn't find it on the list, but the top element was "" default EXE"something of an unknown manufacturer. I took it out of the startup list, and Live Mail works again! Thanks for your help!

  Unfortunately, I've seen this before. It is due to a bad Word import. Fortunately, I spotted immediately, and messing with the Word file autour (record as a copy, record to RTF, DOCX format recording, muttering and cursing a bit, to import into CS3, save and open this file with CS4) I could make it work.

  Strangest thing, that I found with my attempts of CS4 was to find a missing reference text inside of another - as a reference-interior-by-reference... But I had the advantage that I had the original Word file to mess with.

  Perhaps I can whip up a script to "pass" all text reference in the following note, leaving just the first white (and you will have to insert a last empty note after your last, to contain the text of your current last). Would it be useful?
