  I connect to my laptop to a TV with a VGA cable. The TV has the ability to display up to 1920 x 1080. Normally, my laptop display mode is 1280 x 800. When I connect to the TV as duplicate display my laptop switches to 1024 x 768 and won't let me come back to 1280 x 800. How can I fix this. I need dual extended display or tv only is not an option. I need a way to have my normal screen (1280 x 800) resolution when you are connected to the tv (external monitor).  I know that this is not a problem with the VGA cable because I get a resolution of 1920 x 1080, if I select external display (tv).   First of all, please forgive my ignorance! I only worked with databases slightly over the past two years and so far only with MySQL and MS SQL.
  
  Recently, the company I work for bought a new Oracle requiring package. We bought a copy of Oracle 10.2 in the case and the company who resell it to us and set up for us, we have been denied access to the database on our server, dev because it would expose their underlying data schema. I wasn't in the change when the decision was made and we have spent money on a paralyzed copy of Oracle, but it's in the past.
  
  Because we have not dev access to Oracle, we are unable to create a database of training for this new software in the home. We pay this company to create a test environment for us. I was told that it would cost $500, until technology has said it will install Oracle on the server of our training.
  
  At this point, I stopped him and said $ 500, they'll be violating their license agreement, or by giving us a free copy! The other possibility is that they were going to install this and then just this law we for Oracle, despite citing the work at $500.

  It is certainly possible to create a second instance of the database on the same server as your production system. We have several servers with multiple instances. If you follow this path, there are a few things that you should keep in mind.

  Every Oracle instance must have little memory assigned from the RAM server to host the CMS, PGA and other process oracle. Each instance must have sufficient disk space to accommodate files data temporary tablespace, rollback segments etc. Depending on how you plan to implement your training environment, this could potentially be equal to your production environment memory requirements and the disc. If you plan to have a smaller subset of data for purposes of training, then you could probably get with much less than your environment of production.

  Another possibility would be to create another schema in the database of existing production to use for training purposes. While this would need less additional memory and space drive that uttering a completely separate database, it could have an impact on your production system, since the training environment would be sharing resources with the production.

  None of these scenarios would need additional licenses to Oracle (assuming that you have either licensed CPU, or that production and training combined have fewer users you have named user licenses).

• Problem with the events and Movieclips

  Hi all.

  I got myself in a situation where everything was perfect with zoom events, keyboard events and drag-, click of the mouse.

  The project is:

  A movieclip with image sequence: original background.

  And other clips: also images sequence (png)

  They were all separate specific mouse events and all the zoom and key events.

  Now wen I click on the button with the movieclip to function, only the png image sequence is turning and the main mc is not.

  I am trying to generate random phase multi-sine waveform using the PXI-5412 14 bits 100 M/s AWG on LabVIEW8.0.

  The version of LabVIEW8.0 for the PXI-5412 comes with a sample VI on multi-tone waveform generation. When I tried with a different combination of frequency and amplitude, there is no problem with the sample VI.

  Because I need the phase to be random for each frequency component, I had tore the tone cluster containing 3 elements, i.e. frequency, amplitude and phase, which feeds the generator of signals, and rebundle the cluster with elements of reading a CSV file by using a loop, a fixed value amplititude and a number of random phase of the frequency generated by a random number (formula lournies elements (: pi - 2pi x r). When the waveform multi-sinusoidale generated on the PXI-5112 100 MHz Digital Oscilloscope, it was pointed out that the waveform would change with the tested frequency range.  However, the amplitude of the wave is always ~1.4V (guess that's always default to 1 V x sqrt (2)).  There is no question also when testing the same combination of frequency and amplitude by using sample VI without modification.

  Please find attached the VI of the sample, snatching up to the version and the CSV file I used. Is there something wrong with the table 1 d of the cluster of 3 elements that I built and assembled causing the signal generator to ignore the value of input amplitude and, possibly, the input value of the same phase (as it seems that the amplititude is always set to the default)?

  The other question that I found on the two sample VI and ripped version is on the news of sampling.  The waveforms appear on digital Oscilloscope PXI-5112 always default to 10 cycles no matter how changed the sampling frequency and the number of samples.  For example, if the frequency is 10 Hz, sampling frequency is 1000 Hz, and I put the number of samples to 10000.  I'm supposed to get 10000/100 = 100 cycles.  However, I could see 10 cycles no matter how, I changed.  What should be the correct way to change the number of cycles?

  2 standardize Waveform.vi always normalize your amplitude of the signal. You can remove it to use your desired amplitue, but must make sure that it is not above 5412 spec.

  Hi, I'm trying to write a script with tiara, who wrote a 2d axis system in the report but I'm having a lot of problems with it.

  What I'm trying to do, is make 3 or more system axis 2d in the report, each displaying a part of the data of 2 channels (x = ch0, ch1 = y).

  With only 1 graphic I get what I want, but when I try to add the 2nd or the 3rd, they show without my defined x-scale and with the offset x different from the first chart.

  I tried everything, but I could not remedy

  I added as attachments the .csv file that I use to ch0 and ch1 and 2 screen shoots "what I get" (about the problem with the script) and "what I hope to get" (done manually, is what I'm trying to get the report)

  Here is an edited version of your code that works on my computer.  A problem that I know that I fixed it was that your presentation of the STATE was in the name-oriented mode but you use the variables based on the number to assign it X and Y channels.  The execution of these commands in a loop FOR makes it much easier to debug the code and to avoid any annoyance at first.

  I have a problem with the help of Listbox value change event. The code that I have attached is a simplified version of the largest program, but the problem is the same. One of the loops of Nonna is responsible for handlig occurring events ant the other is responsible for the execution of the program. In the project of oryginal I use a listbox control to determine which plots graphic display of a waveform is visible (first position of the listbox-> only plot first visible etc.). In the attached vi, I just show the current value of the listbox control. The problem is the event runs only once and then the program crashes. I want to be able to change the value of the listbox work both at idle and in State of a program, but when I put the structure of the event in both States, he does not. As soon as I run this VI, the loop to connect to the controller stop working and only used to configure agilent machine works.   After update to Windows XP SP3, we had problems with the computer does not restart.  It was "a loop in the start-up 3 screens and would only restart in Mode without failure.  After using a great technician, the problem has been fixed.  He informed us that the problem is the AMD processor in our CV.  Because I am NOT at all computer "warned" I want to ensure that I understood the repair... There is a permanent fix?  What exactly is the problem?  It will happen again?  Thank you!

• Pavilion 15-e070sl: problem with the key "cancelled."

  I have some problems with the key "cancelled." It does not work for a few months. But the more serious problem is that sometimes when I double click on a file or a folder with my mouse compares the window cancellation asking me to confirm moving the file to the trash. This window disappears until I have restart the system. He thus annoyng. It seems that the key 'cancelled' suddenly to work again when I double click on something.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook 15-e070sl and the keys does not properly.  Select an on-screen keyboard layout using this document , as this could be the problem.

  If this is not enough, try this document on troubleshooting the keyboard. You can watch the laptop marked key stuck section.

  Here is a link to uninstall the keyboard. Restart the computer after the uninstall, it must be reinstalled automatically.

  Have you tried to clean the key or use air to blow the key there could be debris in the key itself?

• Problem with the menu "open with."

  I'm using windows vista and have a strange problem with the "Open with" menu

  When I click on a file and select 'Open with', the program I want is not shown on the list of programs. so I click on "Browse" and find the program I want on the program folder files, but the very fact that it does not appear on the list of programs in the "Open with" menu.

  The program works normally, I can open the program and click on the file-> open and choose the file I want, but it is easier and faster to double-click a file to open the program...

• Problems with the data connection

  I bought a Z3 Compact Xperia on December 10, 2014. I live in Italy and I use Vodafone as my everyday.
  I got a SIM card replacement nano with LtE capabilities just to get the phone in the new fast network. The problem I encounter is that, since on January 13, 2015, I had some problems with the data in mode 3 G connection.
  So far, I used my phone normally, then I tried to send a text message with WhatsApp and phone stuck with the clock icon in the lower corner of the bubble of the message. I thought it was a temporary network problem but I'm not sure about this.
  I live in a small town where the coverage is really good, either in 3G and LTE. I tend to use the 3G because it uses less battery and it does not affect my 4G data plan.
  Th issue, it's that if I do a speedtest when I feel that network glitch I have a ping, but with very good download speeds up to 2000ms.
  The problem is that I believe that this is not a network problem because my mother has a phone HtC One S and runs vodafone without problem even when I'm having the glitch.
  I tried to reset the phone to factory settings, but it did not help.
  In LTE / 4G I do not experience this issue. In fact, I think if there is problem need a phone related software because the antenna works very well.
  If it doesn't I'll try to contact ad Vodsfone then I'll send my phone for the helpdesk if Vodafone tell me that the question is not on their network.

  It's pretty strange, double check the APN settings and contact EE in this regard.
