  I have a lenovo y5070 UHD, 8 GB of RAM, 4720hq i7 clocked at 2.6 ghz, 1 TB SSHD and GTX 960 M. I know that the screen is a k 4 IPS 3820 x 2160 clocked at 48 Hz. I want to know the exact model of the screen to overclock (hz) refresh rate by using a profile in Control Panel graphics intel HD. I really don't understand why the screen is capped at 48 Hz and I wish I can make it go 60 Hz.

  Hi all

  My lenovo y5070 has a intel i7 4720hq clocked at 2.6 ghz with the mode up to 3.6 ghz (this is what its supposed to be). I noticed (using Task Manager) the fact that the processor will only up to 3.3 ghz under full load. I need to mention that the laptop is plugged in and power is set for maximum performance (with advanced option 'State of the processor' set to 100% maximum) on windows 10. There are no other options powersaving haven't turned on and I failed to find anything in the bios.

  Hi Softlayer,

  After the battery is charged completely IE 100% even if the adapter is connected, battery does not charge beyond 100%. You can disconnect the adapter and you can use the laptop through battery. Once the battery is up to 20% you can start loading again.

  If you want to have a good battery life, I suggest you to activate the mode of preservation in the application of energy management. This method will charge the battery up to 60% and it stops after 60% of load.

  To activate the conservation mode go to the management of energy and select setting and in virtue of the present select conservation then on option.

  Hello

  Simply connect my new Dell UP3216Q monitor to my mac pro book.

  As stated here (displays use 4 K and Ultra HD TVs with your Mac - Apple Support ), it should work with the port of 60 hz display (monitor is OSH)

  However I cannot get this frequency and be stuck at 30z. (no possibility of change in display preferences)

  Is anyone using this type of monitor or managed to change the Hz?

  Hi, I have a new HP Envy 4500, and it does not connect to my wireless network. He sees the correct SSID (using WPA - PSK / TKIP or AES), but he will not join the network after providing the WPA key. Printing test results shows a FAILURE on > parameters - without filtering.   I finally solved this problem after 2 weeks of trying everything! Based on the above comment from BH, I thought that I had to turn off my radio show from 5 Hz. My new router has prevented to me because of the way Cablelink run their software. However, I finally got access to change it. I disabled 5 Hz. I still have the invalid password! Then, I changed the predefined WPA WPA2. It worked. I turned on my 5 Hz back show, the printer is remained connected. I then changed back to WPA2 and immediately lost connection! I put it to WPA and it connected again! I did NOT change key wireless, he remained at 16 characters, just the level of security! It seems if I want my Envy NEW 4500 with UPDATE drivers on my wireless network, I have to REDUCE my password security, which comes by default with modems cable new with Cisco, and accept the WPA! The strange thing is my old Iphone 4 and my old Apple TV both connected without problem. Therefore more recent Iphone to my wife 5 c and our newest Samsung UHD TV. So why a NEW model of printer is sold in stores right now, not able to work on WPA2? I lost 2 weeks on this issue before the sort it! It works, but I'm not happy! Same HP UK failed to connect after 4 hours on their online chat and remote assistance online! I worked it out myself from the comment by BH! Thanks BH. HP POST PLEASE A REPLY ON THIS THREAD WHEN YOU FINALLY WRITE A SOFTWARE FOR YOUR PRINTER TO WORK ON WPA2. MAYBE YOU CAN EMAIL CISCO IN ORDER TO WORK OUT HOW TO DO THIS BETWEEN YOU.

• Problem with Dell P2715Q and Mac Pro connection

  I have a Mac Pro 2013 with AMD 500, 64 GB RAM graphic card.  I just bought a pair of monitors Dell P2715 Q 4 K after using my 30 "Apple Cinema Display for many years.  Monitors properly function while I actually use and I can manually put the system to sleep (using the option-command-eject) and I'm able to wake the system by pressing the keys on the keyboard.  They work in 60 Hz mode UHD (3840 x 2160) and are connected with the display port (Thunderbolt) mini display port cables with that monitors came.  They are connected to two of the three bus TB. The problem is that when I restart the computer (or stop and start up), the monitors will automatically in their 'power save mode', and the Mac Pro does not seem to recognize that they are there, trendy, so I get two blank screens... no way to connect, because there is no current login screen.  The only way I can actually connect and begin using the computer is to connect an old 23 "Cinema Display, connect, and then connect the two valleys and unplug the 23". Yes, I can leave the computer and he just put the system to sleep, but when I need to close for a software update or the failure, I won't have to drag another monitor comes to start using the Mac Pro.  I have 27 days to return if necessary Dells.  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  So I bought a new laptop of Lenovo Y5070 yesterday without an operating system since I still have my windows 7 64 bit.

  Windows 7 64 bit is installed without problem. At the time wherever I was able to install my drivers, I couldn't through with my Intel video driver installation, so could not continue to install my NVIDIA driver either. I downloaded all the drivers of Lenovo support section compatitable.

  When I try to install the Intel video driver I downloaded from the support page, it gives me an error saying: "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

  I had the same problem. You can download the driver directly from Intel Intel. It works and it is newer than the one that comes with your system.

• Lenovo Y5070 instant stop

  Hi, I have the 4710HQ GT860 4 k version of the Y5070 and it has this problem of the unexpected shutdown. Simply, it turns off without any warning. 2-3 seconds before closing the keyboard unresponsive, while the mouse still works. Sometimes a pop noise comes out of the speaker at the bottom. It is not caused by overheating, as this laptop is never actually heating. I have reason to believe that this started after upgrading the bios (downloaded from the official website), I would try a restore of the bios but I can't seem to find the bios image oldest on the official page.

• XPS 15 9550 with black screen problem

  I have a XPS 15 9550 UHD, 512 GB SSD and using the laptop without major problems for 3 days. Today, I tried to start in safe mode for windows and you press the F8 key at random on the departure. It has not worked and I retried the boot. I could randomly pressing keys like F5-F6-F7-F8 function, etc.  But now the screen is always black, no sign of any connection Logo Dell or bios. I see that power exists on the laptop, fans run, there is on the keyboard lights up but the screen is black and there is absolutely no sign of boot.

  I also press and hold the FN + start button / stop. It did not work. I tried but its not start. What could be wrong here? Remove the battery (I hope that security will not be cancelled if I open the back of the laptop) and retry the turn a good idea?

  Try to press and hold the power button for about ten seconds, release and press it again. If I remember something like this happened to me recently, and I think it's how I solved it.

  BTW, F8 to enter Safe Mode has been disabled in Windows 10. You can hold SHIFT while clicking on the power > restart links on the login screen or the Start Menu (on the left or right, click on the selection) and then enter in the troubleshooting section. The other option is to change BCDEdit.

  EDIT: I just now experienced some strange problems on this site. From time to time if I right click on one of the posts to choose open in a separate tab, the select box (which has a number of other selections) is completely or partially black. I have never seen it before. I use the latest version of Firefox as my browser.

• Zoom and follow a sequence UHD?
