• Client VPN prevents internet access from other computers on the network

  Hello.

  I run Client ver 4.6.03.0021 from an office on a network of 11 computers via a hub 16-port. Internet access is through an ICS gateway to the cable modem. Once I changed the modem cable to test a backup and then switched back to the original modem. After this, only computers that have the VPN Client (running or not) could access the internet. Computers that have no customer VPN can access only certain sites. Commonly viewed sites would say "site found. Waiting for answer", but the answer would never come and IE 6.1 cling. When I would try ping sites, it would fail. However, some sites such as Google.com would work.

  On one of the computers, on a whim of head, I installed the VPN Client but have not set up a connection. Now, this computer will connect to any website I want.

  Is there a fix easier to get access to other computers on the network without installing the VPN Client on each of them?

  Looks like you are running in MTU problem. The reason I say it is, automatically reduces the MTU value to 1300 VPN client during the installation for the whole system. That is to say all the client computer installed VPN that have MTU from 1300.

  Try to cut down the MTU of other systems that have no VPN client installed to 1300. If it's a Windows system, you can use Dr. TCP (free).

  I would like to set up a Windows 7 Pro machine so that the administrator or the Administrators group can access the control panel and disable other users to access.  So far, I can use GP to disable all access or allow access for ALL, but not to be selective in who I grant access.

  I blocked a user in oracle and trying to "Account is locked out" displaying messages of connection.

  But I am able user from other users query tables. How do I block it?

  Account lockout does not prevent others to get access on user objects. The only change is that the user won't be able to connect more.

  To block others access to objects of this scheme can be done by defining the privileges of law for other users, or with the vault of the database by creating a Kingdom

  around this blocked scheme (DV requires an additional license).

  Hello, I have recently started up to Windows 7 on a partition of Windows 10, because a game wasn't working properly on Windows 10 system (has notified downgrade after a one hour session troubleshooting).

  I don't know if the game is causing these issues or anything else, but my internet connection goes away, even if the internet bar shows that it has internet.

  Right now, I'm typing this, it says I have a problem.

  Hello, I saw that this question was asked before, but has never seen a solution to my problem, I will explain:

  I have like 5 months with this problem. I have a TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Router, model No. TL-WR841ND. The fact is that when I plug in my router to the Modem, my wireless network seems to work fine, but when I try to connect to my computer or any other device to the network (mobile phones, playstation 3, tablets, etc.), I am unable to do so. On my laptop, I get the message: 'Problem with wireless adapter or access point', but the most confusing thing is that sometimes I can connect to the Internet via my network wireless without any problem.

  This time I decided to post my problem, because I'm tired of it. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Right now, I have two days without Internet connection (Via router), because my modem works properly.

  PS: I have another router (Linksys) and I can connect to this network, but I want to solve my problem with the TP-Link because the signal is stronger. Help!

  I'm new to ESX and I have tons of networking with VM issues, I am deploying to a model.  Can someone tell me if I do something wrong?

  We use

  vSphere Client 4.1.0

  vCenter Server 4.1.0 build 345043

  It is a brand new installation of W2k8 32-bit and w2k8 R2 SP1.  The machines work fine when I create them from a CD.  When I turn them into one model and "Deploy Virtual Machine this model" is when things go wrong, all the machines I have deploy have network problems.

  That's what I do

  • Install VMWare tools v 8.3.7 build 341836
  • Apply all updates from MS-based VM
  • I have check them as a model
  • Deploy the virtual machine for this model
  • Give it a name
  • Choose the customiztion comments-> customize using the Customization Wizard
  • Use the virtual machine under the name of the computer
  • Give him the windows license product key
  • Give him a password
  • set the time zone
  • Nothing in the race once
  • Network - default settings
  • Task force - task force
  • Where is the operating system-> options I check 'generate new security IDS (SIDS).
  • Save the specification - I can't verify anything here, but I wish I could

  I think you're right, it looks like a problem with the switchport configuration.

• Problem with Internet access: local only for wireless in Vista

  Help, please.  I have a Dell laptop and a Dell desktop computer.  The other day, I pressed WPS on my router Netgear wireless, and since then, my desktop computer (Windows Vista Home Premium SP2) was not able to connect to the Internet.  The office is connected to my router.  My Dell (Win 7 Pro) laptop is able to connect wirelessly to the router and Internet.

  That's what I tried:
  (1) I bought a new wireless router Netgear WNDR4500
  (2) I bought a cutting mini USB wifi adapter for the desktop.  Install the driver.
  (3) reset winsock, ipv4, ipv6, dns
  -netsh int ip reset reset.log
  -netsh winsock reset catalog

  ipconfig/flushdns

  (4) order McAfee firewall
  (5) restarted several times
  (6) persons with disabilities wired and wireless enabled - I get signal green/fort
  (7) off active and wired wireless
  None of the above seem to work.  I keep getting 'Access to local only' on both cables and wireless.  When I ping yahoo.com, I get no response.
  My laptop, however, works very well in the connection to the wireless router and also to the Internet.
  Anything else I can try?  Help, please!

  Now however this report must be run from a different workspace that uses another db-user. And there, I don't get any results data.

  I tried to add this other scheme in the original workspace, I tried with subsidies or thesaurus - all made no difference.

  For further testing, I wrote this view:

  create or replace view ourApp_apeximplementierung_v as
  select application_name, page_id, page_name, region_name, source_type
  from apex_040200.apex_application_page_regions
  where application_name = 'Our App'
    and source_type in ('Interactive Report','Report')
    and region_source like '%my_function%'
    
  union 
  select 'application_name', 9999999, 'page_name', 'region_name', 'source_type'
  from dual;
  

  The last 'dual' - line gets very well displayed in the other schema.

  Maybe it has something to do with tables temporary golabl? Because when I create a table of this query, these data can be recalled.

  But data must be dynamically updated, and I will not conduct the re-creation of the table, each time an APEX region is updated.

  I took a look at the creation for APEX_040200.APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_REGIONSscript. (What is this "APEX_040200" syntax? Is this some sort of schema under?) The table wwv_flow_page_plugs within this script, I can't access from outside. (Would be nice to be able to update the APEX-regions via DML ).

  It has nothing to do with global temporary tables. For security reasons the APEX views only display data for the applications in the workspace where the current schema is the schema of analysis for the application. If the application of the 'Our' App is not in the same workspace or has another scheme of analysis then the expected behavior is that no information links to the it is visible.

  No, it's just a standard schema that contains most of the APEX.

  It would be simply a way to break your applications and your APEX installation (and potentially data bases) in an unsupported state.

  What exactly are you trying to do? Why this application does not require the visibility of metadata of the application to another workspace?

  The patterns that are granted directly to the APEX_ADMINISTRATOR_ROLE database role can view all data in the views of the APEX. However, I would not recommend grant this privilege to an application to the analysis of schema. If you really need more broad access to the metadata in the views of the APEX then give the role to a schema that is not a scheme of analysis, set out the minimum possible information through functions of views/materialized views/pipelined and grant access to these for the application schema.

• Remote access? 'other' user appears in the Excel file

  My husband uses Excel 2008 for Mac on his mini. Today, it has created a new Excel file, and when he went to save him, he did not allow him to do so. After I told him to try to "Get Info", he saw that there was another user listed as having access to 'wheel' (FIRST HMMMM?). None of us use this name. The permissions are set to read and write.

  I could, even if I don't have to open the lock, allowing to delete this user and change the permissions of the "Everybody". Always without having to open the lock.

  I open the lock using his password, made another change, saved and closed the file.

  I went in its security and confidentiality and found that the Firewall was turned off. I turned who, without having to open the lock. (DON'T know WHY I didn't have to open the lock.-SECOND HMMMM?)

  So, I changed his password, all closed and restarted the computer.

  No more 'wheel' on what it is, yet. The permissions are correct so far.

  HOW to know if someone would have managed to remotely access her computer? This doesn't seem to be that someone got access to distance?

  I switched to Windows 7, I hated Windows 10 for several reasons, now I can't access the internet, even though it says I am connected...  I just had to spend a lot of money a few months since my computer crashed, and I can't afford to pay all over again.  Don't know what Windows deleted 10 back to Windows 7, but I'm only borrow this computer to try to understand what I have to do.  Microsoft does not seem to have phone numbers that I can find to call.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I have a HP Envy 15-j040us Notebook PC Touchsmart is currently using 8.1 64-bit windows.  I play 2 Farmville on Facebook.  I started having problems after installing Windows 8.1.  My mouse hesitates and reluctant game and I can barely move on the screen.  I am not real computer savy but can follow directions if you can just tell me what I need to do to correct this.  Everything on the screen is just very slow and the mouse does not seem to want to go where I'm pointing to it.

  I see that you have any questions, play Farmville 2 since the update to Windows 8.1.

  First, update the drivers for your graphics (GPU) with the following download: driver Intel graphics high definition (HD).

  Once you have done this, update Adobe Flash player plugin with the following download: Adobe - Flash Player

  Once you have updated the GPU and the Flash Player, disable hardware acceleration for Flash on your laptop:

  1. Right click any where on the Farmville game once it has loaded.
  2. Select settings.
  3. Make sure that you are on the tab display/graph (see image below).
  4. Clear the check box to enable hardware acceleration if it is available. If you are prompted to activate the control of your webcam or microphone that these steps do not apply because the game is not trying to use the acceleration.
