Problems of its Lenovo T431s - need help

So maybe it's a bit of a long read, but the issue is somewhat important. I work in a University as part of the IT team and I've never really seen a problem quite like this before. In our Department, we have about 60-70 T431s that our medical students use their laptops for primary school. However, when watching videos, sounds stop randomly. Sometimes sound will stop if they plug in a headset. I was unable to replicate the issue every time and he goes and comes, it seems.

I made each update, reinstalled the drivers, updated all Adobe products. Laptops come with Windows 8, but we use our Windows 7 64 bit on these machines enterprise-level. Short place all 32-bit systems, I am all ideas.

I'm out of options at this point. Ideally, we would like to solve the problem without having to reimage 60-70 systems.

Does anyone have any suggestions or have seen something like this? Any help is appreciated.

Update of the situation. So we have messed around for what feels like ages to try to resolve the problem, and so far, we have a problem which seems to be permanent... until now.

Since Device Manager delete and remove the Realtek drivers. After having done that, you should see High Definition Audio.

Immediately after that, do ANY updated and just restart. Reboot in Device Manager, you should see two drivers high definition Audio. This seems to solve questions about sound problems.

We have taken extra steps and removed the Dolby Digital profile app as it was causing problems before.

I hope it's a permanent solution and if all goes well, it helps others who know the same amount of turmoil that we did.

And Yes, I know that I can use Paint or a similar program on my PC to scan, but I want to be able to scan from my PSC 1317 directly as I used to be able to. I know that my COPS is old compared to most all-in-one printers, but it used to work perfectly fine for my needs. Help!

Problem solved! I installed a 'clean' of windows version and then reinstalled my printer software before all other programs. It works perfectly now.

Inspiron 1525 - problems with image restore factory (need help!)

I have a problem with my Dell Inspiron 1525, I can not solve... so please help me!

My Windows Vista Home Edition crashed while installing an update and now could not start more (I always get this bad blue screen during startup), so I would like to repair my laptop using the Dell factory image.

I'm doing... .with related problems

1. I press F8 during startup, but there is no entry "Dell factory image restore" or something like that (I even tried each one entry but nothing factory imagine restoration).

2. by starting with a Ubuntu live cd, I can see that there is a partition that contains (among other files and folders) that image (:\dell\image\factory.wim) and a Tools folder where there are files imagex.exe and pcrestore.exe

3 one... Using a pen drive usb bootable containing a bootable back version, I Prime the system. I also put in the usb pen, ntfspro.exe in order to read the ntfs partition

b. I went in D:\Tools and run this command:

> PCRestore.exe --> but I received an error message indicating that this program cannot be run in dos mode

c. so I tried this other person (I've read here in the Forum):

> imagex/apply c:\dell\image\factory.wim 1 c:\ --> but I got the same error as above, it is impossible to run this program in dos mode

4. in addition (and I think it's weird), I tried to boot with the dvd operating system shipped by Dell with the laptop: loading at startup of Windows, but just after the progress bar (green) appears at the bottom of the screen, it blocks showing again this bad blue screen!

Now I don't know what I can do!

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

When you press F8 and the menu, choose the option which reads 'Repair your computer' and follow the menu to restore the system.

This utility formats the partition of hard drive to the operating system before you restore the original image. This means data on that partition is deleted and cannot be retrieved.

If you create a second partition with a third-party utility, Dell Factory Image Restore remains unchanged until the partition of the image is not deleted.

During the test I have experienced the following strange behaviors:

Ping from A to B seems o.k. for abt 1 or 2 minutes, then no answer for about 3 to 5 minutes then answer OK again...

the signal strength is about 50%, power 50mW

This happens both on 5 11 MB, I tried different radio channels, this makes no difference.

To exclude different subjects, I disabled wep and mac address filters

The SSID is the same on all 3 br350, software version is 11.21

the log on A file has the following messages:

associated with the parent (macaddress)

lost authentication with parent

deauthenticating (macaddress), reason not authenticated.

I need advice that we must then try to solve this problem...

It is clear from your message, as if you have a nonroot seeks to associate with one another non-root; non-Racines only associate with the roots, unless this has changed.

I'll try making it a place in the middle of the root, and both ends not root.

Beyond that, what are your distances between places? If the national regulations in force permit, you can try to bump the power up to 100 MW.

Also, you can run a test (diagnostic) radio carrier to see if you have interference problems. Do this on each bridge; You must put temporarily in units of root to access this review.

Problem with Runtime.getRuntime ()! Need help!
I use the following command for the connected USB media formatting (in the case h: here's the connected media). Format happens correctly, but the problem is to format does not occur until you have completed running the java program.
I used the following code in a simple java main class and it worked well. But my request is broad and may not terminate / close it to complete the task of format.
Any ideas?

Execution of format will not move forward unless you program java, after that Runtime.exec () will simulate the playback format output and simulate you required ENTRY for format to continue. This procedure is not really easy, but fortunately the article explains well.

All I can say is that above works fine on my computer and I feel it should work on all windows because it does not use any new thing shell.

Problems with codec... need help to open the video file...

I tried the previous suggestions and ran the reset... no change...

· What happens when you try to play the video file? You get the error message? Yes, error msg - windows media player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file.
· What is the file format? 3GPP
· The question is limited to this video file? Yes, all the videos copied from my cell and downloaded on PC, the problem occurs. Note all the copied images have no problems.
· Did you do changes on the computer before the show? None.

Any further suggestions? I fear, if I should try a codec download from the internet and that you and the measures to be taken.

I would recommend that you download and install K-Lite Codec pack from here.

Get either the Standard or complete package to halfway to the bottom of the page. There is a package tailor-made for 64-bit if your Windows 7 is that the flavor. The 64-bit package is not always necessary, as most of the programs are still 32-bit.

Linked excel tables in InDesign CS5 update problems and keep the formatting: need help

I've been using excel to place several tables in my InDesign CS5 document which will require the update on a regular basis. The tables are already formatted in excel, so I will place in InDesign with formatting and you will usually have to reduce proportionally the tables as soon as they are in InDesign CS5. When I'll update the links, it is important the content of the tables as part of current text with larger text and I am unable to "Insert the picture content" or "shrink content proportionally." Nobody knows how to solve this problem or know of another way to link excel with formatting tables and update without having to reformat the table (i.e. to resize the image and text) every time that happens an update? Thank you!!

Problem in creating a global var 'data' to a json file - need help

I'm having a problem with a code and need help.
I use the code below to load and parse a JSON file and store the result in a var 'data '. Everything works fine on the compositionReady page. The problem is that it would save a lot of extra time analysis of loading/if I could do this 'data' available worldwide. With the current

the 'data' are only available locally. So, how do I or can I do a global var ABOARD cela?

There are 17 other 'profile' of sym.elements leaves, who will appear via ' by clicking on ' an animated image of an inch. Each sheet contains approximately 20 "fields" that get their data from the JSON file. If it is better to recharge/eval the json for each sheet I can do. It's just seems a better idea to be able to access the same 'data' and only load/parse it once?

Rough workaround is to use data = eval (json). This will create a global variable. Not a good solution though. Smarter way is to use the setVariable() method: sym.getComposition () .getStage () .setVariable ('data', eval (json)). After that, you can use data var = sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getVariable('data') to access.

Need help with a Hp Papvilion Dv7-1270US, from vista to xp 64

Well, I noticed that a lot of guys are useful here with installing XP on Vista and yes I'm another unhappy Vista user, I am a graphic designer and let me tell you programs and performance is not very good on my laptop HP that I am ready to go back to XP.

I have an extra HD a seagate sata 80 GB of my PS3 that I drag never used, so I'll use it to install XP on my laptop

good so I use Nlite to wake my sata drivers and my installation of Windows XP on my HP I would add something in there like {video card driver} {driver Chipset} etc, what should I put in the wake? and once the wake is done and winxp is installed in what order should I start to install stuff, please guys Im confused and need help if someone can point me in the right direction of the dv7-1270 drivers I would appreciate...

If I happen to screw up my 80 GB hard drive, not a big deal, blue screen, can not load, etc etc... can I just put my original 320 GB hard drive and back to Vista the way it was. ??? is it possible, which would ease my mind, thank you for your responses and assistance.

Here, I am a little confused. I just bought the Tablet Yoga 10 HD + and everything was fine. Today, I realized that my power button flashes constantly (every 3 seconds). I can't start the tablet in the usual way by pressing the button. Click on it for more than 10 seconds won't change anything eiter. What is this and how can I pick up my tablet to work?

Problems of 755M GT from Nvidia Lenovo Y410p Please help.

I just got the laptop 3 days ago and whenever I try to run a game on the laptop that uses the 755 m it will cause often the driver to plant especially when the power supply is on and when it is not plugged into the game will work, but at a very low framerate.

The games I tried are CS: go, Team Fortress 2 and World of Warcraft.

All of these game will work very well when the power is not connected but when I plug the power I'll get glitched graphics and drivers crashing shortly after sometimes it's just bluescreens me, I desperately need help.

I got Lenovo to replace the Y410p and realized that the problem was the nvidia driver. I updated the driver on the new and saw that the card was insensitive and quickly he downgraded to the default driver. Update the driver for the last is a problem with the card which can damage permenantly map which was what happened to the previous laptop

Keep the Nvidia driver for the entire plant: v327.62 until I know newer drivers are safe to use.

I use Windows 7 Pro.
I have read other threads and tried to launch SQLDeveloper.exe from the CMD prompt, nothing is shown a flash comes and goes.
Tried to change of SetJavaHome sqldeveloper.conf to the path JDK that it didn't work.
Please guide me.

Maybe there is a problem with SQL Developer, being able to write to the network share of desktop directory. Add the following to your sqldeveloper.conf file to force the settings of the user to store locally also:

AddVMOption - Dide.user.dir = some_local_dir_to_own_system4.0.3.16.84
