  I am running Windows 7 on this computer. I'm only under Firefox (without Add-ons) that runs one leg with flash. The flash seems to be stifled because there is not enough free memory.

  According to the Windows Task Manager, Firefox uses 213 MB (size of validation is 240 MB). The flash player plugin uses 127 MB (size of validation is 217 MB).

  Yet, in the Windows Task Manager, I see the following for physical memory:

  • Total - 3327
  • Cache - 1419
  • Available - 1391
  • Free - 1

  I think the problem is that so much memory is cached, but I don't know. However, I think a machine with 4 GB of RAM should easily run a single tab with flash...

  This error comes on Windows xp when the 'stand by' folder cannot highlight when we move from our computer.

  It is likely that your graphics card, a physical part of your computer, is not good enough to play these games.

• Problem of memory when loading of an asset with the URLRequest from a remote location

  I just noticed something odd today when profiling:

  When I do this:

  var loader: Loader = new Loader();

  Loader.Load (new URLRequest (fileUrl));

  If the fileUrl is loaded from a relative url directly on my machine so all is well, although if fileURL is a remote resource (Http: / / etc.)

  I noticed a spike of dramatic in memory in "function".

  I can't explain what's happening, what are the exact same file and whitout bytecode inside (no code, no link, no classes).

  Literally, the only difference is that one is loaded from my machine and one from the internet.

  In my case, I had less than 1 MB memory function if I load locally, more than 25MB if I load on the internet.

  What is going on, I never noticed anything like that.

  My guess is that we are the non-profit of buffers for network transfer in the case of file system.  Because the Loader object is passed directly to the displaylist, it gets never really released, and we can not garbage collection.  That's why do an exact copy of the object with LoadBytes incur the same load.

  I was chatting with the Scout team about it, and I gave them a copy to see if they can glean a few better understand what these unclassified pads.

  I don't think its related material, the same problem occurs on multiple types of hardware in several suites and will work very well with an administrator.

  In our configuration of most of the users on the domain are not admin and students if this isn't really a poisibility to give all users of photoshop admin rights

  Just for anyone else who gets the same question that we have, I think I found the solution, in our case at least.

  I ran process monitor again to see if I could spot something strange that Photoshop was trying to do and then I found this:

  

  It seems that Photoshop is trying to create a new file to the root of the directory windows called pslog.txt and when he fails to make the program crashes.

  So I created a script that creates this file and then gives all users write access, and this has prevented the crash.

  Hope this helps someone else who is in the same situation as us, trying to get the program to run in a domain environment.

• T61 gel when running on battery - no problem when it is plugged

  Got a new T61 2 weeks: 6459-CTO, Vista 32, T9300 2.5 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, Intel Turbo Memory. Everything is fine except the following problem: when running on battery only (not connected) the system hangs intermittently, programs stop responding, ctrl alt del does not work, only solution is a hard closed down. Lenovo sent me a replacement battery but same problem persists. Very annoying! System has never frozen when connected to the AC. All PC Doctor diagnostics OK. Insatalled latest drivers etc. Is update system, including Windows update. I have read that some versions of Intel Turbo Memory has had this problem when running on battery alone, but apparently this has been corrected with the later driver versions of Inter Turbo Memory - I later. Any help would be appreciated.  No problem other than that - I can't use the laptop on battery with confidence.

  All is well so far - no freeze no more! Now I can use my laptop because it was intended to be used - in battery mode - in the yard!  I wonder when Lenovo makes available this driver for their production. This problem of gel certainly did me a lot of grief.

  Download "a problem occurred during extraction of the files" error when running PSE11 download. I downloaded 4 times (on a slow network), used Akai Download Manager, Adobe Download Wizard and download directly from the copy purchased as well as a trial download, and get the same error with each of them. I even tried on a new laptop that I just bought Win8 running. First 11 and 5 Lightroom worked well on my old computer Win 7 and my new laptop Win 8.

  

  After trial & error it turns out it doesn't work if the files are extracted in the "office". Even if the leaders of all the other places of extraction are the same as what are extraction "desktop", they all gave the error "a problem occurred during extraction of the files."

  Please note that for users with errors and the similar report as a bug to team development.

  From what you described, it is possible that the processor, the RAM and the motherboard are all damaged. Or also the cold of power supply the problem (which could be checked for appropriate using a voltmeter). If you do not reply the existing motherboard then without spare parts (RAM, processor and motherboard) to use in tests, there is nothing more you can do with it to test these components.

  It is very difficult to say what may be the problem. In my opinion, there are several reasons for this. In the boot process, there may be some conflicts with background programs and services or certain hardware components. May be overwhelmed with all this processor and simply give up.

  If you wish, you can try to disable some startup items in the system configuration utility or disable certain hardware components not used in Device Manager. I don't know if this can solve your problem, but it will be interesting to know is there some success.

  The same thing happened to me, and finally I found the solution, you're right, it's a registry Permission problem, what I tried and did not help:
  -Mod safe - the same error
  -Antivirus Live CD (Nothing found)
  -Restore a backup of the registry - not worked

  The problem looks like interrupt loss during IPI-ALL-BUT-SELF dispatching, we tried to track possible problems in KVM code that may lead to an issue like this but found nothing so far.The issue looks even more interesting taking into consideration that as far as we know CPU grouping is SW-only feature that doesn't have real effect on hardware.We will be grateful for any idea that could help to resolve the problem.Thanks in advance!P.S.
