If you have installed 3 firewalls, uninstall 2 of them. You should not install / or run 3 firewalls. They will come into conflict with each other, and they're going to slow down the system. And turn the caps, we're not deaf

    Hi David

I ve checked your other assignments created here in the forum and it seems that you are an owner of Equium A100-027 PSAAQE series.
    Am I wrong?

First of all, I would like to clarify a few things.
Especially the yellow exclamation points appear in the Device Manager because anything could go wrong during the driver installation procedure or you have used everything simply a bad drivers.

I think you first need to know if you have used the correct drivers!
Please go to the page of the Toshiba driver and check again the driver versions and download again.
I noticed that many users download the bad drivers and try to install it.

On the Toshiba page, you will also find installation instructions. There are 2 txt files.
One for XP and one for Vista.

Please make sure you use the appropriate for the good OS installation instruction.
Download all the drivers, then follow the order of installation mentioned in the txt file!

Normally, everything should work ok and you should be able to install any drivers!

    Best regards

You need to download and save on the desktop > then right click on the saved files > select run as administrator.

  • Realtek NIC does not show in the Device Manager - until a hardware scan is done

A few months ago, I purchased a dv6 3240us and not downgraded to XP Pro win7 no problem, everything has been installed - everything I tried worked fine without any problem at all. I do not use this computer on the Internet - but I got the opportunity to connect the NETWORK card to a piece of equipment, I was working on that. When I went to change the IP address of the laptop - no local NIC (supposed to be Realtek) present in the Device Manager.  I installed the driver when I went down to XP without error.  I can only see the wireless adapter and it also shows on the system tray. When I right click on network adapters in Manager devices and do a scan for the hardware - the Realtek card is? and now everything works fine until I stop, then I have to go the process again. I watched the Realtek driver and he says its all working properly - any suggestions?

    Hello:

I'm not familiar with the BIOS settings too consumer laptop, but see if there is a setting for a LAN Power Save Mode - maybe in the configuration menu of the device.

On HP Business laptops, there is such a context, and the default value is enabled. What is this setting is to remove the wired NETWORK card at least that the PC is plugged in and connected to a LAN cable. This saves battery power.

They also have a LAN/WLAN definition switch that disables the NETWORK adapter when the other is in use. For example, if I plug a wire to my Wired NETWORK card, my wireless NETWORK card is automatically disabled.

If you have such a LAN Power Save setting, turn it off, and your NETWORK card must always be visible in Device Manager.

  • Equium L40-156: graphics card problem - error code 12 in Device Manager

    People of the night...

Just got a family run Vista premium, Equium L40-156, everything is going well except a little problem with the display adapter (Mobile Intel 965).

Tried the drivers that I had with the installer
Tried the drivers from the toshiba download page
Tried the drivers on the Microsoft Update site
Tried the drivers from the website of intel

All have the same problem, in Device Manager, it shows with an error (the pretty yellow triangle with the "!") with an error code 12 (the device cannot find enough free resources) even after a system resart.

Switching view hidden devices displays a 2nd same device, but works correctly, but the two disappear if I try to delete either.
Display settings do not display a connected device, DXDIAG had no idea either.

Latest version of the BIOS installed, all other devices are very good and can not see an IO overlap anywhere

    Any suggestions, greatly appriciated

    Hello

I have studied a little bit and looked on the Microsoft page for some answers and found out what exactly means the error code 12.

    ------------------------------------
    + Error code 12 +.

+ This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12) +.

+ Two devices are assigned the same i/o ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct memory access channel (whether through BIOS, the operating system, or a combination of both). This error message may also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources to the device (for example, if a (USB) universal serial bus controller is not an interruption of the BIOS because of a corrupt MPS (Multiprocessor) system table). +
    -------------------------------------

Well, what to say; usually this error message should not appear with the original Toshiba preinstalled operating system.
I put t know if you have changed something or add an additional device, but it would be very interesting to know if the same error message appears after the reinstallation of the OS.
You can use the Toshiba Recovery CD/DVD of restoration!

All the drivers, the tools are already preinstalled on the recovery CD so the entire procedure will not take very long. about 10 min.

Check this box and report if the same error is displayed on the laptop with the factory settings!

    Good bye

  • Satelltie M40X: NIC disappears from the Device Manager

I have a Satellite M40X with Windows XP SP2 and my card (Realtek gigabit) network is no longer seen by Windows (or Linux: test performed with a Ubuntu live CD).

The lan card is not seen by Toshiba HW Setup. I disappeared 2 days ago, was back yesterday that a d is not present today...
LAN card is enabled in the BIOS.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

The PC is 13 months (out of warranty Toshiba...)

Some registry keys are damaged and so the LAN card is not visible in the Device Manager (very possible) or the LAN card is damage (more)

I think you should try to reinstall the operating system. If after installing new network card is not visible in device (such as unknown device or network card) Manager then it s a bad material work and in my opinion, that the replacement or repair will help.

  • X 201 problems Wireless: Intel wireless 802.11agn shows didn't not in Device Manager

    Hi all

Just got my new Thinkpad X 210 series laptop, and it was supposed to have WiFi Intel 6200 AGN and also WWAN ready, with Bluetooth link. However, when I open the Device Manager, I do not see this adapter under network adapters, because I see that the Bluetooth adapter. I can't connect to my wireless router, or he sees no wireless connections as I now use it on another computer.

Can someone please tell me if this feature should be "on", or what? When I'm trying to diagnose my internet connection problem, also, there is no option for the wireless connection. I don't see a symbol that lights up on my screen, or just below the screen that shows the bluetooth symbol, and if I move the switch located on the side left front, it will turn the bluetooth market. I can't believe this isn't the Wi - Fi connection card installed. Is there something I need to do to enable this, or at least let appear in Device Manager? I also disabled the bluetooth button, and goes out, she also does not appear in Device Manager. So before booing and yelling at someone who sold me this, I better know if there is a turn on the switch for this adapter wi - fi enable. Any help will be really appreciated, or I'll have to wait another day to call technical support on this issue.

Thank you very much and I look forward to reading to stay on top of things by reading the comments on this forum.

  • Installation of construction LabVIEW application disables the Windows Device Manager? Help on how to diagnose the problem?

Please can anyone shed light on this, or suggest where to look?

I built an application using the Application Builder of LV2014 (32 bit).

On a Win7 X 64 PC at work, it installs and runs ok.

On Win7 X 64 PC at the customer, it installs ok, but then after Windows restarts on demand 'device manager' no longer works and there are some unchangeable registry entries associated with nipalu. The client runs Symantec security software. A client COMPUTER technician is suggesting that LabVIEW is interacting with device drivers and this is the origin of the problem, but we do not know how to go further. It is not really acceptable to deploy computers where the Windows Device Manager no longer works. Surprisingly, the application itself works always - it's just Windows which messed up.

    Thank you

Thanks for the suggestions. The company IT guy has not been able to talk to a person in NI UK support (no one was available), but he managed to keep it down to a problem with Dell Data Protection encryption Enterprise Edition. Delete first, then install the LabVIEW application, then reinsert DDPE gave a system where everything worked.

We have built apps that used progressively more labview drivers (vision, labview base; digital i/o)

Hi, I bought a laptop pavilion p-200nq, I installed windows and now I can not install the LAN, wi - fi, network and I have all kinds of problems in devices like Device Manager unknown ethernet cotroller, network controller, pci device and video controller...

I don't know if it is where I have to post but... I have a lot of problems... I don't understand.. need help

    Hello:

You should be able to use the W7 x 64 drivers and software from the HP Pavilion 15z-p000 CTO Notebook PC on your model.  Do not use the BIOS or firmware files but because they are the specific model.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-15-P000-notebook-PC-series/6936226/model/7174451

In addition to the information above, you will need to also install the AMD Chipset drivers and reboot in order to install the smbus and usb3 controllers.

    First driver on the list.

  • HP G6-1184SA: Bluetooth problem - not installed / display upward in Device Manager - does not at all - HELP!

    Hello

I just reinstalled windows 7 64 bit on my HP G6-1184SA.

I managed to get all the other drivers to work from the Drivers HP section on the Web site.

However I have a problem with drivers Bluetooth.

    • It does not appear in Device Manager.
    • It is obviously not working and I don't even know how I get it to the settings to find/installation/use.
    • I tried all the drivers Bluetooth 4 under my driver on HP product page. (2 of the drivers made me have BSOD and I got in safe mode to remove).

So basically, I want to get the Bluetooth on my laptop at work - there is no key on the keyboard or button to activate it - but I know there are as I've used it before you reinstall the operating system.

    Please notify.

    Thank you.

    Hello:

The page on the link below product specification indicates that your laptop does not come with built-in bluetooth.

If so, this feature would be are indicated as well as the specification of 802.11 wireless connectivity b/g/n.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-G6-1100-notebook-PC-series/5082224/model/5119776/document/c02863651/

If you still believe without a shadow of a doubt that your laptop came with bluetooth, little matter what the State of the record, then the only suggestion I can offer for you to install the HP software Connection Manager and see if you can turn on the bluetooth car radio using this software.

  • How to fix a sound problem - reading devices no. for the Device Manager on WinXP SP3?

    (1) I can't to Device Manager by following the guide for help on my system.  The steps do not match what is actually showing me my Windows and I can not here the only way I can get to it is to use a link on the help page directly.  Even when I do that, the steps in the help guide still do not match what I see on MY screen.  Is this perhaps an update of this Guide to match my system?

    (2) I need Device Manager to find out what happened on my Audio device.  I have no sound from my speakers.  It happened all of a sudden when my wife was using the computer.  I don't know what she can do both.

Start/Settings/Control Panel / sounds and Audio Devices Properties shows "No. Audio Device", hence "Volume of the device" is gray.  Audio tab displays 'No peripheral to read '.

The fastest way to bring up the Device Manager is:
    Start-> Run-> "devmgmt.msc".
If it detects the sound equipment, but there is a problem with a driver, you will probably see a yellow "!" appears by your audio device.

If he was working and stopped, you can try to perform a "System Restore" to a point where it worked:
