  Then I wanted to move the bar on an excel worksheet, but could not, the cursor changes shape nut etc. it won't let me highlight or move things?

  It's a bit as the right and left click actions are a little mixed?

  Mouse button configuration can be set for right-handed and left-handed users.
  Have you checked this option in the properties of the mouse?

  In windows vista with serveral e-mail accounts. None of the email accounts will allow me to add attachments. Which excludes the browser settings. Maybe windows Defender can't download attachments such as pdf or JPEG files. All of a sudden I can't uplload all the files of any type or kind.  All of the suggestions. I opened a new yahoo account and still had the same problem. Windows vista on my pc with a modem connection. Could also be a problem of provider. Any suggestions?

• To put music on HP Touchpad

  Had a Touchpad for Christmas.  Overall its not okay, but I encountered a small problem: putting music on it.

  I have attached the Touchpad of my computer in USB mode and synced to the music from your computer to the touchpad by using Windows Media Player.  WMP shows that music files are now on the Touchpad.

  When I eject the Touchpad and try to pull upwards the music icon, it tells me that there is no music on the Touchpad.  I turned it off & back again, he does not always any music.  Yet when I connect by USB to the computer - I can see the music files on the Touchpad.  (Thru the 'my computer', view files option.)

  My best guess is that the music you put on the touchpad is in an incompatible format. Windows Media Player by default .wma because it is audio files and this file format is not supported on the TouchPad. If you do a search on Google, you will find many utilities free ot that can transform .mp3 .wma. I had also suggest you change your settings to rip to rip music in MP3 by default: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-settings-for-ripping-music. MP3 is almost universally supported and should make it easier to move music files from a device without this kind of problem.

  Most of the time I use my computer, so im on the internet or do anything, the taskbar suddenly stops working.  Volume stops working, I can not open anything I've minimized in the taskbar. virtually the entire taskbar stops working.  However, I have no problem putting online or using the desktop computer, I am able to do everything except using the taskbar.

  When this happens I usually just keep clicking the taskbar frozen to see if something pops up that can help me and a pop of small windows saying "Microsoft Windows Explorer has stopped working" and then it gives me 3 options:

  (1) close the program and restart windows Explorer

  (2) close the program

  (3) wait for the program to respond

  It seems that explorer.exe does not respond because it is waiting for svchost.exe:AudioClientRpc.  What I've read, the most likely problem is a problem with your audio drivers, software or firmware.  I don't know why it affects the taskbar, but you're not the first person to have this problem.

  Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.  If you can get in front of the problem, it is perhaps the easiest way to solve the problem.

  If this does not work, go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers, software or firmware (and you should be for all of your audio devices), get the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  Be sure to get the right ones for your specific device and your specific version of Vista.  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. (I suggest you do that now while you think about it so you don't forget to do it later - it can make you save a lot of headaches down the road).
