problems to make the internet connection on computer starts

That's my problem... I turn on my laptop, no internet, I have to click on the Start button go to administrative tools, open services find wirless zero configuration and turn it on. then close all windows. I go to the blue toolbar at the bottom of the screen and then click the only Wi - Fi computer, open it, find the check box "use windows to configure the network settings" click this box close this window. Then, I have internet. Anyone know what is happening?

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

3. have you anythird party network or Wireless Manager software installed on the computer?

If you have any third-party network or Manager software installed on the computer wireless, I would say that you uninstall and check if the problem persists.

If you don't have such software installed then I would suggest that you perform the clean boot procedure and check if it works.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Also, make sure that the wireless zero configuration service is enabled when you follow the steps in the clean boot procedure.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

(b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

(c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

(d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    I tried this before using a laptop to share internet with my 360.  problem is there was Nat on the router, and it is in contradiction with the ics.

    Anyway long story short I did some research on the Internet and discovered that if you're behind a router ICS will be confllict with her, as ICS also does routing. a much better option is to "bridge the conections ' on the laptop.

  • Vista, loss of internet connection on cold start and restarts.

    I use windows Vista, recently (after only 4 years of satisfactory used) I lose the internet connection on cold starting and restarting and duty use windows diagnostics to establish the connection.  I bought a new Modem Sagem, and cable ethernet and filters, still the problems persists.  ISP tells me that the problem is with Vista, can anyone help please?

  • Computer crashes when the internet connection is detected

    Need help with my dads pc, it is running Windows XP SP2 with IE7, the computer crashes as soon as an internet connection is detected, I have to remove the usb adapter WiFi to regain control of his PC, we use a model Linksy Cisco Modem ADSL2 + Daul-Band Wireless - N WAG320N, which is used for a certain number of laptops xbox and ps3 with no problems whatsoever.

  • Windows 7 Dell computer laptop connects to the router, but the internet connection is spotty/slow

    I recently installed a new Comcast wireless gateway, which includes a built-in router.  My Ipod and Ipad work perfectly with this new router connection.  My Dell laptop, however, connects to the router without a problem, but it surfing the internet very slowly and sometimes can't access it at all.  The router connection remains strong during these periods of power failure, however.  I don't get online no problem when I connect directly to the router/modem with an Ethernet cable.  Network troubleshooting does not detect a problem, I have released/updated my IP address, and made sure I had updated drivers.  The issue still [persists.  Any input on what to try next?

    As you mentioned that your XBOX works perfectly well and you face the problem only on your computer, this means that your Linksys also works very well, it has something to do with the computer itself.     Vista: Click the Start button > Panel > network and Sharing Center-click view the status of the Local Area Connection - click on continue click on the properties below-click on a button on the button Configure click on the tab 'Advanced' - in the area of 'Property' highlight link speed and duplex/connection network/type or type of media - and in the 'value' box select 10 MB/s half duplex / 10 half mode base T/10 basic and click on OK.

    If it dosent always works, so I think you need to update the drivers for your NIC, once you update, it will not solve the problem.
